Had a good time exploring the area. We picked this area being it’s so close to the pictured rock cruise. Unfortunately, for the second time weather didn’t cooperate and canceled the cruise. The rental is in a great location just had an issue with the heat during our stay. However, they were willing to provide a space heater if needed.

We used this apartment as a home base and couldn't have asked for more. Great location, we could walk to all of the places in Munising we wanted to get to and a short drive to so many outdoor adventures. A minor issue with getting into the apartment was handled quickly and professionally. We would definitely rent this apartment again.

Very comfortable apartment with nice furniture, beds,linens and fully loaded kitchen. We used the gas grill on the deck too. Convenient to the Pictured Rocks area, Marquette and easy walking around the town right out the door, and plenty of spots to walk dogs too. We did not realize there were so few places within Pictured Rocks area where dogs are allowed, and so had to leave them home in crates, not just for the boat cruise, but most of the Park trails (and I got a message that they were barking one afternoon...sorry!) Very relaxing to come back to at end of day, or to hang out on some of the bad weather days to watch the smart TV with all the streaming services. We mostly cooked there or brought in take out, so as not to leave the dogs alone. Lots of choices right in town, and a pretty good grocery store. Can't wait to go back!we took the dogs to Miners Falls, one of the few places they were allowed and then went on to various spots all the way to Grand Marais. Had a good dinner at the Grand Marais Tavern. The weather started out warmish but then it did turn chilly, which we loved. the leaves were turning color and the lake was dramatic.

We had a great time during our stay. The property is really cute and clean with a nice balcony and fire pit in the yard which we used on a chilly evening. The location is right in the center of town so we were able to walk around town. The only downside I can say is there are no closets or drawers for your clothes, but you are able to hang things on the back of the bedroom door/kitchen hooks. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great location, clean, modern updates and comfortable for our family of 4. Bedrooms include 1 large king and another bedroom with twin over full bunk. The apartment is cozy and I would not have wanted to stay with more people. Kitchen was well-stocked. The balcony is nice, we used the grill, and the backyard has a firepit and lawn games which the kids loved. It is a 5 minute walk to the Pictured Rocks boat tour and you can walk to lots of restaurants, shops, coffee shops. It is a few minutes to drive to groceries or gas. The apartment is in an older building that was probably all offices so it is not much to look at when you first drive up, but the apartments inside are great! We also did a daytrip to Tahquamenon Falls which you should definitely make time for if you have never been.

The apartment is cozy with a galley kitchen. (Could use a better wine opener, especially with the local winery on the next block.) Lovely balcony with a glimpse of the lake. Good location for local restaurants, grocery store, laundromat, and access to cruises and hikes. Smaller sleeping room could use better curtains to block out hall light. No closets and limited space for clothes if you like to unpack. Nice bathroom.

My husband & I stayed a few days here in June. We really enjoyed the location of this unit. We were able to walk around much of the town instead of driving. It was a quiet place to relax when we didn't have other plans going on. Driving to the national lakeshore, kayaking tour and other areas such as Marquette was easy from this centrally located unit. We ran into the owners a few times. They were friendly & kind. They had us water the plants on the back porch for them since they didn't want to access the unit while we were there. We were happy to do this. The local laundry facility & grocery were both easy to get to as well if needed. I would definitely book this location again when visiting the area. Try Gallery Coffee Co. for a good cup of joe in the morning; you might catch a late-night comedy show as we did as well. Also, recommend By George Brewing & Driftwood Deli on the corner just one building down from this unit. We enjoyed our evenings there with the locals and great grab & go options from the deli for our outings each day.

Great stay here. Apartment was clean, the location was perfect, near restaurants and 2 breweries. Short walk to the water. Our unit had everything needed for the stay and we enjoyed the little electric fireplace - just enough to make it cozy!

This unit is the perfect location and centrally located in downtown Munising so that you can walk everywhere. The apartment is just the right size for our group. This is the second time that we have rented from this property manager and would definitely do so again. My only suggestions would be to provide a few coffee cups for the Keurig and to put up some room darkening shades/curtains on the window on the shared hallway. That room stays pretty lit at night with the hall light on. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Very cute apartment - looks exactly like the photos! Great location! Walking distance to restaurants and Pictured Rock boat cruise. Short drive to most hiking trails. Would definitely stay again! (My only suggestion to the owners is to better stock the kitchen better: a 9x13 pan, full size cookie sheet, colander, and a couple of full size pots, to make a meal for 5 is needed. There was only one small pot and small cookie sheet in the unit.).

The apartment was very nice, cozy and comfortable. The location is great, walking to eateries and breweries. Very close driving to many hiking trails. The only negative would be the shower water temperature, it really didn't get very warm, however, the kitchen faucet was super hot.

Girls weekend
My best friend and I planned a long vacation in Munising. This rental was exactly what we wanted! Great amenities, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and beach. Beautiful location!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this property. The apartment was in a great location in town. Steps to the brewery and most restaurants only a couple blocks away at most. The unit was clean, nicely decorated and true to the photos. Kitchen was well equipped. We loved the balcony/patio as well - even bigger than expected. We would stay again on out next trip up north!
