Driving down the street was a bit scary, and when we got there another family was struggling with their code to get in and told us that our room was supposed to be their room. She had a woman on her phone that she said wanted to talk to me. It was an awkward situation. I called the woman at Niagara Hospitality who said she was unable to confirm reservations or tell us who had what rooms. She asked if we would move to the other room. We looked at it and found the other room had no kitchen and I let her know I paid for a room with a kitchen. She said she had to call her boss. After several minutes I called her back because we were all standing around awkwardly. She said she wasn’t able to reach anyone. She was obviously frustrated as well and had dog’s barking so it was hard to even hear her. The other family said they would take the room without the kitchen so we worked it through although they now had our door code so that made the entire stay a bit uncomfortable because we felt we had to carry our valuables with us. When I messaged the company that we needed towels because there were no hand towels and only 4 towels for 4 women for 4 days they did respond within the hour to say they would bring some in the morning. The next afternoon I called again because we still needed towels and they came about an hour after that. Our door code didn’t work 2nd day. It was a close walk to the falls, but not the best experience and didn’t feel completely a safe location.
