We wanted to go kayaking at Lake Jocasse, SC...a scenic drive just an hour away...and we love Brevard. We were so fortunate this property became available as we planned this last minute! It was perfect, wtih every consideration given to their guests. Spacious, very clean, plush towels , beautiful backyard including white squirrel appearances, close to town and a great walking neighborhood. Thank you Paula and Bob for sharing your home!

This location is central to everything. Hiking to Gorges, Pisgah, Dupont. Drive to Blue Ridge, Asheville. Brevard itself is a quaint artistic town. Bob and Paula were warm and informative, available if needed, but we're concentious about your privacy. Great back yard to watch white squirrels while drinking morning coffee.

What's not to love about this place! It's in a beautiful neighborhood close to downtown Brevard and an easy drive to the Music Center, College, and Pisgah Forest. The hosts, welcoming and interesting folks, have thought of everything you might need, and the bed and linens are perfect. Thank you, Robert and Paula. We loved being there, enjoyed the patio and the art, and hope to see you again before long.

nice, neat, clean place to stay. it was perfect for my wife and i. saw a white squirrel while staying here. (awesome) i can only think of good things to say about the place and the hosts and i could go on for a while. highly recommended.

Excellent. Clean, spacious, wonderfully decorated (kept finding new treasures to look at), beautiful location. Hosts very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and walk, giving detailed orientation to TV system. And Brevard was a wonderful destination for short holiday.

The property was just as described. It was nestled in a quaint neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. The host were available if needed but not overshadowing.

Halloween get-away to Brevard was made even better by our stay here. The whole booking process and communication with the owners was really clear and easy. We met the owner upon arrival and he showed us where to park and other aspects of the place and stay. That was the only time we saw or heard them. The place is very modern and cozy. Extremely quiet and peaceful with a wonderful view of the backyard. The leaves were peak in color and we saw the famous white squirrels. Nice little patio area had two chairs and was covered. It was nice to sit out there and drink coffee in the morning watching the squirrels. The living room was nice to sit for reading and watching TV. The bedroom is huge with a king size bed. Bathroom is clean and the water pressure is great. The white robes were a nice touch on the cold mornings. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker as well as paper plates, utensils, paper towels, coffee and wine glasses. The neighborhood is really quiet and it is a quick drive to downtown and not a bad drive to waterfalls and other areas for hiking and sightseeing. The walk to downtown is about 20 minutes. All sidewalks and well lit. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back for our trips to the Brevard Halloween festival. Thanks to Bob and Paula!

Really a nice experience. The Suite is comfortable, very updated, spacious and was super clean. The patio is pleasant and with a large it feels like you are far more remote than you are. The hosts are really nice and I couldn't be happier with this experience. I will definitely be back.

This walk-out basement unit opens up to a very relaxing patio with a beautiful backyard view. The hosts were very friendly and their rental space is attractive, comfortable, and priced competitively. We hope to return there many more times!

Being a native of Brevard NC it was nice to be able to stay near my old neighborhood. We will consider this to be our "GO TO" spot for future trips home.

We truly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the property and the proximity to town. Paula and Bob are very gracious and accommodating hosts. We intend to return annually.

We typically do not book a place that we share somebody's house.. These accommodations were outstanding. This is basically a mother in law quarters that is separate from the house. You have a separate entry. The hosts are there when you need them, but invisible otherwise. Do not bother going to town to see a white squirrel.. We saw 2 on the property and none in town at the college.

The suite was very clean ,very functional ,very private. Host was organized and very pleasant. We enjoyed the quiet ,the location, and the excellent artwork. We hope to return.

What a beautiful place, awesome little town hidden in the mts. Our stay was perfect, cozy place for my wife & I to unwind, relax. Bed was so comfortable. I thought it was great.

The bright and open suite was well-appointed and equipped with all the amenities for providing a quiet, private respite. There was every attention given to details and comforts - (king-size) bed, luxury pillows and linens, wi-fi and a big screen tv - even terry cloth robes. The bathroom with walk-in shower was equally well- appointed with a good supply of luxury towels. We enjoyed watching white squirrels (and a super moon) from our private porch. We hope to be able to visit the area again and will most certainly hope to have White Squirrel Suite available for our stay.

Great property- with a nice airy den dining combo in addition to bedroom and bath. Parking right next to entry in settled quiet neighborhood close to downtown. Host and hostess lovely people.

We stayed at the White Squirrel Inn for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Brevard is a fantastic little town with lots going on. Paula and Robert were wonderful hosts. They take very good care of the unit, they were very kind and took care of our every need. They had some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Overall it was a great stay and we'd love to make another trip back down!

This was our first time to do VRBO or any vacation rental and we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean and spacious and nicely decorated. My husband appreciated the security to the property and the beauty of the area. The host explained everything and was very cordial. Great place for a weekend get away!
