Owners did a great job of updating decor and the view of the lake is spectacular! I would stay here again. It has plenty of sleeping options for groups. The owner was very communicative. Please note that there are a lot of stairs, but we were aware of that and able bodied.

Such a sweet property, perfect for our small group of friends! It was clean, modern, newly renovated and had everything we needed.
We didn’t realize we would have access to both houses on the property, so will consider that next time we come!

Loved everything about this quaint cottage on the lake! From timely, easy communication to having everything we needed for our week stay it was perfect. Having direct water access off the house was a huge plus with our water loving son! Loved the beautiful dock and sitting on the water! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had such a great week. The property was clean and well set up. Plenty of room and the outside area is amazing. Regardless of the time of day or the weather there is a space outside where you can be and feel completely comfortable. The water was clear and beautiful. Having all the amenities at your fingertips is a huge benefit. Corrie was available making sure everything was all set for me and my family. We are so happy we were able to find this gem. We will be looking to book the same week for next summer!!

This home was perfect for us. We were looking for a place to relax and recharge. The home was very clean, a lot of items were provided. The view couldn’t get any better. Having a covered patio was a major plus, that’s where we spent most of our time. And I loved having the second building on the property. It was nice to spread out and have some space . This was my first time renting a home, and this place was a winner. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our friend’s engagement. The weather was amazing and the house was everything we could have hoped for. The plan is to try and get here every year.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. While we traveled with just a small group of four, I can say that it would be a great place to stay with a larger group. There is space to spread out but also plenty of areas created for the group to gather together.
Great location, adorable and right on water. My favorite spot was drinking my morning coffee on the covered porch.
Parking provided is up above a long the road. There are a lot of stairs down to the main cottage but they are well maintained and have good traction.
The host was very responsive to any of our questions. All amenities are provided and I could have comfortably stayed for a week.
This house will be staying on our list of favorites for future trips to the Finger Lakes.

I would highly recommend this property. The house was well stocked with all the essentials of the best quality. Beautiful linens and towels, plates and comfortable furniture made our stay comfy & cozy. On our last night we opted to stay in and cook so we could enjoy the stunning views of the lake.

Oak and Amber was a treasure!
We had a fabulous stay at Oak and Amber cottage! It is very near many different amenities such as Seneca Farms ice cream, Abandon brewery, grocery stores including Indian Pines Farm market and more. The cottage is very cozy and swimming is very easy off the dock. We did not use the upper cottage but stayed in the lower cottage. Both are decorated beautifully . The neighbors are very friendly. We definitely hope to come back again.

The unique main house is charmingly appointed; the furniture, decor, linens - even the rainy-day games - are of nice quality. The kitchen layout is efficient and features every convenience needed.
The view is unparalleled - the back and sides of the cottage have plenty of windows, so the sparkling lake is always within gaze. There is an outdoor space for every purpose - the deck, the patio, and - our favorite - the sitting area in the shade were all inviting. We brought our boat along and loved having it docked outside our door, available to take a cruise anytime the whim struck.
The annex - an unexpected gem of a space that sits high on the property - was surprisingly spacious and came in handy once the dorms closed and our newly minted graduate joined us. She and a friend had a lovely time, with plenty of space to spread out and every amenity they could need.
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Oak and Amber, and look forward to returning!
