It's in an old Victorian house that was converted into apartments. During the 3 days of subzero temperatures the heat was excellent and I was very comfortable despite old windows. Lots of charm.

The location was great! The coffee pot didn't work. You really need to put a trash can in the bathroom. The seating arrangement in the living room was very awkward. You couldn't watch tv from the couch. The tv sat askew on the wall hanging over a door jamb.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Oak Park. The unit is super clean and perfect for 2 people. It is in a great location, bonus points for the ice cream and coffee shops right next door!

This was a great place to spend a few days in Oak Park visiting my daughter. The property was clean, comfortable and in a good location.
Parking was not ideal but Oak Park is apparently known for this.
The map on the app shows this property to be directly across from Austin gardens park, however it is several blocks north though. It is still a nice location within easy walking distance to all that Oak Park has to offer.
Overall I would definitely stay here again.

The rental was a very good value and was in a nice location for my purposes. It is located in a cute Victorian house and included, small but but functional bed, bath, kitchen, and living rooms. Photos of the site are accurate. I would recommend if looking for a good value and a location near shops and Chicago Avenue in Oak Park. The owner was welcoming and willing to assist with any questions I had.

I grew up in Oak Park and loved being back. This place was the perfect size and location for what we needed and super close to my Mom :)
If you are needing a VRBO in Oak Park for the weekend I would definitely check this place out!

What a wonderful location and perfect little rental. We loved our weekend there. The neighborhood is wonderful, you really don’t need a vehicle. The unit was cozy and has everything we needed. Owner was great at communicating. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Not what the pictures show
This place is not what it seems, old dirty un kept house . Fridge missing a leg on such a slant we had to put can underneath so the door would work, bathroom and bedroom door don’t close, we wanted the outdoor space and it was just dirty and surrounded by garbage cans and old suitcase, also some guy drunk sat there for three days and made it very uncomfortable to enter the unit. Also upstairs had a dog that continued to bark at all hours. Two small spoons and plastic cutlery, two old dish clothes no dish towel to dry dishes no serving bowls mis matched plates… all round huge disappointment for what we paid. My recommendation is Do Not Rent

I took out a knife from under the fridge balancing it but everything else was fine. There is a early check-in charge but they let me know that so we went for a walk.

The outside of the property was sadly very run down. It has the potential to be beautiful. The inside was clean, cosy but in need of some TLC. The description in a review stating property is luxurious is dishonest.
The checkin information was incorrect. It really needs to be updated to avoid confusion. The location was excellent!

Kitchen full of dishes & some complimentary condiments. Super host Laura does a great job of communicating and trying to meet your needs because they matter to her. I definitely will be staying here again!!
