The location was perfect, the property was well cared for and it felt peaceful, friendly and safe.

Nothing, it was cute, almost stepped on a chair “spike” in floor.

We got lucky, booking the reservation immediately after someone else cancelled. It was great to get away from our regular routine back at home and to spend our hours searching for shark teeth. The area was considered one of the top ten beaches for shark teeth but there were not many teeth to be found and the ones we found were at the far end of the beach. It seems like the "one of top ten destinations" may not be accurate for Ocean Isle anymore. Other than that, the area is gorgeous.

We booked Ocean Isle specifically because of advertisements that it was one of the top ten beaches for shark teeth. See my thoughts above this section. Many locals suggested going further south to other beaches for shark teeth instead of Ocean Isle and we wonder why it is still considered among the top ten beaches for shark teeth.
