Everything was perfect! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 was it could have used a bit of a deeper clean, all the corners of the rooms had dirt. The beds are very comfortable! I do not like that they dont clean the bed comforters between guests either. The house and back yard are perfect!

This was the perfect setting for our quick trip to Philly for a remembrance ceremony. The house was spotless and comfortable (my 8 year old son asked if we could buy it 😂) and the neighborhood was peaceful. I was worried about the on street parking but there was plenty of room. Thank you!

Our family of five stayed at this property and all our needs were met. The check-in process was easy and after we got there, we discovered there were not enough towels, so after I called Katelyn, she very quickly remedy the situation. Katelyn was very easy to work with, answered all our questions, and checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and definitely was true as it was advertised and perfect for our family. We will definitely look into staying here again in the future.

My fiancée and I rented this property from Monday-Wednesday with our 4 children. Check in and out was super easy. House was very spacious, the only downside was the bathrooms were super tight. I love that we were able to bring our fur-baby with us, too. The yard had quite a bit of foliage but our kids made the best ninja moves with them (including stick yoga). Overall I’d rate it a 4 out of 5. Would love to rent again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this house! Check in was a breeze and the house was cozy and inviting, and as described. We had an issue with the internet not working but were able to reset the router, which fixed the issue. The host responded promptly about this issue. A few issues we ran into: there were only 3 towels even though we booked the home for 5 people. There was a letter board upon entering which had some foul things posted, assuming this was from the prior tenants - but was a little odd to see first thing. We went to make coffee in the morning, and the Keurig did not work. We also noticed the vents were extremely dusty - easy to miss but the details do matter for rentals. Also two other more informational things - the steps out front do not have any type of rail to hold onto. This was difficult for my mother as she has a bad knee from an accident a few years ago. There also is a part of the stairs inside the house that does not have a rail - this made it difficult for my mother and toddler daughter to safely use the stairs. Also, the bathrooms are very small - just a note! it was not a problem for us, but could see it being an issue for others. Overall we would recommend this property, but request a few changes to be made!

This home was a gem to find. The historic brick and modern updates made it a unique and wonderful place to stay. The property was clean, beds comfortable, amenities as described. The children’s garden and Lending Library next to the property added to the charm. The host was quick to respond with one question we had. We would definitely stay here again!

This property ran out of hot water after 1 shower. The toilet wasn't flushing. There were miles of dust and even some trash under the beds. We contracted to rent for 6 people and were provided 3 towels. I alerted the owner to the issues. She came over and made accusations and was very hostile. I've never seen that. Usually owners are apologetic and resolve problems. This one accused us of being the problem, like we traveled across country to not have hot water and were making it up. She let us know that she and her brother have a lot of properties and are all about the money. I needed a shower after my conversation with her, because she was so misanthropic and creepy. Only there was no hot water!! I had to shower at family members' homes during my stay. What a mess! STAY AWAY from any of her/her brother's properties.

This house is absolutely precious and even cuter in person. It was perfect for our little friend retreat!

This was a lovely home that had everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. A Very well appointed house, with all the amenities we needed. Great location, walkable to coffee/bagels etc. The communication with our host was absolutely top notch. This is a 5 star rental and we will be back anytime we're in this area.

Nice neighborhood! Really nice backyard. Check in was easy. House had everything we needed and was comfortable. The only complaint is no stair rails for very steep, narrow stairs.

The property was well maintained and check in was very easy. The door had a keypad so no need to bother with a key. The house is definitely a historic home (we come from the west coast). I really liked the addition of the living/bistro space. The stairs to the upstairs was pretty steep and there were not handrails all the way down so if you have older people or young kids just be aware. My kid loved the bunk bed room. The top floor bedroom has two ways to access it, each through one of the bedrooms. The day bed room has a spiral staircase up to the top floor room and there is no door so those two rooms hear one another. There is also a steep stairway down from that top floor room to the master bedroom. Just be warned if you are traveling with people that need privacy. It wasn't an issue for us since we are a family. We were visiting friends in Ambler and this was the nicest looking house on VRBO in the area that fit our needs. Quiet neighborhood and parking right out front on the street. Bathrooms are compact. Kitchen had the basics but we would have appreciated a few large mixing bowls or serving bowls and bigger dish towels. Upstairs hall window was missing a shade. Master bedroom could use a bedside table lamp and the living room could have used a little more lighting as well. Small things that would make it even better. We'd definitely stay again.

The house was exceptionally comfortable and a great base to explore the area.

We loved the property - really nice house in terrific neighborhood that allowed us to walk almost anywhere in town. Comfortable home located next to a cute little “Children’s Garden” park. The house is well equipped and has a nice deck in the rear and a front porch that’s a great spot for morning coffee. Several places to eat or get take-out food nearby and an easy walk to the train station with service to Center City Philadelphia. Highly recommended.

We planned a weekend girls trip to check out Peddlers Village, which was about a 30 minute drive from the home. There were four of us so we all could have our own bedrooms. The only downside to the bedrooms was there was one without a ceiling fan and one with bunk beds which made it hard to feel the ceiling fan on the bottom bunk, which was a minor issue because we all tend to be hot. The house had a lot of space and charm, we really did like it and the outside was very nice and quiet to hang out in the evening. It was also in a nice neighborhood, I would definitely recommend.
