Felt secure, clean and communication with the host was 1st class.

Loadshedding, coming back to see no light, or iron, watching TV and the light goes. So u end up with cold water, or union clothes. Coming from.the UK it was tough

The biggest regret of our trip was staying at this property. So many negative things I wish to contextualize. First, a day before arrival, we were given instructions on how to get our keys. We got there and the lockbox was not working. We tried to call the property and they didn't pick our calls so we sat outside for over 30 minutes trying to get through to them until they responded on booking.com. Second, our bathroom sink was clogged up and we requested for maintenance to resolve this and no one showed up, not even an apology for the same. Third, we requested for the cleaner as we paid a cleaning fee and no one showed up, not even an apology or refund for the same. Forth, the pillow in one of the rooms had stains, the throws were dirty and had a bad smell and the sofa was not clean; it was badly stained with a bad smell. The customer service was terrible as the team acted nonchalantly. They did not even bother to reach out to us on how to handover the keys after our stay. I finally understand that cheap is definitely expensive! It also makes sense why this property was the last to be sold out if it was sold out at all while other properties were booked and in a short space of time. The reviews too were not great and I wish we had paid a little more for a better stay. The horrid attitudes and state of apartment contributed to the "not so great" time we had. I can attest to the fact that a good place to stay is part of the vacation experience and I wish we knew that. Wow! This is the absolute worst property. If I could give a rating below 1, it would be -10. I advise you to stay away from this property. Cheap is EXPENSIVE! Definitely NEVER staying here or recommending this place to anyone! I will be posting this review every month for the next 1 year just so I can ensure they don't reap anyone else off. Time to clean up the world!

Was charged a cleaning fee but needed to clean ourselves. we were only supplied two toilet rolls for the entire duration of our stay. (not serious, just an irritant).

Popr Payment process was quite a pain as it was outside booking.com and then they sent me an email that they did not receive any money... I needed to send them proof so they confirm it! Did not inform about load shedding, did not provide any battery lamps Sink was blocked - Popr team said it is "normal". Even checkout was anyoing - they blamed us that we did not deposit the keys - turned out that they confused us with with somebody else... Very loud wind noise Advertised with sea view, reality is pretty poor Uncomfortable bed Marijuana smells if windows are open as neighbour seems to smoke Balcony door broken, could not use balcony first day. Next day's fixing needed 2,5h - so we lost half day of vacation waiting for handyman to fix it Dirty carpet and couch When we took a shower, water was accumulating at front door.
