We needed an escape and this was exactly what was needed! Magical! The private pool was the cherry on top! I only wish we had booked for a longer stay. It really was so tranquil.

Superb, truly unique property situated atop a plateau above the beautiful Swartvlei beach and within a stunning Fynbos Game Reserve. There are beautiful views in every direction. The Cottage is located away from the Main Lodge in an incredible position. It is perfectly designed,laid out and furnished for a family. With a wrap-around balcony/deck, it’s own swimming pool and excellent facilities. We also enjoyed a couple of excellent meals in the restaurant, which had a casual, light and airy feel.

We found access via the main gate slightly inefficient. And it’s quite a drive up to the top. The concrete road is good but has many drainage channels, which just require care when driving.
