We came to see the snow and boy did we ever! The house was the icing on the cake! This home is wonderfully homey and extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly think of needing. We played in the fenced in back yard. Brought our dog and found dog treats for her when we arrived. The owner was extremely helpful and worked with us to make our stay perfect! Beds and sofas were comfy and we couldn't have asked for a better stay except that we didn't want to leave! Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We drove up for the weekend and this place was perfect for us, our 5 year old, and our two dogs. There was tons of snow and there was everything we could need and more to make our weekend getaway easy and fun. We'll definitely be coming back the next time we head to big bear!

We have stayed in many rental properties and cannot say enough about this one! The house itself is thoughtfully designed and just so dang cozy. Location-wise it is terrific; close proximity to the Village (plenty of restaurants for various taste buds), Snow Summit and the lake! And, let’s not forgot .. the wonderful accommodations for our furry family member. Thank you Jennifer for a wonderful trip.

Right upon entry we are greeted with so many amenities and both male and female hygienic products, the jacuzzi hot tub was nice and hot, new and clean appliances and fully equipped kitchen , the house overall has a very good energy and is very peaceful charming , and we will most definitely book again , home away from home, five stars frankly isn’t enough!

This cabin surpassed any and all expectations we had based on Jennifer’s across the board 5 star review! We consider our dogs family, and travel with them as frequently as possible. Sometimes when we travel to “dog friendly” rentals, there is some evidence that other dogs have shared the space- not at Winterland Cottage- it is spotless! It is exactly as the photos depict, cozy and comfy. Upon entering you’re greeted with a contemporary cabin feel, with all the modern amenities anyone could need or want. Every detail has been considered; from board games and books to ping pong and darts. The washer and dryer are new and clean. The backyard is secure and well lit with a charming glow. Our dogs had an absolute blast sniffing around and playing ball back there, and although it has a beautiful forest feel, we never felt unsafe taking them out late at night for bathroom breaks. The neighborhood is quaint and we really enjoyed taking walks all times of the day and night. Jennifer went above and beyond, not only in terms of thoughtful touches such as treats left in the bowls she provides for those with dogs, and custom Winterland coffee cups made to remember the trip, but with wonderful food & entertainment recommendations to make the most of your time there. We just got home yesterday and are already planning a return trip in the next month…if we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Our host Jennifer was very communicative and was very friendly and professional. The property was wonderful. It had all the amenities our family needed. She has thought of every detail to make it feel like home including the dogs. They even had pet friendly salt for the winters. Her property manager Jo-Dee and sister were just a nice. They texted me throughout the day and were there right at the time we arrived. They showed us the layout of the house, where everything was at, and how everything worked. They were very friendly and sweet ladies. We will definitely be staying at on of Jen's properties again. We had a great weekend. Thanks for the great experience.

My husband and I had such a lovely time at the cottage. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and amenities. Our pups loved to explore the fenced yard and quaint neighborhood. Overall a great place to stay with dogs!
