Nice comfortable stay with serviceminded staff!

We had booked 2 sea facing beach huts many months in advance. Upon arrival we were told that they have got a notification from Bookings.com that it is 2 ground floor rooms. And they didn't even have that! Only one room was available. They gave us one beach hut in the next property Silent Waves. The windows in this one did not face the sea. The construction is so makeshift that it shakes when you walk about. There is no chair in the room and not even a hook in the bathroom to hang your towel.No electric kettle or tea cups etc. Besides,after bathing the water collects like a mini pond on both ends.Added to that there was a rat jumping about in the room!!! But a word for Sandy who works for Aquilla. He knew they were at complete fault so upon asking he sent the kettle etc and someone to wipe away the mini pools in the bathroom. Lalit from Silent Waves gave us very good service brought our orders all excellently made to the balcony attached to the hut. So no complaints about the staff. But there was a major goof up on the part of the management with the booking,and Sandy was the fall guy.

The location is superb. Right on the beach. When you get up you get a magnificent sea view right in front of you, and you can just step off the property onto the beach directly. The beach itself is spotlessly clean and serene. There are lifeguards on the beach who keep guiding people to the safer parts of the water. The guests on the beach are well behaved and the entire beach has a very safe vibe. You can enjoy playing in the water, taking long walks on the beach or sitting in the cafe/restaurant of the hotel which is right on the beach. On the other side of the property is this quaint little street with shops of various merchandise from local crafts to hats and beachwear, to T-shirts etc. It's a nice street to take a walk on. There are several nice bars and restaurants on this street too. The hotel's bar is also nicely stocked and has variety of drinks. You can hire two wheelers at a place right next to the property. And the most awesome thing is the cabin itself. Nice and spacious wooden cabins with a double bed and a huge bathroom. And the cabins have glass doors, so when you wake up, you can have a great view of the sea.

Great location, good restaurant. Of course, the daily sunset. And the best service on the coast. Special thanks to Sam. We will definitely come back here.

Frequent electricity problems, staff did not care about your room cleaning and rude behaviour if you complain about these problems. Not worth the money. Tourists can choose other good options nearby

The best thing about the place was the help of staff member -Sam! (Samuel Jackson) who was so good to us and took care of everything with the greatest energy. The beach is chilled and quiet and the rooms are clean

The location,the huts,the food. Also I want to specially thank Sam: He takes special care of his guests. So that you feel like home in the hotel. You can ask him any question or help. I had an issue with booking.com but he solved it totaly professional.

Only Location is nice.

I felt It's slightly expensive since there is no restaurant & room service when I visited during May 22 end. There is hidden cost of rs 500 per day for AC charges which was not mentioned while booking through booking.com.

Other than the property being right at the beach there isn't anything too great about it.

Walked in to check-in, no one at the reception, no one further in as well. Had to resort to the aide of the other guests to find a person that worked there. Fully managed by 1 staff member. Owners are in Mumbai. Staff didn't know which rooms to allot to us. Had to call the owners who tried selling us some other room since ours was occupied. Did eventually get our rooms though but had to manage with 1 for like an hour or 2 (had booked 2 rooms).

Amazing room, just as advertised. It's right on the beach and you will wake up to views of the sea from your bed. Amazing food and great hospitality. All the staff were really polite and helpful, Sam was exceptional, arranged every thing we asked for always with a smile. Would love to go there again.

one of the brand new property on the beach stretch.. superior rooms and very humble staff all the time ready to serve with big smile. its a paradise and I'm gonna miss it. hassle free parking.. mouth watering food, seafood and cocktails..

my return from aquila, I'll be back for more days.
