We really enjoyed our stay. You must have a 4-wheel drive, but once you're up the windy road it's flat. Easy loading and unloading - no stairs.
The one gotcha is with this Vermont bear and compost thing. You need to separate food from general trash which is a hassle loading a bucket in the refrigerator with anything listed on their triple laminated instruction manual. Other than this minor preventive measure to keep nuisance bears out of garbage cans, it's worth the safety precaution.
Everything was perfect! Plenty of room for your family.

Beautiful property. It must have been recently remodeled as every detail was thoughtfully planned. Right down to new hangers in every closet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again when we are back in the area.

Great house in a great location. The only issue we found on the cold weekend the wall units were not keeping the house warm enough and we all had to bundle up.

Best condo in the area
We went skiing during the week. This condo was beautiful, comfortable and affordable- a place you’d want to live in. It’s at the very top of the mountain- views are great, close to the stars. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home in a quiet location.
Renting a home for a week has been an almost annual ritual for our large family. This year we had the best home and location that allowed us to both spread out, and spend time together. The location was remote and very quiet, but a short drive to restaurants and shopping in
Ludlow and Killington. We love hiking & there are many beautiful trails in the area. My wife says it was the best stocked house we ever stayed at. I was happy to be in Vermont with it’s great beer, cheese, and everything maple...and mountains!

We spent the weekend with friends and did not expect this home to be as gorgeous as it was. The pics online do not do it justice. I have rented several houses and this one by far was the most stocked in the kitchen, plenty of space to cook and socialize, we loved it so much that we spent both nights eating in. The fireplace in the living area and master were amazing. Another plus were the decks on every level, so much space to relax I wish we could have stayed a week. Another nice touch this home has is something unique in every nook and cranny from an old fashioned sewing machine, books to bears, a chest with reading material from the 1800's and a few other items. An amazing weekend in an amazing house, you won't be dissapointed

We have been renting this house for the holiday week since 2004. This year the temperatures hardly left sub-zero the entire week. Nonetheless, we had great time reading, playing cards cooking meals and sharing each others company while enjoying the snow covered vistas outside.

We needed a convenient, 4-bedroom home for a few nights' stay, and this home at Hawk met and exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything a visiting family might need. It was a pleasure to take in fall colors from its many windows. The rental process -- from reservation and check-in to departure -- was terrific. Pre-vacation notices and other info were very helpful. We'll likely ask this property manager to handle all our future visits as well.

This is a great vacation home--nicer than expected and very spacious. Very convenient for a big group because of the number of bathrooms. It is up on a mountain, so a bit difficult in the snow and a drive to the slopes. A copy of the map earlier would have been appreciated.

The cabin was exactly as advertised, and a decent price for what we got. Beautiful area. However, they listed it as a private house for rent on the various websites, only to pull a bait & switch and privately message you to ask that you book with them on their management company privately. Rather unethical, in my mind. But besides that, everything else was great.
