The hosts were very responsive and made us feel right at home. The cabin was close enough to town for us to grab anything we would need. Plenty of things to do in town and the surrounding area.

I reserved the property to participate in a 3 day golf tournament at the Horseshoe Bay resort. I was really only there to golf and wasn't interested in the resort environment for this trip. Just wanted some privacy and seclusion to rest after a long hot day each day. The property fit my needs perfectly. Clean and everything in perfect working order. The whole thing was a breeze. Perfect quiet weekend getaway. Other than the construction going on, the neighborhood is very quiet and easy going.

This was our pre-Fredericksburg stay, to visit Marble Falls. House was great. Clean and everything worked as it should. Bedroom was on the 2nd floor, so stairs were involved. Google map directions weren't very helpful, but the host gave directions. Follow those. Very nice view off the deck of the lake and city of Marble Falls in the distance. Downtown was nice. Great tacos at the Mexican restaurant, and a couple of nice breweries as well.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway, close enough to town but far enough from noise this is the place. The view of the lake, the sounds of the birds, and the magnificent hilly surroundings makes this a wonderful getaway for relaxation.

What an incredible property. Very peaceful, welcoming, and great views! We enjoyed having dinner each night on the patio overlooking the Colorado. We had a wonderful time.

The cabin was the perfect accommodation for our week of birdwatching and sightseeing. Our main focus was the Annual Songbird Festival at Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge which was only 30 minutes away. If you are a casual birder, the backyard will give well over a dozen species. The kitchen, baths, master BR (especially the bed!) and LR/TV were all excellent. If the opportunity arises, we'll be back.

The cabin was great for a lovely getaway location. It was equipped with everything we needed. It was very secluded and private. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the back deck enjoying the stupendous view. We will return!

Kelly was fabulous to work with, and the home was perfect - every detail was taken care of! It was such a relaxing and hassle-free experience. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely amazing and relaxing. Everything is close by. Lots of shopping and different things to do. Definitely will be going back. We celebrated our 30 year anniversary and it’s the perfect place to spend some time together.

First of all, Kelly and Drew have spared nothing in creating this magical little getaway. It is perfection! Kelly always responded quickly to any questions we had before booking. She’s just precious! Their description of this cabin is perfect….a little slice of heaven! It is in a neighborhood, but lots of trees and vegetation surrounding the cabin. Secluded! Bluebonnets colored part of the yard in blue….the view from the deck is amazing! Comfy chairs, the perfect place to unwind with coffee or with wine in the evening. The kitchen it stocked with everything you could need and H-E-B is close! Modern deco, dishes cups etc., bakewear, coffee, even a Nespressi machine! There’s a cozy little loft area with books, a couch and chair. Perfect place to renew. The bed! We slept like babies. Sooooo comfortable! And it’s a canopy…..with flowing curtains that really adds to the romantic vibe. The downstairs bathroom is amazing! Even plushy robes to wear. Everything about this sweet cabin is done to perfection, sparing no expense! The rainy, foggy weather held off until the we were leaving. Sitting there, watching the fog roll in, with John Denver playing on the old record player , coffee in hand., gentle rain, doves calling back and forth……it really was magical! If you are on the fence where to stay…..worry no more! You found it. Kelly gave us great ideas for things to do, places to see! It was a very special time celebrating 50 years together!!

The cabin is in the absolute perfect location. Far enough away and secluded enough to give you the peaceful feeling, but close enough to anything you would need. The listing is 100 percent accurate and the host amazing.

Warm and welcoming and, of course, beautiful log cabin with all the amenities needed to enjoy a staycation. Enjoyed the view of Lake Marble Falls from the back porch all while relaxing on the patio furniture. Would highly recommend this property for a romantic getaway. Was also greeted by deer upon our arrival!!

Clean and roomy; perfect for a romantic weekend away.

My husband and I booked this place to go for a business retreat to do some planning for our company. It was perfect for this, because it is roomy and both dining areas allowed us space to work. The kitchen is stocked. The town is close enough for a quick meal or grocery run. It is quiet and has great views of the river. We didn't get to use the outdoor grill or firepit, due to weather. However, this place is great in the winter and would love to visit in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoors. Hopeful next time will be more pleasure and less business. Thank you, Kelly, for making us feel very welcomed and being responsive with our questions.

My wife and I get away in January every year to plan and gear up for the year ahead. We spend a lot of time in the place we rent as well as enjoying the location and what is has to offer. Our stay here was perfect. The cabin invites you to want to stay longer. Exactly as advertised and a place we will want to come back to!

This house was perfect. From the modern cabin layout to the interior design to the little details throughout (a record player with the perfect albums) to the large back porch with a stunning view of the river, this is the best place to stay in the Hill Country. The owners were nice, thoughtful, and very responsive. I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking for the perfect getaway. We're going to come back again and again. Also, definitely make a trip out to one of the wineries and Fredericksburg is a must.
