Great place for our annual get-together among old college friends. Plenty of room and rooms, well-appointed home with an outstanding lakeside view. The property managers were very responsive to questions and the few minor issues that came up.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this house while vacationing in Kelowna. The view of the lake is breathtaking. We were able to swim right from the backyard to the floating dock. In addition to swimming, our kids played many games of basketball in front of the house. The inside of the house was beautifully decorated and maintained. Spacious kitchen with large dining area for our big group. No need to pack a lot for clothes if you are staying here. The house is equipped with modern washer and dryer. Air-conditioning units throughout the house kept us comfortable during the stay. The house is close to shops to pick up food for cooking and restaurants for dining out. The owner of the place Curtis was very welcoming and responsive to communication when needed. We will definitely rent this place again for future trips.

The place has been refreshed and improved since we booked, so I had to double-check we were in the right place on arrival! The house is even more impressive in person than in the listing. A few minutes after we arrived, the host (who lives in the property next door) arrived to greet us. Very friendly and great communications throughout. The place was stocked with all necessities. The bedrooms are all a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen and living areas were more than big enough for our group of 6 golfers. (We used one of the living rooms as a sixth bedroom, and the host provided a full mattress for the pullout.) The deck was our main gathering place - it’s a great size with a wonderful view of the lake and surrounding hillsides. We had frequent visits from the local deer (and marmots). It’s a 5 minute drive into town where you can get everything you need, but you feel a million miles away (in a good way!). In short, we loved our week here and would return in a second. Even in the fall this is a beautiful property. The house is far more spacious than it looks online and close to amenities without sacrificing privacy and the feeling of being 'away from it all.' The new owner was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. Very restful.

My family and I enjoyed a week at Randy's property. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The lakefront was perfect! The home is located on a beautiful piece of property with a large lawn, beach and dock. There is no AC (we knew this when we booked) but didn’t know just how hot the bedrooms and house would get. The kitchen and all bedrooms are west facing and get drilled with afternoon sun. The kids couldn’t sleep it was so hot. Had to sleep our toddler in the laundry room. Unfortunately, the experience with Randy and the property was not positive. Because this house is his actual home he rents out in the summer, he showed up whenever he wanted. He came to the property unannounced 4 times throughout our stay. The last day we were there, he showed up with an appraiser, entered the door code into the door and was about to let himself in. We had to stop him at the door to tell him that he was not allowed in the house. On the day we checked out, he showed up at 8:00am and was on the property the entire time we packed, cleaned and ate breakfast until we left at 11:00. In addition, for 4/6 days we were there, they were clearing the lot next to us of all the trees. We had to listen to 2 chippers and 4 chainsaws all day long. We couldn’t hear each other talk at lunch or dinner. If I could upload a video of it, I would. Randy knew about it and didn’t tell us. We asked him to consider discounting or refunding a night and he didn’t even reply. There is a level of expectation when paying the price we did for a rental and we were extremely disappointed. We have stayed in over a dozen VRBO rentals and this was the weirdest and worst experience we have ever had. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Loved our time at the lake! The home is extremely well equipped with everything you need to have a wonderful summer holiday. The location is perfect. The swimming raft and kayaks are a special bonus that my family enjoyed every day. Bring water shoes to make entry and exit through the water easier.

Our family was incredibly blessed to have stayed in such a beautiful place. Well cared for with lots of room for a family like ours to enjoy.

You could not beat the outdoor space. Right on the lake with a huge backyard! Private beach with a spot for a fire pit right on the beach. Floating dock where you could swim out to or dock a boat. Lots of supplies in the house (dishes, spices, towels). Randy was a great host!

This is by far the best vacation home we’ve stayed at in our vacation rental home history (8+ years). The property is beautiful, the place is well stocked with everything we needed for 3 families with 7 kids from 2-8yo. Everything is thoughtfully procured and placed. Randy is beyond generous and easy to communicate with. In fact, after inquiring whether if he had life jackets before our trip, he went out and got some for us and also 2 kayaks!! In terms of location, it is close to everything you need, and only a short drive away from kelowna and Vernon, as well as the beautiful Wood lake. We are definitely planning an annual trip back here. So thankful to have found this gem.

