Great quiet place. Had a great time love the log cabin. The farmers porch was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Had a few thunderstorms but we enjoyed them on the porch

This is our second year staying here and everything was just as we had remembered! The location is so beautiful and peaceful and the cabin is cute, cozy, clean and well-maintained. We came during a wicked cold snap and the fireplace kept us toasty warm. It’s the perfect size for our family of four - our two young boys had remembered it from the year before and were so excited to be back! We hope to return again next year!

Excellent choice for a weekend getaway. House was clean, well equipped and exactly as detailed. The road in was a little treacherous due to the weather but very quiet and peaceful and close enough to attractions!

The cabin was perfect. Super clean, beautiful snowy view and so peaceful. The owners were quick to respond to messages with our questions. We highly recommend the Alpine Adventures off-road mountain tour and the pizza delivery from Swiftwater Way Station made for a relaxing night in! We would definitely book this cabin again!

If you looking for a quiet, clean, charming little cabin in the woods away from it all this is the perfect property. Views of the Ammonoosuc River from the front porch, great for morning coffee.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our Thanksgiving weekend getaway. Everything went so smoothly - from the host’s communication before we got there, to getting to the cabin and all the way ´til we headed home. The description of the cabin is spot-on and everything was very comfortable. We especially liked the fireplace which comfortly warmed the whole place and the book shelves full of games and puzzles as well as books. The view down to the river is wonderful, and we enjoyed exploring down at the water. In a slightly warmer time the fire pit out back and the chairs along the porch would be well-used and we talked about how nice a week in the summer here would be. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend a stay here!

Our favourite spot to stay for our hiking trip to the White Mountains. Mountain lodge provides a wonderful calm, surrounded by beauty. It's magic, with very convenience taken care of.

Very cozy and comfortable cabin on a creek. Comfy beds, thick towels, well stocked kitchen. Sam was quick to respond to questions to help us make the most of our stay.

Excellent, excellent place to stay. Cabin was beautiful, modern appliances and so clean. Location in the woods near the River that you could hear from the porch was a treat. Don't miss the covered bridge in Bath. Longest covered bridge in N.H.

Used the location to enjoy the beautiful fall days in NH and Vermont. Loved the seclusion of the property.

We were in town for a local wedding and this hone was perfect for 2 couples and a college age son . Incredibly clean and well stocked , we enjoyed the games and cards as well as the backyard grill . A favorite of All was a TRUE outdoor shower . Owner communications is as fabulous as they made sure to message us and make sure everything was good . Highly recommend

The cabin is as described - lovely cabin in the woods, stocked everything you need. We even spotted a bear crossing the road on the drive in.

We were very happy with this rental. We look for 5 star ratings and this did not disappoint. It was very clean and had everything we needed (especially liked the games and bluetooth speakers!). It's location is off the beaten path but perfect if you want to really get away.

The house was very cute and we did have a good weekend overall but a few take aways. For some reason the water had a little odor, nothing crazy just a little dirty water smell. Also loved that the upstairs was open to downstairs but since we have a toddler it was tough because she had a hard time falling sleep. However she was obsessed with the outdoor shower! The view of the river was awsome made for a very relaxing atmosphere, but make sure if you bring littles that they understand no going off the deck without an adult, its steep down to the river. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend we had a very relaxing weekend.

My Husband, myself and my 3 grandchildren, ages 6 to 15 stayed for 5 days. It was so clean and smelled like fresh wood. 2 beautiful bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Beautifully decorated, with everything you need. Located 3 miles from Big Eddy, which Is a fabulous swim hole with waterfalls. Clean and easily accessible. We all loved it. The cabin has access to the river has a steep hill, but you can drive or walk the loop for easy access, lots if rocks, water level is low at this point. We would highly recommend this property for it's ambience and location. The Wilson's

If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful setting with surrounding forest and the Ammonoosuc River nearby, then the River Ridge Cabin is the place for you. It's a short drive to nearby stores on a scenic road along the river and you get to drive through the covered-bridge. Below the bridge is a swimming-hole for those warm summer days. The cabin is well-maintained with so many extras such as a gas fireplace for cool mornings and cold evenings, an outdoor fire-pit to gaze into, a well-equipped kitchen, an outside propane grill, and the convenience of a washer and dryer. Just in general there is lots of space inside the cabin with comfortable couches to laze on, plenty of games on the shelf, DVD movies, binoculars to watch any wildlife that might stroll by, and the lights and fans are marked so you don't have to spend days figuring out how to turn things on which is very helpful. The cabin is very clean with an abundance of towels and most importantly, the property hosts are easy to communicate with and extremely hospitable. Would like to return to this gem soon.

Here you go! Great little cabin getaway! Read on to find why only three stars. So first, the cabin is located on a well maintained and easily accessible dirt road-it is more like a solid road base road, not loose gravel. We were a little concerned because we rode our motorcycles. No problems with the road; and though it did not rain, even if it did, I don't think it would have been a problem. If your GPS ends and tells you that you have arrived and you are in the middle of the road, just make a left turn and go to the end of the road, turn right and it will be the second drive on the left. The house was very clean and stocked with some stuff that makes things easier-plenty of silverware, pots, pans, skillets, bowls, plates and even some spices, bags and paper towels. I suspect some of these were left behind by previous renters, but it is always nice to have a roll of paper towels and a few extra trash bags or paper plates. There are two bedrooms; upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs is a traditional bedroom and the upstairs is in a loft with no separation from the downstairs common area--out of sight, but there is no door or anything. This is not an issue, but it is nice to know. The kitchen is nice, clean and everything works as it should. Plenty of room as well. The only thing--and this was a pretty big one for us--this place was dark! All of the bulbs are frosted 60w with heavily frosted domes. The bedrooms were dark. So dark, you see shadows. It is too dark to read a book anywhere in the house at night or play a board game. The main living area has three candelabra bulbs from the ceiling, two dim table lamps and three heavily frosted pendant lamps for the counters. The skylights help during the day, but there is a lot of shade so you get shaded natural sunlight. At night we felt like we were in a candlelight restaurant. My suggestion: Put light kits on the ceiling fans in the bedrooms--that will fix it. Hang a real light from the ceiling in the common area. Get some bigger lamps or torch lamps that shoot light upwards. Replace the pendant kitchen lights with clear bulbs in clear glass pendants. That would fix everything. We would not rent this cabin again unless the lights were brighter--it was frustrating walking around the bedroom with shadows--BTW, we are 50-55 years old, but have no eye problems other than glasses/contacts. However, the communication was good and it really is a nice, very clean and very well maintained little cabin!!!!
