Very cute, nicely decorated apartment. Bathroom was small, but we made do. Otherwise everything else was great!! Able to walk pretty much anywhere, restaurants, winery, brewery and grocery store

We enjoyed our stay here with our 18mo old toddler. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated and felt surprisingly spacious. We liked being walking distance to most of the Munising highlights. The stovetop took a very long time to heat up and it smelled like the floor had recently been refinished, but neither of those things bothered us too much. We found it well stocked with coffee and spices despite the description :)

This location is perfect. We walked to the coffee shop/bookstore, restaurants, and cute souvenir shop. The apartment is very clean and has a few quirks but nothing negative that effected our stay. It's just an old building. The apartment is decorated so cute, has plenty of window a/c units for the space for summer and a faux fireplace for some extra heat for winter. It feels spacious due to the layout and was absolutely perfect for our families home base. Day trips to hike, kayak and beach it were a breeze with this location. The management company was very attentive and customer service excellent.

We decided to take a road trip and do some outdoor activities for our family vacation this year. We decided on picture rocks. This property was an absolute perfect location! Right in the heart of the city! Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Short drives to hiking spots. Property was exactly as described and very clean. Would recommend and stay again!

This rental was conveniently located right in downtown Munising. We enjoyed walking around town and to the local restaurants and stores. There are even two breweries located nearby. It was a great location for our day trips to Pictured Rock.

While we wanted a very simple rental for our trip, this place was a disappointment. When we arrived late in the evening, the floor of the place was covered in sand. It appears that it was not swept. When I explained this to the company the next day, the offered only half of the cleaning fee back. Lumpy pillows, moldy smell, doorknob that fell off in the bathroom, dirty pots and pans, and poorly functioning wifi are just a few of the issues with this apartment. I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this was easily the worst.

Bathroom door knob kept falling off (vacation journal in the LR shows this has been an issue for some time now)

Great location
We spent most our time exploring the area but this apartment was a great location and we were able to walk to various places in town. Would recommend!

Overpriced. Also didn't have the basics that other VRBO rentals have - there was no coffee, tissues, or any type of kitchen supplies. There was only half a roll of toilet paper. When I texted the property manager, she did bring more.
When my husband sat in the lounge chair, a big handful of foam fell out of the bottom!

Updated apartment, nice and clean in the heart of Munising. We stayed for 4 nights with our family of 5 to explore the lakeshore.

Updated apartment, nice and clean in the heart of Munising. We stayed for 4 nights with our family of 5 to explore the lakeshore.

Apartment is cozy and welcoming. Towels were heavenly. There is construction on the road in front and found the road noise to be quite loud. The shower runs very slowly and the tub has a taped hole. There is no central air but the main room and bedrooms have window units which do a good job cooling. Kitchen was clean. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Loved the walk ability of Munising.

They had a smart tv so I could access my Netflix, etc accounts. The hallway leading to the apartment led me to believe that it was going to be scary (I think it was the smell of old cigarettes) but the apartment was quite modern. The bathroom was nice and the bed was comfy. I would stay again if to come to munising.

Had a little hick-up when checking-in but it was quickly remedied. Overall, it was a nice place for our quick weekend getaway to go check the surrounding ice caves. It was my friend first time staying at a VRBO and he was very pleased with the place.

Great location, homey apartment!
It was a cozy apartment with a nice view! We had plenty of room and the kitchen had good supplies! Our only problem was the hot water in the kitchen took forever to get just warm. The street noise was to a minimum, and the proximity to local stores and the docks was great!

Cute place with a great location!
This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to everything downtown Munising, it is close to the docks, lots of restaurants, bicycle and walking paths. Place is well-stocked with everything needed to cook your own meals. If you have any questions, concerns or issues a call or text will get you an incredibly quick response. The longer we stayed the more we liked this cute little apartment.

Exactly as it looks
The description and photos are an accurate representation of what you can expect if you stay here. You're staying right in town, which was convenient, but the windows look out over the city and not the water. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and we appreciated the basics (oil, salt, etc). It was clean and well-maintained. We were surprised when we woke up our first morning to see that our car was starting to get included in the classic car show, but, in a typical, friendly Yooper fashion, the organizers just chuckled and showed us a convenient spot to park around the corner.
