Home with family in the bush. We felt like living among the trees yet it was close to Blackheath township. The house was well kept and fully equiped. Easy to keep clean. There were aircons and/or fireplaces to keep warm. Highly recommended.

Steep and narrow driveway, difficult for 2 cars parking.

We loved the fires and the views from the sitting room. The kitchen facilities were very good.

The driveway and parking areas. It was very steep, muddy and difficult to park. Also there was no turning area.

High quality linen and towels. There was an abundance of firewood and fire starters. The internet was fast. The arrival pack was a nice touch and plenty of dishwashing liquid and tablets. The single beds were king singles which was a bonus.

There was only just enough dinner plates and salt and pepper. Would have been nice to have some oil and basic condiments. The BBQ was situated in the backyard some distance from the house (although I don't know an alternative location for it). The stove top and oven could only be operated independently of each other.
