Pro’s The second floor stay was nice with beach view. Great location near Balboa island and Fun zone and ocean rental activities.

Refrigerator/freezer is broken minimal toilet paper and paper towels for a party of 7.
No hot water in kitchen no dish washing soap Blinds in bedroom are broken. So light at night came into room. And most importantly it was hot and humid and air conditioning did not work.

I would stay here again but there are some things you should know. We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the rental.
Here is what you should know…rental was clean the kitchen has everything you need. BBQ worked great and was a good option for dinner one night. I found the beds very comfortable. The garage was a great option if you only have one car. I felt secure closing the garage door. Washer and dryer worked great. The view from the balcony was great and we sat out there often to people watch.
A few others things…we did find a bad stain on our sheets which was out of character for how the rest of the rental looked. Window coverings need an upgrade. In one room a slat was missing giving a clear view to anyone that happened by. Lots of ambient light coming through at night which I disliked. Also, the walls are very thin between rooms and units. Unit A was occupied by at least eight teenage boys and we could hear every word and they were loud. To their credit things got quiet at 10pm. As mentioned in other reviews the stairs are challenging even to manage. If you are not steady I would recommend a unit on the first floor.
A few things about the area. The waves at the beach closest to the unit are not swimable. Waves come up quickly and crash immediately. Waves further north near Newport pier are better for recreation. Lots of great stores and food places around. Take the ferry over to Balboa island and see the shops and get a frozen banana, it’s walkable.

We enjoyed our stay at this property and would highly recommend. Aside from the views, ocean proximity, quiet location, and the loveliness of the unit, it is only couple of minute walk to the main street. We would happily stay again in this unit. There are two things of note for those considering this property: 1) there are stairs, so keep that in mind when packing a heavy suitcase - you will get your cardio in lugging it up; and, 2) the garage parking is a bit tight, particularly if you have a minivan and the people in the other unit park crooked - recommend smaller vehicles. Other than that, perfection.

The cleaning agency didn’t provide sufficient toilet paper. One bathroom had none. We had to go out and purchase some on our own. Also, the air conditioning thermostat doesn’t work well. We called and the management company said, “the unit doesn’t show that it has an air conditioning unit listed”. It was terrible sleeping at night all sweaty.

Home had great views and location. It was very clean. A lot of construction going on so be aware of noise during the day. Noah the manager was so very helpful in handling the few bumps in the road we experienced, and went out of his way to accommodate us. Great customer service on his part.

The location, view and layout of this home are great and having a garage parking space is wonderful. We especially liked that there were two rooms with king-size beds and all of the beds were comfortable. The home needs a lot of work, isn't very well maintained and the cleaning was lacking. The couch and loveseat are very worn out, have no support left in the cushions and seams on some cushions were ripped. The dishwasher doesn't clean very well and does not dry at all. A dirty dish and knife had been put away in the cupboard, with chunks of dried cheese in the dish, and the floors were generally dusty and did not feel clean. The first night there was a very annoying high pitched chirping sound coming from the fridge that we believe was a cricket. I later read a previous review of this unit with the same complaint. We killed three crickets in the home during our stay. There were some very loud neighbors one night and the courtyard lights are very bright and the bedrooms only have vertical blinds that do not block light well. The home just felt very run down and needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning.

Very nice condo. Centrally located. We could walk to almost everywhere. Comfortable beds. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The Vacasa folks were very responsive to our needs.

This is a fabulous beach house - and the view from this picture is exactly what we got. Very roomy, wonderful location, beach was fabulous, and walking distance to great food and a truly wonderful stay.

I have been staying at Newport Beach for a month every summer for the past 10 years. I decided to check out a different location this year and was very happy with my decision. This unit it’s very spacious and cozy.
The view from all front windows and balcony is AMAZING! Great balcony for entertaining.
Can’t beat the location, walking distance to restaurants, Fun Zone, beach and Balboa Pier.
Vacasa was very quick to respond to my questions. Communication regarding upcoming stay was excellent.
I will be back!

When arrived there was trash that hadn’t been taken out for a while and there were flies and ants all over the kitchen. The trash smelled very bad we had to buy bug spray to get rid of the bugs. Beautiful view/location, but they need to manage the property a little bit better. I also left a couple items there called several times about it. They charged me for shipping but never shipped my items. I am in the process of trying to get my money back right now. So overall not a super great experience.

Location was great--easy bike ride to main town area and walking distance to Balboa Island ferry. Perfect beach location-quick runs back and forth to home throughout the day. Views are as shown from balcony. The grassy area in front gets loud and crowded during weekdays with youth camps and on weekends with family bbq's etc. Porch seating is on the stools pictured in ad, and the balcony is narrow and tight, so not the most comfortable, but still very pretty views and great people watching on paved path right below the balcony.
After arriving, we had a few issues with things in the home, but local manager was quick to address and handled very professionally.

This place is steps away from the beach! It's perfect for a family with young children because of that grass area directly in front of the unit. There is also a playground nearby. It is steps away from the beach, and near many different restaurants and bars. Hosts quickly respond, and give easy and clear directions for check-in and check-out. I can't wait to stay here again!

This condo was super comfortable for my family of 5 with 3 teens. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to. And the balcony was great for eating with a view

I’ll start with the positive. View from the balcony is exactly as pictured. There are a lot of tools in the kitchen that you don’t normally see at a VRBO. Neighbors were all quiet and even tho it’s a high traffic area because of the location, it clears out in the late afternoons and it’s peaceful. There were beach chairs in the garage to use and check in was simple. There’s a grill on the balcony but it seemed like a fire hazard to me with the black soot on the ceiling.
The bad….for whatever reason, this place had crickets inside the apartment. We killed at least 4 or 5. There was a particular cricket (we named him jimmy) living under the fridge. I made an attempt to locate jimmy and there were chips and hair and dust, but no jimmy. He chirped ALL NIGHT. Also, the sheets were not clean, they were stained and had hairs of all kinds. My best advice, invest in a Webster! You’ve got to get those cobwebs down from those beautiful vaulted ceilings! Yuck…..and there were A LOT of them!
Even though this was a nice location, I definitely would not stay here again. Take some time to clean the place. REALLY clean it and replace the stained bed linens.

This condo is in a great location and was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and it was stocked well. The outside lock pad was a little tricky and the parking space was very tight, but overall everything was great. Property manager was very responsive via email as we experienced a leak in the roof during our visit. The leak wasn't fixed during the time we were there, but I assume that it was handled once we checked out. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo is in a great location and was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and it was stocked well. Property manager was very responsive via email as we experienced a leak in the roof during our visit. The leak wasn't fixed during the time we were there, but I assume that it was handled once we checked out. We would definitely stay here again.

Unit has a ton of ants don’t leave you doughnuts out more than 20 min.
Neighbors were terrible barking dog and loud party however we called and they were told to keep it down stayed here twice now and will return overall great location and clean.

This Beach house was perfect for our teens and younger children! You get the pleasure of being on the beach and walking distance to the Fun Zone! Overall great experience few issues though. Beds in both master and second queen bedroom do not have enough support you tend to gravitate to low spot in the middle. Also not all extra bedding And pillows in closets Were clean some had dog hair on them. Also sheets on roll away couch did not look like they had been cleaned.