We stayed at the property for an amazing vacation with our extended family. Every single aspect of the stay was outstanding. The owners were amazing hosts providing fresh vegetables and a bottle of wine at check in. Our family ranged from 5 to 77 and everyone was able to enjoy an amazing stay at the lakefront property. We feel very fortunate to have had such a wonderful time at a exceptional home with all of the amenities. Everyone enjoyed family time, playing games, enjoying the lake, fishing, paddle boarding and having an ideal summer vacation. We hope to be back soon. Thanks again to the amazing owner and his son.

We had a great time in a very comfortable, welcoming environment. There were 11 of us, 5 kids (6 years to 13 years) and 6 adults. The house was very spacious and fully stocked. You only need to bring your clothes and food and any water toys you have. The owner and his sons were very kind and provided great customer service to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The property has a beautiful view of the Okanagan Lake in the heart of Lake Country. There is a lot to do in the area including, biking, going for walks/runs, checking out the wineries, taking in the sights of Vernon, Kelowna and in between -not to mention a very peaceful place to just sit back and relax! We cannot say enough good things about our experience at this property. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week in August at this wonderful lakefront home. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 4 children (ages ranging from 2 yrs to 8 yrs) and it had lots of space for everyone. We really enjoyed the large deck with hot tub and lawn area (the kids loved the hill!). The owners were very easy to deal with and the house was equipped with more than enough indoor and outdoor amenities for when we were not out exploring Kelowna and Vernon. We did find the rooms quite warm on the nights where it wasn't very windy as the house does not have air conditioning. The rooms are all equipped with fans, which helped mitigate some of the heat. Overall, we had a very good family vacation and would come back in the future.

We loved staying in this beautiful lake house ! It was really well located in Lake Country , great wineries close by. The house is very well equipped with everything you need to enhance your vacation. Every bedroom has a comfortable bed and is nicely decorated. We really enjoyed swimming out to the dock followed by a hot tub . It's located in what I think is the nicest part of the Okanagan . We will definitely be back next year!

We had one of the best family reunion vacations we've ever had! We spent a wonderful week at Karen and Randy Ferguson's beach front home on Okanagan Lake. Most of the time there were 3 children aged 10, 6 and 5 and 5 adults (2 of whom were in their 70s) but for 3 nights we had 4 kids and 7 adults. The house fit all of us perfectly! And as far as supplies in the house went we had absolutely everything we needed! Of course we had to buy our own food. The kids spent most of their time in the lake and in the hot tub! Or playing on the spacious front lawn. We could also use the dock that was anchored in the bay and everyone had loads of fun swimming and jumping from that! The kitchen was stocked perfectly and 3 or 4 of us had tons of room to work together in that area. The deck was lovely and had comfortable attractive furniture. There were more than enough beach towels to go around and of course there were ample inside towels as well! The house was large enough and comfortable for all of us. Plus we were close to good hiking and lots of lovely Wineries. The grocery stores were only 10 minutes away by car. To reiterate - we had one of the best family summer vacations we've ever had!

This property was perfect for our entire family getaway! Rooms were large, beds comfy, kitchen well stocked. Loved having the lake right there and trees for shade for my niece (3mths) so we could all enjoy lake side. The house and property were picture perfect and quiet:) The hot tub on the deck was great to finish off each evening. Visited Gray Monk Winerary just down the road and highly recommend it:) Vernon and Kelown are both really close as well so great for afternoon activities of you want. Property manager were very friendly and great to work with. We hope to come back again in the future:)

Such a great lakefront location - I would highly recommend this place! The house is well stocked & was spacious enough for our family of 10. Karen is probably one of the best hosts we have come across in all the VBRO bookings we have made. She was so responsive to all our needs. The washing machine was broken & she came by to pick up our laundry & had it cleaned the next day! Karen & Randy went out of their way to find a replacement for us as well. We really enjoyed having dinner on the patio over looking the lake, making smores in the fire pit right on the beach and the hot tub on the deck after a late afternoon swim! We loved the Lake Country location - it is a great place for rest & relaxation!!
