We stayed the weekend in Surf City to see the Scotty McCreery and we had a blast! Rob is the best host! He provided excellent suggestions on where to eat and activities. The unit was clean and in perfect condition. Communication was excellent and check in/out was easy. Will definitely stay again!

The listing accuracy is sort of incorrect. For me it was less than 2 minutes to the beach, but maybe I walk faster than most.
Clean condo. Well appointed. 1 mile walk up the beach to a couple good restaurants (and bars). Best long weekend I've had in a long time.

We came down in October to visit Topsail Island for the first time. Rob, who is Topsail resident, hosted us and did an amazing job. He took the time to show us around the island and took us on a personal Island Tour showing as all the local hotspots! It was amazing! The hospitality was something of a 5 star resort. The condo we stayed in was clean and cozy with views of the morning sunrise over the ocean and a 50 yard walk to the beach! We have stayed many places on the east coast through rental shares and this was one of the top visits on our list! Thanks Rob!

I needed a couple days to read a book, decompress from work, and just listen to the waves. This place was exactly what i needed. The place was clean and in a nice location. Location was perfect. Apartment was very clean, very well stocked, lots of room. Very safe while at room or on the beach. View to ocean was limited but the easy access to beach and pool well made up for it. Lots of nice items to use on beach in lower level storage. Vehicle parking under unit was perfect for loading/ unloading and kept vehicle out of direct wind, sand, rain. Rob was excellant, gave us alot of good suggestions where to eat and explore. Also appreciated him meeting us the first day as we had never stayed in his listing before. He was so kind to "show us the ropes". He even kept us informed to weather conditions as our last day was during a tropical storm. We would recommend Rob and his listing to anyone, couples or a family, as it has the fun of a beach vacation and the convience of being in a home-like surroundings.

This was our first time in Surf City, loved the small town feel. Condo host was fantastic communicating information about the place and about the area. Would highly rate this place and hope to return soon.

Host very accommodating and pleasant. Beach close with hose access nearby. Nicely decorated and furnished. Great location. Quiet. Recommend Beach Island restaurant down on S. Anderson Blvd for top class dining and cocktails.

As a frequent traveler in the recent days, I’ve been very particular on where i decide to stay. Rob made everything so seamless & hassle free. Before the trip he provided plenty of activities and things to do while there, which definitely came in handy! Condo was clean and fully stocked with everything you could ever ask for. Location was amazing and everything was really cozy! It really felt like a home away from home! I really wish i would’ve stayed longer! I will repeat with Rob forever now. He is the perfect host, everyone should be more like him! He just turned a needed vacation into what’s now gonna be a family tradition! I am forever grateful!

We are lucky to have found this beach gem. It was perfect for our qettaway; lovely decor, comfortable furniture, very clean, and convenient access to the ocean. By far the most positive experience we have ever had booking a vacation rental in Topsail! Rob’s attention to details made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!

You can’t ask for a better host than Rob! He will be the standard for me now. We weren’t familiar with the area and he helped us navigate our plans and anticipated our needs.
I highly recommend a 3 night minimum so you have time to enjoy the beach and everything on the island.
The view from the living room was breathtaking. Being so close to the beach allowed us to go back and forth easily and often. The complex felt safe and clean. The condo was just as comfortable as expected.

Rob is a top notch host with a wonderful place!! Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Easy check in/check out. You simply can’t beat the location. A minute walk to the beach or pool. This is great for anybody, but especially great if you have kids. We found lots of shark teeth, saw a sea turtle release, built sandcastles, enjoyed the zero entry pool (also great for those with littles!), and enjoyed all our favorite restaurant spots.

Quick trip husband and I before picking up our son at MCAS New River, NC just 30 minutes away! Top notch host, extremely available and knowledgeable. Visited Missiles & More Museum , must see for WWII buff. Beach short walk away, condo with balcony overseeing dunes for beautiful view while having a cup of coffee or tea! Nice covered parking with variety of beach chairs to use!

Revisited the area after a 30-year absence I used to live in the area and now went back with my family to visit Old Friends. The owner was outstanding on top of the reservation from the moment we place it until a day after checking on us constantly making sure we had everything. He managed to do all this while going through a significant personal matter it did not change the fact that he made sure we were well taken care of. The swimming pool was huge and very warm relaxing the beach was just a few short steps away and a beautiful view. can't imagine renting anywhere else after this experience.

We had an amazing time! Rob was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. He was super communicative. Check-in was a breeze and he responded to me before our trip and checked on us during. The property had pretty much everything! We can’t wait to return to Rob’s place because of the location to the water and how easy and pleasant he made it!

The condo was clean and well stocked with everyday items. Nicely located, with everything you may want to do close by. There are very few places that offer a beachfront and a swimming pool in the area, which is while we’ll be back. Rob, the owner is on top of everything and there is no lack of communication, if there was title above Superhost, it would be his. Thanks for an enjoyable, stress free stay.

We had a great time at Rob’s condo. Highlights were close to the beach, covered parking with storage, and beach chairs. The condo was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water and pressure and the kitchen was very well stocked. Rob was excellent in his communications. This was a great stay. The actual place is probably only a 4 (needs some repairs which were currently being worked on) but the location and how helpful the owner Rob was easily make this a 5. Beach is right outside and just a short walk to the pier area with all of the restaurants and tourist areas. Rob couldn't have been a better host as well. Very responsive and easily the most helpful host I've encountered in all of my VRBO rentals.

My spouse and I have been coming to TI for more than 10 years. In the past we rented houses because our extended family was able to join us and we needed more space. With just the two of us, the condo was plenty of space. It is nicely decorated and was very clean. They provide all the essentials and then some. Can’t say enough about the Host. They were terrific from start to finish. Rob got in touch shortly after booking to offer area information, staying in touch and responding to questions. Thank you for a very positive experience. Checking in and out was seamless. Would definitely recommend. Proximity to the beach and down town shops and restaurants is fantastic.

We rented Rob’s condo May 4-7. We had the best time. The condo was clean and comfortable. Very close to the beach and lots of good restaurants. We will definitely rent this condo again.

The property was exactly as expected. Very clean, great location and Rob was an excellent host. The only thing I would recommend is to add a more plush mattress topper to the king size bed, as it is on the firm side. Would definitely consider staying again.
