Super convenient location for all of our Eureka Springs adventures!

This really is a tiny space so you will need to be organized. The location is very close to the action, but it is up a very steep hill-you will get your exercise.. The best part was the back porch where we spent early mornings and late evenings enjoying the forest. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive to our needs.

My husband and I stayed her for our 1st wedding anniversary. The property was so cute and clean! We loved how close of a walk it was to the down town area. We used the fire pit one night and the firewood was already provided. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Inside was clean. Porches could have been cleaner. Entry door and knob need work. Difficult to turn it. Parking space for Fox Den needs filling in. Do not recommend this property for 4 adults. Was difficult for older adults to climb up into loft for sleeping.

Great place to stay for a couples getaway.

Nice tiny cottage for a couple nights. Probably too small for a week long stay but for our family it was perfect for two nights. The kids slept in the loft and we slept downstairs.

This little property had everything it advertised and is quite cute! It is very clean and cozy inside with several nice little touches like snacks, books, large wall-mounted moveable flat screen tv, & a lap blanket. The bed had a very comfortable memory mattress and soft comforter. We were surprised though by the 2nd bedroom loft. It was just big enough for children or maybe a teenager, but I would not recommend booking this site for more than 2 adults. The Fox Den that we stayed in is not the main house that is in some of the pictures, but the smaller building attached to the right side. There are 4 gravel parking spots so everyone has their own spot. The house is at the top of a rather tall hill very close to the main part of town. I didn’t walk it and chose to drive and park, but mostly because of the 95 degree days. It would be walkable for most people. Our host checked in with messages a couple times and offered to let us park there early and a couple hours after checking out, which was very nice of her. Would highly recommend if you don’t mind a small place.

Overall it was a good little property. We did have trouble with the barn doors in front of the bathroom opening and closing. Other than that it was fine. The convince of it being close to downtown was great. I would probably recommend this to a couple instead of a girls trip just for space/room.

We enjoyed our stay overall! This is a tiny one room stay, the deck area is shared with other units/people, but was not occupied most the time so it was fine! It is walking distance to the main streets and shopping area. It is located at the top of a steep and narrow street, and the parking spot for this unit has some potholes and we did scrape our car each time we had to back out- so beware. Not a huge deal, and the unit was cute and the porch swings were enjoyable. We would stay again.

Perfect little place in a great location!

The room was super cozy and quaint and wonderfully decorated. The side of the room had a sitting area overlooking large trees and abundant sounds of nature - just so peaceful and beautiful. The room is not a huge room, but it was plenty big enough for me, my partner, and our dog. The place was within walking distance of the downtown area (although there is a short, steep road to get to the downtown area). Loved it!!

Overall good experience

This property used to be called Douglas House and is still listed as such on VRBO internet searches. Mary’s contact info is listed under Douglas House and the current Mary Martha. Douglas House was a two bedroom cottage with living room and kitchen, which is what we reserved. Mary Martha is not full cottage with breakfast. We were not able to stay and our money was refunded.

Perfect spot with everything you need! Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown and we loved swinging in the swing watching the wildlife. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice place with a great location to downtown Eureka Springs. Very budget friendly as well. Great for an overnight or weekend getaway.

This place checked all the boxes for our anniversary night (away from the kids). The eucalyptus plant in the shower was a very nice touch and my wife and I decided we needed to do that in our shower once we got home. No lack of privacy and serenity surrounded us while still only being a few hundred feet from the maind strip. Thank you Mary for allowing us to stay and celebrate out 20th anniversary.

Clean, secluded, close walk to downtown. Mary was the perfect host. Easy process overall highly recommend.

Short vertical-ish walk to town (no problem getting your steps in!). Old pine flooring was a delightful surprise. The serene views from the porch overlooking the creek were wonderful. Generous snacks and a new smart tv really helped on a rainy day.

This is a perfect location. Close enough to walk but far enough to be more secluded. The peacefulness on the porch over looking a small stream, is a good place to rest up after walking. We didn’t get to meet or host but Mary went above and beyond getting a birthday card and flowers for me from my husband. (He contacted her without me knowing) They smelled so good! We would definitely stay here again.

Super cute, snacks and coffee provided. Close to all the Eureka haunts. When I rent and pay service fees on top of the rental price i don’t think I should have to strip the beds. But i did it anyway.

What a cute little cottage/studio. The bed was super comfortable. It was in a great location. I would have liked to hang out on the back deck, but the cushions needed to be cleaned, so I enjoyed the covered front porch every morning, which was wonderful. It was nice drinki g coffee from a coffee cup and not a aper cup. I enjoyed seeing deer out the back down by the swings. The show was TALL, which I can so appreciate. We were there for the VW car show and really enjoyed a location away from all the festivities, but walking distance to downtown and eateries.. Cute Cute Cute little place.

It's small folks, but with some imagination and clever storage of your personals this place has a charm to it. The host, Mary, is available, friendly and helpful. It's very close walking distance from downtown Eureka, which is wonderful. Parking is right next to the unit, which is wonderful. The back porch has a nice view with seating which was nice in the evenings n' mornings. The nature was awesome. The curious, friendly armadillo couple and the deer couple coming to visit us on the back porch is enough to bring me back to stay here! In the Fox Den you're going to have a tiny-home living experience, know that ahead of time and enjoy the charm of it!!

Loved the swings! It is tiny which was perfect for little ole me. Would have been tight for more than two but totally do-able. The location is great. Be prepared for an uphill hike home if you choose to walk into town. Great for booty toning. Ha! Thank you, Mary. You were a great host and I took all your recommendations! Salud, Lisa

This cozy cabin is perfect for walking into town. We loved the swings on the porch. The loft bed was a little tight for our two teens, but we made it work. Dinner options are surprisingly limited in Eureka Springs, so make reservations.
