Location. Quiet and very comfortable. Definitely would stay again.2nd visit now.

Unit was unlocked with keys inside.
Driveway access was washed out due to extreme weather, which Aaron mentioned. I chose to not park up the drive after the initial park as my little car didn’t handle the bottom bit. Others parked up there no problem. But there is parking across the road that I utilised. This remark leaves an unhappy face sorry, not my intention as the property is great. :-) 😊

The property was spacious and cheap.
Keys were just left in a bowl and door was left open, but we had emailed several times asking how we would get access and the host never answered the question.
Property had not been properly cleaned.
No glasses or bottle opener.
What little mismatched crockery there was, was dirty,
Access to property was atrocious - massive rut in the road to get across to get into the property

Great unit and clean but under facilitated
1 thin old little towel - almost no cutlery - 1 glass and 2 stained chipped mugs - extremely murky windows

A spacious unit in a convenient location, with comfortable furniture.
Not very clean, no toilet roll holder. Flood damaged street made access a little difficult.

Needed to add another child due to family emergency. They declined the day before travel, advised we needed to book alternative. Refused to advise re. Cancelation fee. Very disappointing experience. Still waiting on refund 😭

The owners, particularly the husband was really nice and accommodating mainly because we dealt with him the times we needed something. The unit was in a good location and was spacious. We werent bothered alot and felt like we had our own space. We felt like the owners were considerate, hospitable and accommodating. They responded when we needed something and didnt make a fuss. I felt it was good value for money apart from the cleaning.
At no fault of the owner the road upto the house wasnt great for the car and do not recommend taking a lowered car through there. Need good breaks to park up the driveway as its on a hill. The shower was a little clogged, didnt drain almost at all at the start and looked like it hadnt had a good clean in a while. Owners took care of this when they could. Vacuumed cause there were bits on the carpet and small clumps of hair on the bathroom floor, a used mask under one of the beds. There were also signs of bits forming above the kitchen sink

The towels & sheets were cheap, it felt like it had a quick clean but never a really good clean. It was fairly uncomfortable & everything was second hand

Amenities were fine
There was an issue with the candle/electric wax burner being left on over night. Went to move it and wax spilt out every where, didn't know it was a wax burner thought it was a lamp. Sorry.
Prior notice about the road would of been ideal to booking. Scraped up our car a bit.

Shower andKitchen utensils not clean. Gas hob didnt work, no gas (discovered this in evening when dark and wet outside).

Sunny and warm apartment. Private with nice outlook. Roomy with good amenities. Nice comfortable bed. Hosts were friendly and helpful, whilst also leaving us completely alone unless we asked.
No towel rails, or toilet roll holder in the bathroom. Hooks behind the doors would have been useful. Crappy vacuum cleaner.

It was a great place to stay and the host was absolutely wonderful 😊 great value, comfortable, tidy and clean. Would definitely stay again. 😊
No towel rail or toilet roll holder. A Lady walked right past our door and was a bit rude about it. Bit hard to get in and out of driveway the way the gravel is and concrete is damaged. (I was in a rav4)
Minor issues compared to the pros of this property though. 😊

Space and cleanliness
Road Access to the property was dreadful. The road was in need of serious maintenance. There were potholes, large rocks and the surface was totally broken up in places. Driving over it was unpleasant, even at 5 km/hr.
Bed linen was almost threadbare - very old.

The accommodation was spacious, private and quiet, but still close to town.
Couch and bed are a little low for older people.

Would have been great to be able to plug in the microwave without having to shift it onto the bench. Some soap or body wash for the shower would have been appreciated

It was very clean and convenient. Host was amazing and very knowledgeable.

Was very close to town and the venue we needed to visit the next day. The bed was comfortable, had all the amenities we needed for the stay.
The place smelt funny when we first arrived. Could have done with a bit more of a clean, had to wash some dishes before we used them and we found ants around the fridge.

the Railway Terrace roadway although had a wash out storm so hopefully it will be fixed
