The location, the pool, peaceful, spacious rooms

Issue with the aircon in the master bedroom, lack of lighting in kitchen

We chose the villa because it has a beautiful, peaceful tropical garden, a private pool that is big enough to swim in and a large covered terrace area with outdoor furniture. The villa is lovely, light and spacious with 4 generous sized double bedrooms and would suit a couple wanting privacy, a large family or a group of friends. There is a big open plan living / dining room, fully stocked kitchen and a separate laundry room. The villa is quite remote but security is good, as there are bars on all of the windows and doors. The entertainment / restaurant complex, Grand Baie Bazar and the huge supermarket, Super U Grand Bay are only 5 minutes away by car.

The villa is difficult to find initially because the area is still being developed. The road next to the villa turns into a dirt track and therefore Google Maps does not show the exact location, however on our arrival the villa manager was very helpful and liaised with the taxi driver and came outside to meet us. It is a 40 minute walk into Pereybere along busy roads, so a car is essential. There is only air conditioning in the 4 double bedrooms, so the rest of the villa is hot on an evening but there are fans in the living room. Due to the tropical garden and the surrounding countryside, we experienced a major problem with mosquitoes at the villa during the first couple of days, especially in the evening because we were not prepared and did not use enough repellent. We would advise anyone staying at the villa to bring mosquito bands and mosquito killing lamps with them.
