We had a great stay

We got to the house on Monday evening the house was beautiful and clean. Our problems started as we headed out to the backyard and pool. They were full of leaves. Unusable. We contacted the host at 9pm they said they will take care of it, it took them till Tuesday 7pm to clean it all up. We were looking foward to spending time at the pool that evening and all Wednesday. As we went into the hot tub Tuesday we realized it’s cold we contacted the host again right away. It took till Wednesday 4pm for them to fix the problem. But the pool took time to warm up. They let us know we could have late checkout on Thursday 1pm. But 10:45am the landscapers came to cut down the trees that were causing all of the mess. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool at all. Which is a pity as that’s a big reason why we spent so much on the house. Yeh host wouldn’t compensate us at all. Very disappointing

Clean and comfortable

This home is a beautiful new construction modern house. The 5 bedrooms accommodated our needs. There were just a few glitches that disrupted our experience. The seating area in the living room while pretty, it was not comfortable. The jacuzzi hot tub drained itself midway into our trip. It was a key factor in us choosing this house. Even though the owner responded to our inquiry the day after arrival of how to turn it on, I didn’t receive a response to my notification that it stopped working a few days later. That was a huge disappointment to our group as we were dealing with a child’s death and the warmth of the hot tube was comforting to the mother. The master shower was nice but takes a few tries to figure out how to operate. I would recommend the owner make a laminated guide on how to operate the particulars in the home, ie. Ceiling fans, Pool lights, hot tub, thermostat, shower, tub etc. Evidently the neighbors don’t care for vacationers but we didn’t have any issues except for one suspicious drone flying overhead as we enjoyed the pool area. :/ The ceiling fans in the bedrooms didn’t have remote controls (the owner said they would order some new ones) and the beds understandably had waterproof mattress covers, but it made us all complain each morning of sweating throughout the night. The beds, except the child’s bunk bottom mattress) were very hard so if that bothers you, beware. I personally didn’t sleep well because of it and also the lights from the pool causing the bedroom to be lit all night. The wallpaper in the master bedroom had a big portion that had peeled off so I am sure they will fix this at some point. The sliding glass door leading outside did not lock (settling of the glass door) (there was also apparent settling causing broken tiles) We tied a belt around it each night. This problem definitely needs fixed although the area seems very safe. We did mention it in a text but that wasn’t addressed. On a more positive note we enjoyed the sunshine and lounge chairs by the pool, and had breakfast outside daily. The bedrooms were very pretty with care for modern glam decor. It made for some pretty pictures by our photographer of our group. I know it sounds like a lot of complaints, but in the big scheme of things these all can be remedied for future guests to enjoy a nice stay here. Would I return? Probably so. Especially if the owner fixes the glitches and makes a few tweaks to allow a more comfortable stay.

Super great decor and new EVERYTHING. In fact, it's like it was all thrown in really quick to get it rented. We changed our schedules between the 6 of us to take turns making sure someone was there to come fill the hot tub, hook up the gas on the bbq grill and then check the circuit breakers. Turns out the hot tub would trip the breaker each time. We really like the space and how wide open it was. It has what seems to be mold on the baseboards throughout...? Washer n dryer are in a closet with a sliding door so you have to reach around a door to get your close from the washer to the dryer. Since we enjoy cooking in our group. the kitchen needs some more basics...like storage containers and a pair of sheers/scissors anywhere in the home. We did have good communication with the property manager and he would send someone out to troubleshoot...even on a Sunday or weeknight. It just through a little wrinkle in our plans. Neighborhood was great and close to Winn Dixie, Gas, Publix and pretty much easy access to anywhere you wanted to go. I'm not 100% certain we'd stay there again bc of what looks like a water-line mold area along the baseboards.
