Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo has 2 bedrooms which is great for a family or 2 couples. The condo needs some maintenance by the owner by way of fixing some hinges in the kitchen and in the entrance area, the sisal rug is coming apart, the dishwasher door is bent and does not close too well, the furniture needs deep cleaning (sofa, kitchen chairs, cushions on beds and sofa). The cleaners are probably rushed and likely don’t get allotted enough time to wipe over cupboard doors, light switches, door handles and soap scum in the shower. We gave the place a quick clean on our arrival to attend to those extra areas that were not cleaned. There was plenty of beach gear including beach towels. Free parking and great/friendly security are fantastic. There is a laundry room on level 2 and 7 with one washer and 2 dryers each which is not really sufficient for a facility like this. It would be a better investment for the owner to install a washer and dryer. Overall we liked the property and would stay again. Captain Cook are a great company, they just need to ensure that the owners attend to regular upkeep and allow the cleaners to do a more thorough clean.

Checked in without issue. Host and support team made the process so easy. Just outside of the heart of the action which was fantastic. Just a short walk to the beach and nightlife. Highly recommended!

We recently visited to celebrate a milestone birthday and this property gave us all the space we needed in the best location to enjoy all Waikiki had to offer. It was clean and well laid out plus some handy extras like beach chairs. Full size fridge allowed us to have all the ‘at home’ comforts we required to not have to dine out every meal. Mahalo!

Property worked well for six people. We especially enjoyed the lanai for supper and games night. The fireworks in full view were an added bonus!

We loved the location and layout of this property as well as the management services (big thank you to Paul for being there within minutes when we needed him). Very close to beaches and we most liked the public beach by Hawaii Army museum (3-5 min walk) which was not at all crowded like the private beaches of resorts. The property had everything we needed including beach chairs, snorkel and boogey boards. Our family of 5 was very comfortable during our week long stay and we're happy we chose this VRBO instead of a large resort. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks, Scott family

It was a lovely property and so pleasant to sit on the lanai with a cup of coffee watching the parrots on the palm trees. We really enjoyed staying there!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property had a great location and I was satisfied with my stay there however I wasn't happy with the general condition of the condo. The sofa seemed old based on the condition of the cushions and the sofa bed was not comfortable to sleep in. I also found a candy wrapper under the sofa when the bed was pulled out. The lamp next to the sofa bed couldn't be turned off because the light switch was missing so I had to unplug it to turn off the light. One morning at 5 am there was no electricity to the lights in the bathroom, hallway and kitchen area. I had to take a shower in the dark. When I called about this later on I was told that the circuit breaker turned off and I had to turn the switch back on. After turning on the switch, the switch turned itself off after about 5 minutes. This happened several times before the switch stayed on. Generally speaking, it was not as clean as I would have expected it to be but I'm comparing it to hotel rooms that I've stayed at in Waikiki. On the plus side, it was nice to have 2 bedrooms in the condo and having a dining area to eat when we brought back food.

The location and ammenities were great. I'd say 6 adults might be a little tight for this location, it worked for our party, but would caution other potential guests. The thing keeping this vrbo from receiving 5 stars was that the host never replied to my texts during my stay.

Really enjoyed our stay - 3 min walk to the beach (and less crowded than Waikiki. The apartment was the perfect size for four people and the extra amenities (like beach chairs and umbrellas) were so helpful! Loved our stay!

We had a great experience booking through the property manager. We had ppl coming from al over the US to celebrate birthdays, graduations, and anniversary. Paul was very responsive and helpful. He answered all of our questions immediately and was quick to resolve any issues we had. It made our stay for our very large group of 23 so comfortable and relaxing. Furnishings were up to date and well kept. The little extras made available for the beach were enjoyed thoroughly by all ages in our group.

We loved our rental, it was perfect for our family of four. The place was clean and fully stocked with most things you need: pots and pans, dishes, dishwasher, full refrigerator w/ a freezer, beach toys, and lots of towels. The Regency has on site laundry rooms, and we were even provided laundry detergent! The location is just a couple blocks away from a nice beach, and we even saw fireworks from the balcony on Friday nights! Close to shopping and restaurants, and a quick walk to Waikiki beach, location is great. We will definitely be looking for this place for our next trip to Honolulu!

Great place to stay. It was clean and tidy. Check in was easy and so was checkout. We rented a car to take some day trips and parking was not easy. We had a small child and someone would need to walk a block to parking, get the car and then come pick up. Half the time there was not a pick up spot in front of the condo building, because of sharing with the shops in front. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed it. The Friday fireworks were great from the lanai.

We stayed in Waikiki for a few nights and the location ended up being amazing. Two easy blocks to the beach and one block to shops and restaurants. It was fantastic. Loved it.

Even though we enjoyed a week in Hawaii, we decided to island hop. We only stayed 3 days in Honolulu. Our family enjoyed ever minute of time spent here. The variety of excursions were great. We definitely could have stayed longer. Oh well, we are off to the next island. Enjoy!!

Location of this apartment is excellent. Close to a beach and main shopping. ABC store is right next door where you can buy food, drinks, and other stuff. Balcony is large and has a city view which at night is spectacular. The apartment needs small repairs here and there but overall was in a good condition. The check in was super easy and communication with the manager excellent. If you plan to rent a car, make sure you ask the manager for a parking pass. The parking lot is a short walk away. Parking is super expensive close to the beach. After checkout, we parked on the same lot for 4 hours and it cost us $44. Overall very good experience. Would stay there again
