Ease of check in and price. Home was decorated nicely with new white linens.

Very poorly equipped kitchen, only 4 forks so ran the dishwasher constantly. Old and only a few pots and pans. No food storage at all. Old refrigerator that you couldn't even get the ice receiver out to clean and leaked water from the door. This home has 4 bedrooms and a rickety old table in the kitchen with 3 chairs that I would not sit in if you weigh more than 150 lbs. Had to clean everything in the kitchen prior to use as it was not clean at all. It looked surface clean when you walk in but there were food crumbs and dirt in all drawers and cabinets. Old torn up shelf liners in all cabinets including bathrooms. No attention was paid to actually cleaning the interiors. Hairs everywhere. Mattresses were hard as bricks. Not a good night sleep in a week. Just a memory foam mattress topper could help. Also, they really need to check their heating system. The master was a sauna and the rest of the house would never get warm. The owners are definitely trying to make it a great place and see the effort in the redecorating and snacks and coffee left for guests. I did contact the property manager and they were very responsive and said they would address these issues. Hopefully they do, because it could be a great place to stay.
