SUPER COMFY BED AND LINENS, LOVELY CRABTREE & EVELYN SHOWER PRODUCTS, BAR TENDER WAS SUPER NICE AND FIXED US UP WITH A LARGE PITCHER OF WATER AS WE WERE A BIT DEHYDRATED AFTER AN OVERSEAS FLIGHT.
WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED A LOBBY COFFEE BAR, SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO USE THE TINY MACHINE IN OUR ROOM.
A SMALL BODY LOTION IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED AFTER A SHOWER, AS I WAS OUT OF MINE ON THE END TRIP OF MY VACATION.

The room, bathroom, bed were very clean. The bed was comfortable, sheets good quality, room quiet. They gave us a warm cookie when we checked in! There was good soap and shampoo, good coffee in the room, and nice towels.
We checked in late in the evening from the airport. We called the hotel and asked how to catch the shuttle to the hotel. They told us the airport door and the name on the shuttle. We found it and arrived at our hotel easily...only to learn there was another hotel (nicer) with the same name. The lady working at the mistaken but nicer Hilton was rude and would not tell us how to get to the other hotel. She scrunched up her face as if it was unpleasant to talk about it and said her hotel was nothing like the other one and had nothing to do with hers. She told us to call the first hotel for help. We told her we had done that. She told us to go back to the airport and ask there. Both were Hilton hotels at the airport. I'm certain she knew how to actually get to the other hotel and that this has happened before, but she seemed annoyed that we were meant to be slumming but were going to her hotel expecting to be allowed inside. I felt like Julia Roberts at the dress shop. Big mistake. Huge. Before we left we finally talked her into writing the exact name of the shuttle we were meant to take, but she wasn't happy about it. Back at the airport, we called the first (correct) hotel again and a second person was again unhelpful, telling us the same info even though we told her this info had landed us at the wrong hotel already. In the end, we made it to the correct location. Both shuttle buses had "Hilton Doubletree" on them. It felt like a conflict between the two hotels and we got in the middle. We were just tired and wanted to pay for a room and sleep...maybe with a scotch and pizza by the time it was all over.

Breakfast was good. Staff were so helpful, courteous and friendly. There was a day that we couldnt stay on for the breakfast. They were so kind to let us pack the coffee and bread. Location was good and the counter staff managed to arrange the airport transfer for us. All the counter staff was so attentive and excellent.

Free shuttle the second day.
I booked this hotel as there was a free shuttle from the airport. I asked by chat where to find the shuttle when I land.. they replied to call the reception when I land.. I did, I tried to call them at least 5 times… no one took the phone, finally I had to take a Uber. When I arrived I told them this, they apologized - they said, they were unable to answer the phone, too many clients… what a mess…

our room's AC did not work for one day and we were not able to sleep whole night and next day they fix it.
when i asked about the discount at time of check out, as me and my family not able slept whole night the maneger simply said they can't do anything.

Spacious Rooms, spacious lobby. Located in an area which is not very crowded which is good...Mall and Walmart just across the highway.

Good location, decent stay for the pricing! Staff were also friendly and the facilities were great.
Washroom had no ventilation system and no lock for the washroom doors. Couldn't turn off the shower but was fixed quickly which was great. However, after the fix, the water could not go hotter and was lukewarm at max.

In general staff was excellent - only drawback was that ordering a Taxi proved quite difficult and brought some stress at the airport. But this might not have been the staff's responsibility. Therefore, a thank you for everything else despite not giving full marks above!

It was convenient to get to, thanks to the airport shuttle. It was clean.
The first night - no hot water and no promise of a discounted rate to compensate.
Also, upon arrival, having been transported in the shuttle with a flight crew, I learned there was no regular service I could count on for the return to the airport. Because you look after flight crews, service for me would depend on how the driver could manage both, and I wouldn’t know until I asked the reception after 3 pm on Sunday afternoon. Fortunately a family member (we’d come for a family memorial service)was able to take time out of hosting relatives to drive me to the airport. That should not have been necessary in an airport hotel that advertises airport shuttle service.
Airport hotels are important for our annual trips to France, necessary now in both directions because air lines seem to no longer be able to guarantee same day flight connections.

The room was clean, the bed and pillows comfortable.
Front desk was accommodating for a late checkout and receptionists were kind.
Food served at breakfast was good.
The Double Tree Hilton I am reviewing is the "Pointe Claire airport West" so not the one closest to Trudeau airport. There is another much closer.
For the sake of this review note that we stayed one night before a departure flight.
SHUTTLE: They do offer a complimentary shuttle to airport and you have to reserve in advance with front desk.
The driver that day was rather rude and unpleasant, not helping at all with luggage or the van door. He didn't bother to ask passengers the destinations and that was not right since he could have dropped off at 2 different doors (domestic flights vs international) so we had to walk a good distance unnecessarily. Just make sure you tell the driver to drop you off at the right door for your destination flight.
The room was supposed to be ready for guests but there was no conditionner in the big refillable bottle. We had to call Front desk, it was late and we had to wait. Not a big deal, but it was a basic supply missing.
The other annoying thing was that there was no USB plugs to charge our devices like in most hotels of this price range. (>$300.00/night) Electrical outlets were a few and for the lamps.
BREAKFAST: It was included and the voucher said BUFFET but arriving there we were informed it was à la carte. When we asked why the paper said buffet the receptionist said that was the vouchers from before covid (3 years ago) And lastly, breakfast is served between 06:30-09:30 which in my opinion cpuld be until 10:30 since checkout is at 12:00.
We will chose another airport hotel next time.

The rooms were renovated but were quite small. The beds were like slabs of granite and had no give in them at all. A room booked for 4 adults had only three towels, and inadequate supplies for the 4 days rental. At over $500 per night, I would have liked daily housekeeping and reasonably decent service. Nooe, it was not explained at checki in that you needed to call the reception desk daily if you wanted anything cleaned or replaced. On Monday morning at 9 am we awoke to hammering and drills. They were renovating a suite close by. The parking lot was badly lit and not monitored. sorry, this place looks good in the lobby but is a busy everywhere else

It was an easy to get to hotel from the airport. The room was spacious and clean. You could hear the highway in the room, but limited. The kids thought the pool was okay to swim in. The welcome cookies were very much appreciated. There was no breakfast buffet, but we were given the menu and were allowed to choose from it. This was all well arranged and tasted great.
We had booked for 5 people. Two adults and three children. At breakfast we found out that we only got breakfast for 2 adults and that we had to pay for the children separately. Very strange story that the rules had changed etc. In the end we didn't feel like making a bigger business out of it. They paid 1 more breakfast and we paid a small amount for a children's menu and drinks. But tip check when checking in whether you get a voucker for breakfast for everyone if you have also booked this.

lovely room and restaurant was excellent. limited menu so we almost didn’t eat there but happy we did…..it was delicious.
airport shuttle was available so we had to get a taxi. we called and the staff and manager were very rude on the phone but they did agree to pay for the taxi.
