The property was just as advertised. Lovely house, fantastic location, and great communication with the owner. I would book again if returning to Mobile! Thanks Shine for wonderful memories : )

Located just off I10, quick travel to downtown. House was comfortable for 4 adults. A Christmas wreath, mantle swag and tree provided a nice touch.
The house is old and has issues every old house (and many new) has such as running toilets, but nothing to impact our stay.
Hostess texted daily to see if we needed anything.

This was a great property for our stay. The games downstairs were perfect for our 3 grandkids! There was plenty of room. My only comment would be that there was only 1 towel and 1 washcloth per guest. Only 1 hand towel in the master bathroom. The kitchen had everything you could need. We were very comfortable there, and I would recommend it.

House is comfortable, roomy & well laid out. You always wonder about beds - nice mattresses, not worn & dipped in the middle so we all rested very well. Spacious kitchen w/plenty of counter space. Below on concrete & in shade are all kinds of fun for the kids. The yard is huge, & the covered deck very peaceful. The boat slip made me wish I had one! I was amazed at how centrally located we were to everything. We were just 25 minutes from Dauphin Island - our main destination for the week, but other great tourist items were also just minutes away too.

We were I town for the Mardi Gras parades and Balls.
This property was a perfect place to stay as the house was large enough to accommodate the four of us.
We were so busy and didn’t have time to fully enjoy the property as it’s a great place for families to relax and play.
Looking forward to coming back and staying again at this property.

The house was spacious enough for our group of 7. The entertainment area under the house was a huge hit with my children. Our only downside was not spending enough time at the house to enjoy it. We plan to stay again.

The stay was great. We really utilized all the areas and activities outside. Make and eating breakfast in the large kitchen really brought us together at the beginning of the day. Easy access to get in and out of as well. It was an amazing property!

My family really enjoyed this property. The game area in the lower level was a big hit with my kids. We have rented condos in the past for vacations, but honestly this rental was simpler when it came to rules and check-out procedure. The owner was very good about communication during our stay. We would love to come here again.
The only reason I gave “accuracy of online description” four stars instead of five is that the property is technically waterfront and has boat access to the river but isn’t on the main river. Since the river wasn’t part of our interest, this did not affect us but I could see it being a disappointment to some.
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at this house and I would highly recommend it for families with school-aged kids.

Perfect stay for our family. We came into town a few days before we left on a cruise. Beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Great location.

Very pleasant and peaceful stay.
This place was perfect for our family. Peaceful and safe area, very conveniently located to getting into town. The house was nice and clean and and very comfortable; especially the beds. Great host.

Home away from Home
I found myself in the position of needing a comfortable place near the hospital for at least 12 days. I was very fortunate to snatch this listing up. This house is amazing and in the perfect location for quiet living, shopping, restaurants, ease of access to the interstate and simple direction. The property is beautiful, and the owners are super nice and very quickly accommodating to various needs. There are many games for the children and lots of entertaining space for larger families. The large yard backs up to the river and there is a church just a couple of blocks over from the property for those wanting to visit on Sunday. I can't wait until we need to be back in the area so we can stay here once again. Thanks so much for allowing us to share your home for a short time.
