Ms. Lin was beyond gracious, with great communication and offering of tips and hints to enjoy the island. Her hospitality were above and beyond. Chocolate Chip was the perfect place for our family of 4. Ms Lin makes sure you will be comfortable and the view is beautiful. This is on the same bay as the Westin, but is much more desirable and affordable. The kayaks and pool area were a great bonus. Would love to return sometime.

The property is awesome, easy to find, close to everything you would want to do yet you are in your own little world. From the pool to the water access to the iguanas, this feels like home. Another big part of this feeling is because of Lin(owner), she is very kind and welcoming. She is helpful with information and suggestions of things to do and see. We can’t see a reason for us to stay anywhere else in future trips to the island. Thank you Lin for making our trip simply awesome!

My family and I have been traveling to St John for many years. I was looking for a place not directly in Cruz Bay but with a car would only be a 5–10-minute drive. This was the best location and wonderful accommodations. Lin the host was very nice helpful and enjoyable to speak with. I would definitely stay here again. Tina

This was an absolutely perfect spot for my family (myself, my husband, 4 year old and 2 year old). For our family of 4 the living space was great and for toddlers there was a high lock on the main door that went outside so we didn't have to worry about them at night. We were able to spread out easily and slept very comfortably. There were several spaces to sit, relax and eat both inside and outside, absolutely stunning views of the harbor. a pool that kept the kids entertained for hours, a really really cool iguana tree next to the pool (also a very cool thing for the kids) and easy access via a path on the property to walk to the water and throw a kayak in. The house is elevated so even though the rental is on the lower level you still get views of the bay right out of the many windows lining the living space. You are only about 8 minutes from town at this location but it feels out of the hustle and bustle yet plenty close enough to a grocery store (just 4 min by car) and just a short drive to several amazing beaches. The owner, Lin, was so incredibly helpful and responsive with everything. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back! Getting to stay here was a highlight!

This little property is absolute perfect. Loved the landscape and the little “secret” passage to the water was my favorite. Lin was an absolute sweetheart . I really enjoyed chatting with her. We will defiantly be staying here again.

Lin was such a wonderful host! The rental was perfect for our two boys ages 4 & 7 they loved the pool which had great view of the ocean. There was a lovely little path that went down to the waters edge with lots of lizards and iguanas climbing the trees. The rental was also very easy to find and a short drive to downtown Cruz Bay. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place

Chocolate Chip was perfect for my 18 year old son and I. Lin was a wonderful host making sure we had everything we needed and very helpful answering questions. The tropical property is on a beautiful bay with several sailboats right around the bay from the Westin resort. We had a large deck with pool just for us that looked out on the bay. We ate out for all meals except breakfast but the place offered a small frig, toaster oven, microwave and she offered a hot plate if needed. We loved exploring the property with gorgeous tropical plants and flowers and finding the iguanas in the trees. We didn’t want to leave.

This is a charming apartment but could use a couple of ceiling fans since it gets quite hot at night and air does not circulate very much. Could also do with a long couch in the living room. Otherwise very likable. We had a fine stay.

I forgot to pack bug spray, which was def needed, but otherwise everything went perfectly. Highly recommend.

A few girlfriends and I stayed for a long weekend trip and could not have been happier with our experience. Lin was an exemplary host and the property is absolutely stunning. Before we even arrived at the property, Lin was in touch with details on the trip and provided very helpful suggestions on what to bring and how to make the most of our visit. During our stay, Lin and her friends provided thoughtful recommendations about activities for the group and even helped us find alternative plans when our boat trip fell through. The space itself was well equipped, with access to a pool and grill while still maintaining its privacy from the rest of the house. The trip was exactly as envisioned and we look forward to hopefully making a return trip next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house - very well maintained, beautiful pool and view, comfortable, and great location. The host and local property manager were extremely helpful and responsive. We could not have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again.
