There are not adequate words to express what an amazing house, location and host support and generosity. The house is beautiful and exactly as described. We will recommend to everyone and will be back. Thank you for everything. Our son’s 21st birthday trip was all we planned and hoped.

Charming, strange old house for people who don’t mind the many issues that come with that. Some in our group loved, others less so. Convenient location but no local ambiance. Limited options for large groups in this part of town. Two back rooms are tiny. Other brs are massive. Steps and balcony are dangerous for seniors. Entire outdoor area was off limits due to repairs. Even the balcony hanging plants were completely brown, it was sad. Hope it is beautiful now.

The house is a New Orlean's classic beauty, located within walking distance of the French quarter. Large comfortable bedrooms with excellent mattress'. Great hangout kitchen area. Nice pool and big hot tub. It was a nice place to come home to!

This was a beautifully restored historic house in a perfect location. The house accommodated my large family comfortably and was the perfect home base for exploring New Orleans.

the property is beautiful we only had wished we had known there was no a/c in the top 2 masters. they did everything they could to fix it but it was a combo of the old house / high ceilings / large windows and heat of NOLA in June that a/c could not keep up. they made it right but would definitely come back in the winter!

Great house and location. This was a perfect house for 8 of us to enjoy NOLA. Walking distance to FQ with a Starbucks and Robert’s Market just a few doors down. Rooms were big, Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you!

The house is nice, well maintained, and plenty of space. There are definitely some quirks with it being a historic home, but that only added to the charm.

The property is just as listed. If you like old charm and unique spaces then this is place for you! Our stay was short so there were no problems with the home other than the tv remotes missing batteries, the doors were left open when we arrived so there were lizards and frogs in the home, the home could stand to be deep cleaned in some areas like handrails and high touch areas (visible dirt on these surfaces).

Pool was great, house was great, only downside was two of the bedrooms AC units weren’t working well and it was hot. Overall it was a great location and home. We were 10 women celebrating for a bachelorette party, ages 25-60.

My cousins & I all flew in for a reunion and were very happy with the home. We loved the grand spaces and large dining area. With 8 of us, only a few needed to share a room and we had plenty of bathrooms too. Was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. We easily walked to all of the best spots and even enjoyed soaking in the pool on the hot afternoons. We are so glad we booked this home and would recommend it again! (We did read the reviews about how one room could only be accessed from the outside balcony, which was fine for us, but might deter some -- so just know that the home is historic, which means some of the staircases aren't quite even, are very narrow, etc. which may be a challenge to elderly or those who have trouble walking but that added to the charm of the home for us.)

Accommodations were great, location ideal. The place was everything and more as advertised. We had 10 guests, 4 couples and 2 singles. The place is advertised as 5 bedroom / 5 bath but actually there is a sixth bedroom with a shared bath. Worked out great for the two singles.

The house was spacious,clean, and well equipped for a large group. Host was easy to communicate with and accommodating. We would definitely book this for our next stay in New Orleans.

This house is absolutely beautiful - just as seen in the pictures. Many of the bedrooms are very large! And there are 6 bedrooms - one is a little hard to find as it's only entrance is from the outside balcony - but easy to get to once you find it! The host was very quick on communication and fixing the minor issues that we had once arriving. The location is great! You get a residential feel but can easily walk to a cafes, the pharmacy and a small grocery store. You are also very close to Frenchman street and a walkable 20 minutes or so to the main section of French Quarter. We loved this house and felt so special to get to stay here and truly feel like we were living the New Orleans dream!

Beautifully restored 1848 historic mansion in a perfect location walkable to everything. Huge bedrooms each with it's own bathroom and very comfy mattresses. There was talk amongst my friends of making this a yearly rendezvous location :)

A group of friends stayed here to enjoy time together and explore NOLA. We absolutely loved the location. Great local options a stones throw away, 10 minute walk to Frenchmen St. bars and 20 minute walks to heart of NOLA tourism. We greatly enjoyed the atmosphere of the accommodations. We knew in booking this home that there weren't too many consumable amenities such as shower soaps or pool towels, which was fine but could be a goal for this property in the future. Overall, it worked very well for our group.

My friends and I all had a great stay at this landmark manor. Michael was quick to respond to any of our questions. Would highly recommend this as well as any other of his properties.

My husband, two kids, and parents rented this house for my fortieth birthday, and it was AMAZING! I have rented many VRBO homes over time, and let me tell you, this is among the best. First, the house itself is beautiful. Lots of old charm, wonderful porches, huge bedrooms, up-to-date appliances, and space for entertaining. My kids were in the pool/hot tub the entire time, which was wonderful because I could see them through the many glass doors surrounding the interior patio. The back of the house is separated from the front, and there's an entirely unconnected (giant) bedroom off of a porch in the center of the house. Because of this, we were all able to both have our own separate (and luxurious) space and then come together in the beautiful and well appointed common areas. Note that there are 6 bedrooms - the description says 5 in places. The location is also awesome. It's right around the corner from Frenchman Street and an easy walk to the French Quarter. Such a great trip. I would rent this home again in a heartbeat.

We were extremely satisfied with this property which encompasses all of NoLa history. The management company personnel were professional and delightful to work with. Check in and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend!

House was very big. Quiet neighborhood. Mixed old New Orleans with modern. Was about a 10 minute walk to French quarter.

Wow wow wow. We were all amazed and romanticized by this gorgeous house! Ten of us stayed and all ten of us consider this house to be one of the top highlights of the trip. We travel to New Orleans often and cannot wait to stay in this house again. The space is so charming the way it's been decorated with many antiques and moody colors. Very Victorian / modern eclectic. Nice touch with the art throughout and the articles in the foyer! The pool heats which was a nice surprise since this trip was during the coldest month of the year. The hot tub works and alone would be good enough, but the pool too? Awesome. The beds are all very comfortable. The bedrooms are all incredibly spacious. There are multiple rooms to hang out in with a large group. The kitchen is set up for two chefs. The front porch and upper balcony are so charming. The house was extremely clean where it counts. The neighborhood is one of my favorites to stay in. This is a quiet street, but walking distance to all the action. There was construction across the street while we were there, but I didn't hear it at all. I also didn't hear any noises from my friends in their rooms, which is unexpected in these old houses - what a treat. The only critique (which I share constructively as a fellow short term rental manager and definitely wouldn't deduct any stars for)= more bath towels (we only had one per person), pool towels (there were none), kitchen towels (none), soap and extra shower amenities (no soap in bathrooms, and only small amount of shampoo etc), and lastly it would be great for the turnover crew to have a checklist for each room so they can make sure each tv has a remote and each bathroom has towels and each beautiful piece of furniture is dusted/cleaned properly for longevity etc. This house is so big and maze-like I can see how this can be sooo easily overlooked. Thanks for sharing this beautiful property and we are so excited to stay here again!

The house is a lovely old home in a good location for tourists. The only negatives were upon arrival the heat didn't work in the only downstairs bedroom, kitchen, and breakfast room. This was fixed the next morning though it was freezing cold in that area the first night. The shower head was on the floor of the shower in one bedroom. This could not be fixed because the part to fix the shower was not available. The icemaker never worked though the handyman brought two bags of ice. The pool and hot tub were dirty and covered with leaves the first two days, but then the pool service came and the pool and hot tub were fine for the other days. The owner offered to refund my money when I complained. However, it was too late to rent another house for my family of nine persons by the time we arrived in New Orleans and discovered the problems. He did give me a refund of $646 to compensate for all of the problems. The house was great for my family in spite of all of its issues. I would recommend that before renting the house that the renter check with the owner to make certain that the house is in perfect condition as it is a great house in a great location.
