Overall this was a very clean and well maintained property. Instructions were clear. Communications with the host was straight forward and responses were timely before, during and after our visit.
We accidently left our computer charging cord at the house and the host immediately returned it to us.

House was great for our family gathering for events in Grand Rapids and Holland. Obviously a lot of thought and care went into the home. State of the art kitchen and the two levels allow for privacy as well as spots where group can come together. Highly recommend.

The house was lovely close to where we needed to be. Love Holland and I am going back next year and will love to stay at the same house ! Very clean and homey.

So enjoyed the accommodations. Holland Heights was extremely convenient to downtown Holland and Hope College, which was where we spent most of our time.
We only had 4 members in our party but the house had plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommend.

We loved the home! It was very clean, decorated well, beds slept way too well (very very comfy), all the amenities you could ask for and so much attention to detail went into making this feel like a home away from home.
Great communication with the owner. He does live next door, but which one? I know!

Property was nice and clean. Everything we needed was pretty much in the house - nice TV’s in all the bedrooms and only about 8 min from downtown. I was pleased to know the bed duvet covers are washed after each stay.

Very friendly owner who was helpful in providing local recommendations and very quick to respond to any questions. House was clean and well maintained. No complaints at all. About a 10 minute drive to downtown Holland. Meijer nearby for anything you might forget to bring.

I gotta agree with everyone else’s comment. The host keeps the place spectacular clean. I could say this place is cleaner than most of the hotels in USA. The location is in a safe area and so close to downtown,highways exists. It only takes less than 10mins to downtown/ Meijer, Aldi are within 5mins.House is fully equipped with towels, beddings , kitchen stuff. Host- James is very responsive. During our stay, the weather was cool and hot from day to day. James was very accommodating with our request on switching between AC/heating. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this little cute town.

Our family stayed at James’ house during our vacation for Tulip Time and it was an excellent experience. With how busy this time of the year is in Holland, this place was a quiet, comfortable place for us to come back to each day. Everything we wanted to visit was a short drive away. The house made it much easier for us to travel with our 2 year old son! Thanks for a great stay!

This is a very well decorated, comfortable, and cozy place to stay! The house sits in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, while it is located just down the street from the downtown Holland area where there are shops, restaurants and everything that you need! I loved staying here and James is an awesome host! I needed to work remotely for a couple days that I stayed there, so James went out and bought a monitor for me to use with my laptop so that I would be more comfortable and could see the screen better! I would say that was above and beyond! 😊

We loved this house for our yearly sister in law weekend. It was perfect for all 6 of us! The house is beautiful, cozy and very clean! The beds and pillows were the best! The host was very helpful when we had issues with the TV, we aren't very techie. He was very quick to respond to any question we had! We would recommend this house to our friends and family or anyone visiting Holland. It was close to the stores we needed and found a couple of great restaurants close by. Thanks for an enjoyable place to stay!

The house was as advertised: very clean, comfortable, and home-like. While a lot of rentals seem like they were decorated and furnished piecemeal from second hand stores or garage sales, this home seemed as if they owners had decorated and furnished the home like they had planned to live there themselves.
The house wasn’t exactly in the center of the activities for the area, but a short 15 - 20 minutes drive got us everywhere we wanted to go.
We would definitely stay there again!

We chose the home on Jennifer because of the central location to Holland Zeeland and the wedding site. It worked out perfect! The home itself was very nice and a good size and design for all staying at the house. Would recommend this home to anyone looking to visit Holland or Hope College.

Wedding Weekend
My groomsman and I stayed in this property the night before my wedding. My wife and I then stayed there the rest of the weekend. The place was perfect! Everything was super clean and rooms were updated and nice. James was incredible with communication and making sure everything was ready for us. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Holland!

Our stay at this property was wonderful, the house was excellent, very clean and had everything you could want. We appreciated the extra little touches in the bathroom, the makeup removing cloths, a nice touch. The beds were so comfortable. We would definitely love to stay there again. There was only one Uber when we were there but a few different cab services. We called and scheduled our cab pickup time which we are so thankful we did or we wouldn’t of gotten a ride back.

THND is a must stay!
Property was very accommodating with every amenity needed for my family of 4 and could have brought more with us. The owner had great communication throughout our stay and offered some great suggestions for spots to check out. Super clean and updated and lots of comfortable spaces to spread out. I don't know if I could ever settle for a hotel room again!

Girls weekend away
We were thrilled when we walked into this beautiful home which is next door to the owner. Extremely handy for snow removal and questions . He had the driveway all clean when we arrived, the house is immaculate , beautifully appointed and included well furnished bathrooms, spices etc in kitchen , fantastic fluffy towels and cuddle blankets in both living rooms. We couldn’t have found a more perfect place for our weekend getaway. I know we’ll be back as the area has lots to do and see. Thank you James for such a great experience. Jacquie

Best Trip I've Ever Booked!
There are not enough words to describe this rental! My friend needed to be in town for a Wedding related event and the owner was super understanding and was BY FAR the easiest and most kindest owner I've ever had to work with. The house was so beautiful and so cozy - all of us felt right home at The House Next Door ❤️
