Owner was very prompt replying to any questions I had. Due to an early fight, was very accommodating in providing an early check in.

It is private, convenient, very quiet and, amazingly, free of light pollution, which is a rare , in not impossible, find in the city. You have a very well appointed kitchen, from pots to knives to dishes. Your house is one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. I would return to this location, again and again.

Historic Home
The home itself and neighborhood it is in are wonderful. We enjoyed the home, but feel that the maintenance of the home on some small things are lacking. When we arrived the house was at 84 degrees and AC wasn’t working because the battery was low on the Thermostat. We had to go out and purchase batteries after just arriving from a 10 hour trip. We also discovered a broken bed, which we needed to use because there was 6 of us so we just pulled the mattress to the floor to use. I notified the host of these issues. The host responded kindly and quickly with an apology. The dishwasher still had dishes in it. At first I thought it hadn’t been unloaded, but discovered they were dirty and moldy. We just threw two tabs in and ran it. We didn’t touch it after that and just hand washed the dishes we used. We brought our own towels because of another review. I’m glad we did. I would like to throw in that you should also bring a roll or two of toilet paper with you, as we arrived to almost empty rolls. As for the unit below being rented, we only saw the car in the evening and early morning. I don’t believe the home has a direct connection to the other unit. As far as we could tell all of the doors in the part we rented lead to outside. Overall, this experience could have been close to 5 stars if we were given more information of what we were arriving to (broken bed, bringing your own towels & TP) the thermostat having the batteries replaced, and the dishwasher being ran and unloaded.

The house is on an old style and I love that about the house it is roomy the pictures doesn't do it justice. The neighborhood and neighbors are quiet and friendly. The property is like ten minutes from downtown. Would I rent this property again definitely.

He has someone living in the house which is against the rules for the host to do plus it was like hell to get my money back after we had to re book considering we’re traveling with kids and not sure of the Man’s background who lives at the property not comfortable with that at all….. the house is out dated and all the bedrooms don’t have tv….Don’t go

Quiet and Convenient Atlanta House
The house was in a quiet neighborhood, but close to I-85 and easy access to downtown. Spacious four bedrooms, modestly furnished. Host was super-quick about responding to questions. Check-in and check-out were easy. A very reasonably priced rental in a desirable location.

The house was nice, bathrooms recently updated, large bedrooms. Not sure if it's due to Covid but there is no salt, pepper, seasonings as we have had at other properties.

The furnishings were adequate, but not arranged well. Only 3 sets of towels even though the house sleeps 8-9. The kitchen was poorly equipped - would be hard to do much cooking. We thought there were only 3 drinking glasses until we discovered more in the china cabinet in the dining room. Dishwasher had not been unloaded when we arrived. Lockbox was a bit hard to open when we arrived late at night.

We only found out by message when we checked in after driving all day. After doing some research that night I discovered a competitor's website for the same listing does mention the tenant. If we had known that before we would have chosen another property. And even though we only saw the tenant once we did hear him all weekend. We were only separated by two interior doors with old doorknob locks which were a little unsettling for all of us at night and I did not sleep. Having another tenant does make it difficult for parking if you have two cars, but if it is any consolation he does take care of his car.
Is the place clean?
The floors seemed vacuumed, and the linens were clean, The bath towels are very thin and small so be prepared and bring your own. The kitchen was not clean. There was food residue all over the counters and some dishes, they all had to be cleaned with Lysol wipes and the dishwasher before we used them. Old ice cream in the freezer was a surprise, LOL along with the two pans filled with water under the counter. We were not sure if the pans were there because of a leak so we left them in place and just did take-out the entire trip. Should I keep going? The showers had dirty stuff in the soap dishes old shampoo bottles and the plastic drain covers. This of course should all be removed or thrown out. So during our stay, we only used the master bath for showering as to not have to clean two baths on our short trip.
Safety?
As for safety besides the guy living downstairs. There were a few electrical faceplates missing, along with a doorknob to the master bathroom which are easy fixes for the owner, but they did say the home was getting renovated. The home had smoke alarms throughout the upstairs but I could not tell if all were working. Did not see a Carbon detector, but I always bring a travel smoke/carbon detector when we rent a house.
Well, that's all I got, and other than that it's a real bargain in a great neighborhood close to everything, enjoy.
