This condo is in on the third floor of a condo complex that has just two units per floor. The views are incredible, overlooking the ocean directly, just like the photos. The complex has a lovely pool and cabana area and a snorkeling area that has buoys around it to keep the boats away. We didn't try snorkeling but saw some people out there and also saw some scuba divers diving off a boat nearby so expect it must be pretty good. The location is great, about halfway in between town and the Buccanos Beach Club (north of Puerto de Abrigo). We generally were easily able to flag down a taxi right in front (or book ahead for early morning pickup), and it was about $5 US to go to the main part of downtown, so we didn't feel like we needed a car. There are a few units that appear to have full-time residents who are well attuned to who is coming and going so it doesn't seem to be a big party zone, which we liked. There is also a person at the front desk area 24 hours a day, so it felt secure. The condo itself is very large with solid surface floors throughout. The kitchen is spacious and we cooked every day with no problems. They could use an upgrade to the drinking glasses, and remove coffee mugs that are chipped (and if I'm being thorough, add a cheese grater, pasta strainer and veggie peeler), but we had pretty much everything we needed to cook easily, including a toaster, toaster oven, water hot pot for tea, a blender and coffee maker, all of which we used. The master bedroom has a true king-size bed that was very comfortable. Plus two closets so plenty of extra room. The second and third bedrooms have twin beds and each has its own bath--again, plenty of room. There's also a half bath in the main living area. Couch was comfortable for sitting and relaxing and the TV worked fine. The owners have a few things left to make it a 5-star stay (like the glasses and a plumbing issue with the master that hopefully will be addressed very soon), but they were very responsive and communicative. Overall the location, views and building were great and I would stay here again, especially for a week-long stay or more.
