Excellent emplacement.
Personnel très agréable.
Petit bémol sur le petit déjeuner qui mériterait d'avoir plus de choix pour un 4*.

comfortable and good facilities
lack of staff, lack of gluten free food in restaurant

The generous room size, the very friendly and amenable front desk and particularly the restaurant staff, waiters and waitresses. The very large pool was a joy. The reasonable proximity to the Charnet Tober ski lift, but even better I imagine with more snow to make it a ski in ski out hotel.
I can honestly say there was nothing I disliked. If pressed, I would have liked access to sky TV or equivalent to pick up some channels in English. Having said that, I did not come skiing to watch television anyway.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had lovely view out of the valley. The breakfast is fantastic and the bar area really nice to sit in in the evenings. Easy access to the slopes. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely pool and spa area to relax in

great hotel, staff were all friendly and helpful. rooms were spacious enough for a family and comfortable, facilities were exceptional. Breakfast was very good, dinner was also excellent high quality for a buffet style.
having the pool facilities after a hard days skiing was brilliant. The games and climbing wall were also really appreciated by the kids.
while the food was excellent at dinner the options were limited for kids who don’t get have a developed palette! while Charcuterie, Tartiflette, salmon and spinach parcels, barbeque ribs et. were all superb in my opinion, my younger kids would have appreciated some simpler options more typical of a ‘kids’ menu. Bit they didn’t starve!

good location, great bar. restaurant was good, but I’d recommend going out a few nights. staff were nice and helpful!
it could have done with a really good hoover!

The size of the room was great, the kids loved the rock climbing wall, pool tables and arcade. The swimming pool was great.
It’s a long walk to the main Transarc lift especially with children. if there’s not enough snow it is not ski in ski out as it states and even if there is snow, it’s not an easy run to do. The breakfast food was good but there were no staff to help, basic things like bowls, water, cutlery were not there and nobody there to help. The coffee machine would not be working most mornings as nobody would top up the machine. The dinner service was the same unfortunately. Staff looked annoyed, unfriendly and unhelpful, what a shame!
Front desk staff were nice.

We liked everything- the room was very comfortable with a nice view to the valley. The food was great with a very good quality of the products offered. The staff was very kind and helpful. The SPA area is not perfect, but quite decent and pleasant, especially the outdoor jacuzzi :) The common areas were also very nice and comfortable.
If you subscribe the kids for a morning class you need to walk to the meeting point around 10 min, because the lift chair next to the hotel starts at the same time as the class.

Great breakfast
The spa area is chaotic and noisy. More a kids playground then a spa.

The hotel was close to the slopes. The room was lovely with a fabulous view of the mountains.
The food was very good
One day our room wasn’t serviced and I had to go and look for toilet rolls. Apart from that everything was very good

the dinning room was VERY smokey

Great hotel facilities, such as the pool and hot tubs.

great hotel very modern. lovely food, lovely staff. family room with bunk beds was so nice for the family. had a lovely Xmas ski trip with family.
not a ski out hotel, but short walk up small hill road to chair lift. can ski in if good amount of snow.

The hotel facilities are excellent - the reception climbing wall provided hours of entertainment for our children. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa facilities are simple but clean and safe for a family to use. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub is a great memory.
For me the food choices were great, though my wife (vegetarian) and two young children (4&6) really struggled to put a meal together, other than the alternative option, which has to be ordered 24 hours before, of pasta with cold tomato sauce :-(
For an adventurous meat eater it was great, on NYE there was a fantastic gala style buffet available with everything from lobster, king prawns, oysters and scallops - the waiting staff were serving complimentary champagne which was a nice touch.
We travelled in a large group and after dinner there’s limited space to sit in the bar area so we found ourselves standing about in random parts of the reception etc. You could sit at the dinner table for a period of time after eating, but staff were keen for you to move on so the table could be set up for the next sitting, which is totally understandable.
3.0
location, facilities, breakfast and restaurant.
the reception area was hopeless, we arrived at 1pm and couldn’t hire skis anywhere, even though we had phoned weeks before and was told we could hire skis no problem, the reception area was very unhelpful and unfriendly, our children couldn’t play pool as reception area had no change. the room was comfortable although most people in adjoining rooms were smoking on the balconies so at 1am , 2am and 7am we would smell smoke….this is not a 4 star hotel, staff were all very young…. could be much better, staff need training and we’re over stretched….

The room was fantastic, clean, new, big, comfy. Spa was great too. Skiset on site made things super easy. Kids loved the pool tables. Really enjoyed snowy outdoor jacuzzi. Also we arrived crazy early 6.45am, and they had a parking space for us and the stuff of dreams, a family room was ready for us and on the top floor. This made us so happy after a night of driving and they gave us free breakfast that morning. That was really a great start.
So the food was good, but the buffet was always short of plates, mugs etc, which was a bit annoying. The food was good, not massively child friendly (no rice or pasta over 5 evenings!!) and it was hectic, staff rushing around etc.

The food is really NICE, AWESOME, good quality and variety including vegetarian.
Staff prestative and trying to do their best. Really appreciate.
1- The hotel IS NOT A SKI IN/ SKI OUT - you have to walk long meters until the ski station with all your equipment on hand and not skiing. There are real skin in/ski out options in the region, but Mercure is not one of them.
2- The internet (wifi) is really bad, horrible, could not connect most of the time.
3- The staff is really nice, but most of them don't speak english.

The size of the room, the location, quality of bed, the view
The lack of competencies of the staff.
Hotel was closed and I couldn’t leave the hotel in the night. Nobody was there. 2 nights. The room was not cleaned everyday and even after asking the room was not cleaned properly.

good location for lifts at 1800. nice room. well set up for a small family with nice bed and bunk bed and sliding door to separate them. climbing wall was great. table football and pool in the bar. really accommodating for bikes which we safely stored in the ski room on first floor.
menu at dinner time was a bit uninspiring. kids options were limited to tomato pasta, nuggets, burger. they could have small plates from main menu.

beautifully renovated, spacious rooms.
great breakfast and ala Carte dinner menu for adults.
children loved the climbing wall.
food choices for children at dinner was a bit limited/ same every night.
The buffet dinner which we had two nights was very random and not at all like the quality of the A La Carte.
