We are delighted with this place, we will definitely come back here!!!

Liked it a lot !!! Received only wonderful impressions from the rest!!! The owner is a very good person, helped us a lot!!! Apartments with access to the sea, the view from the terrace is beautiful... restaurants, shops are nearby!!!

Great place, but not so great service

We did not stay at Thamirakis as our room was not available, instead we were moved 1,2km away to the edge of the village. The place was very nice though, right on the beach, so no complains here.

The host promised a late checkout, but then changed his mind, so instead of leaving at 18:00 as we agreed, we got kicked out at 10. He also made it sound as if it was somehow our fault.

Perfect place for a holiday in Kalyves

We loved everything about our stay at Thamirakis Studio. The location was excelent, it was very clean and the room was big enaugh for the 3 people

We didn’t want to leave, could have stayed for at least another week or 3!

From the minute we walked into the apartment we were blown away, the most amazing sea views we could have wished for. The apartments are literally on the beach. Nothing but the sound of waves lapping on the shore. Pure heaven.

The wifi connection wasn’t good bit didn’t affect our wonderful time.

Very good

Nice apartment with great beach and sea view from the balcony/room. It's directly located at the beach front. Since it is a rear building, it's very quiet at night - no noise from the street, you only hear the waves from the ocean. Beds were good, not too hard and not too soft. Sunbeds and umbrellas were included. The sand beach is very nice, nearly a private beach, because the properties left and right to Thamirakis are not used by tourists. It's good for a swim, since it's not too flat. Despite there are rocks in front of the beach you will easily find a sandy entry point with no rocks. Small supermarkets, shops, cafes and nice taverns are only a few steps away, so you will find everything you need. Rooms get cleaned every day! Private parking is available at no extra cost. The owner and personnel are very friendly and helpful. We would recommend it.

Relaxing stay!

The studios offer everything you need for a low price. Next to little private beach. Daily room service. Taverns, supermarkets, lovely shops, transport in walking distance. Good acces from Chania Airport. Great base for day-trips. Very friendly host and staff. Not touristically overloaded with a good international mix. Beautiful!

One of the best places I have ever been.

The location of the accommodation is very good. Restaurants and shops are 1-2 minutes away. The accommodation is right on the beach. We had a room with sea view. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The sea is only a few meters away. The accommodation has its own umbrellas and sun beds on the beach. The water is crystal clear. The room was very clean, cleaned and towels changed every day. There is a kettle, coffee maker, dishes, everything you need for a quick cook. The room description also mentioned a TV, but it was not in the room, but we didn't miss it. The host was very kind, he offered to check us out when it was best for us as our flight didn't leave until the evening. Everything was very nice.

It's really close to the beach. There is a a private and a quiet beach available only for you. The room was really clean and it had a small kitchenette equipped with everything you need. The bed was really confortable and the A.C was really good. It would cool of the room really quick. You have also a small balcony with a partial view of the see. Overall it was good value for money.

Fantastic

fantastic place. you could just go down the stares and you where on the Beach. not very high fancy standard, but very clean and we had everything we needed. Many tavernas, stores, bakery etc within 2 minutes walk.

We had a wonderful stay at the studios. The room was overlooking the beach and the sea. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony and the sandy beach in front of the accomodation was very convenient. It was a short stroll to the shops.

Perfect location for a beach holiday with plenty of great restaurants.

The location was superb, the room and balcony had a beautiful sea view and from the terrace below one had immediate access to the beach and sea. Also within 30 metres in either direction on the beach there were some great restaurants, and if you went out the front entrance you were immediately on a main street that had more bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and an especially great bakery (breads, pastries, take away coffee, ideal for breakfast). Also, what we liked was that it was a quieter side, rather than the main Kalyves Beach front.

The bathroom, although adequate was a little tired and could do with updating, but would not put me off staying there again.

Exceptional

I cannot review Thamarakis Studios as when we arrived there at midnight after a terrible delayed flight we were met by the owner who told us his apartments were closed and not ready to open. He then put us in a terrible apartment in a car park which we had no choice but to stay in as it was so late but the next morning we had to find alternative accommodation so no we were not happy. Why he waited until we arrived to tell us they were closed when he had months to tell us is quite unbelievable. I will never book there again.

Very good

Villa situated on the sea coast, it is uniqueness in village Kalives, has its own beach. Good wi-fi signal, even in the beach. Kalives- quiet village, but enough bars, restaurants, small shops.

Thamirakis studios - Perfect location

Thamirakis studios are in a perfect location right on the beach with fantastic views of the sea and mountains. The studios are very comfortable with all the facilities you need for a great holiday. Iannis the owner was always helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They are in a perfect location for exploring the area. Loved them so much we are returning next year.
