The room was very clean and comfortable. Location placed us within walking distance of the downtown pedestrian area. The staff was very helpful and communicated promptly and courteously. We experienced some street noise so took advantage of the sound machine provided. We were particularly happy with the helpfulness of the staff.

This was a great place to stay for 1-2 people who wanted to be close to the action of State Street. I walked everywhere from here. Street parking was easy to find and I never had to move my car Wednesday to Saturday. Lots of restaurants, theaters, and a small market are within walking distance. I appreciated having a mini fridge and Keurig for morning coffee.

The location is wonderful and street parking is fine. Facilities and amenities are wonderful. I would have appreciated a table to sit at and eat but there is no room in that unit for a table (I did see one in 6C). Instructions on setting up the TV would have been helpful. Communications before and during my stay were very helpful. Not having a key, but a combination was very handy. Nice place.

I had requested a kitchen. What you had was a refrigerator, sink and microwave. What would have been helpful would be a table to sit at and eat. There is only the little desk against the wall in this unit. I saw an adjacent unit that did have a table. Everything was clean and well appointed and it even had toiletries and supplies, which was very nice. I would have also appreciated some instructions for setting up the Smart TV. It's in a nice part of town . Parking on the street wasn't too hard. Hosts were available to help when things went wrong or I had questions. On balance it was good.

It is close to everything, the location is prefect!! Everything was nice and clean. Parking is on the street in the neighborhood but it is really easy to find somewhere to park! My only complaint is that you do hear people walking above you all the time even late at night and early morning & if you’re a light sleeper you’ll wake up in the middle of the night to people walking or moving things around for whatever reason. Other than that it is a nice place to stay.

We absolutely loved our little getaway at Casa Valerio! It exceeded our expectations! Everything was modern, thoughtful and super comfy. Highly recommend this place as it is super convenient to the heart of Santa Barbara.

Our stay was wonderful. We were in town for a concert at the Arlington Theater which is walking distance from the room. We were able to enjoy all the shops restaurants and bar and simply walked back to our room when the night was done. The place is super cute and very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Huge bed and TV, perfect for a few days in SB! Upon arrival in SB the vrbo app was glitching and wasn't showing our booking. I managed to find an email and call the property and they were really helpful.
The code pad on the door wasn't working due to rain and when I called them they were helpful in letting me know instructions for the lockbox.
They provide tea and coffee, and there's a very small fridge that we used for the few days we were there.
Walkable. We even took a nice walk back all the way from the botanical garden.

The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, everything worked, nicely decorated and in a part of town that is quiet but just min away from downtown. Communication was great and timely. I had everything I needed before I arrived at the property. I would easily stay here again

Lovely stay very close to downtown. The room had many nice updates and was comfortable. Really appreciate that it was dog friendly. The host is extremely communicative and understanding. The only bummer is that you can hear guests above you if you’re in a bottom unit. It’s not a big deal unless you have people who are loud. Would bring earplugs or sleep with your ipods in. On a plus, when I let the host know of an issue, they responded and took care of it. Thanks!

I stayed at Casa Valerio for 1 night during my road trip from LA to SF after thanksgiving holidays! I found all I need there and service provider is top! only one thing is the chk in time which is quite too late ;)

Clean and new studio in a great spot right off state.
Only drawback is we had neighbors with barking dogs until midnight.
It’s great we could bring our dog but our neighbors must have not cared about leaving their dogs alone.
Otherwise would stay again.

This is a nice, compact space that is really well designed and located right off State Street E side of 101. It’s in a nice neighborhood and we loved the cute little patio along with the beautiful interior. Best of all they take 1 pet! It’s hard to find pet friendly places that are so nice!

The bed spread was dirty in two very obvious places which made me doubt the sheets were actually changed / clean. The tables were covered in dust.

Only here for a night and wished I had booked longer it was such a cute/clean property. There is no need to meet with any property managers/front desk receptionist as they give you all the info to get in/leave on your own ahead of time. There were a variety of extras in the room such as makeup wipes, earplugs, dishes , and more! Highly reccomend :)

This space and location were perfect for the two days/1 night we spent in SB. I was worried about the street parking but we found a spot in front of the Casa every time. The small patio is great for a snack or glass of wine. Inside the kitchenette had everything we needed for a quick snack or morning coffee. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets soft. There are thoughtful touches like beach towels, ear plugs, and an extra blanket if you get cold. Public Goods bath products smell amazing and contribute to a spa-like feel in the bathroom. The Casa was fully booked when we were there but the sounds from other units were minimal, and the street was quiet when we were there, so we enjoyed a quiet peaceful stay. I'll definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect downtown location. Unit was very clean and well equipped. We were in the bottom unit and did not have any noise issues as other reviewers shared. We would def stay there again.

Wonderful place
The apartment is exactly as advertised. The decor is modern and clean. Great location, convenient and safe. Only issue is the check in is late (4pm) and there are no options for early check in, even when the apartment has already been cleaned and is ready for the next guest. Outside of this, everything was great. I highly recommend.

The property is great, it’s exactly as shown in the advertising. It’s modern, clean and in a safe and convenient location.
Only cons are it’s a late check in with accommodations for an early check in, which I knew before I reserved it. But I sat outside for at least an hour waiting to get in. The cleaners had finished much earlier, so it was possible but the managing company are not very accommodating.

Decent
Upon arrival we noticed that the bathroom was not cleaned. The toilet and shower looked as if they had not been cleaned for weeks. I reached out to the host and they got someone to come and clean it right away. Everything else was good. One thing that would really make the stay better is to have a microwave.

Beautiful room on State Street
This Airbnb is extremely convenient to downtown Santa Barbara, located right on State Street. The room is really well decorated and feels like you’re staying in a hotel. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. My only criticism is that the people above me had a party both nights of my stay, which even with earplugs in, kept me awake until nearly 130a. If you get good renters above you then this place is fantastic!
