This was a fantastic getaway with our family of 5 and my parents. The house has a great layout with a living room and fireplace and huge dining room downstairs, a 2nd lounge with TV upstairs and another one in the basement. Our favorite thing about the house was the wrap around balcony where we had a beautiful view of the mountains, and a huge treat was nearly 200 elk that roamed the golf course right in front of the balcony every day. We had elk less than 20 feet from us. Checkin was super easy and there was never any issue. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had three couples staying at this property. To begin with the beds were horrible. Mattresses were too soft and lumpy. The outside deck looked as if it was going to collapse. The rail was wobbly and presents a safety hazard. I cannot believe both the property manager and the owner neglected this. Road leading up to house needs to be resurfaced. Property has potential, owners must maintain properties and not just profit from them. Property was well laid out, good view of golf course.

The location and fully stocked home made our trip wonderful!! We didn’t have to leave home to see the Elk this Fall and could hear them bugling all night. I would give this home excellent recommendation. PMI were friendly and helpful throughout the process.

Great location for elk watching. Just needed two more towels for the upstairs bathroom.

We loved everything about this location and the house itself. It was perfect for our 7 adult group. It’s very close to downtown without having to deal with all of the traffic. Lots of walking/hiking spots close and being right on the golf course made for great scenery. Very clean and lots of space for bigger groups.

Overall great property and experience. It would have been helpful to be in touch with property manager directly vs. going through a customer service rep. to resolve some minor issues that came up (e.g., WiFi temporarily not working)

I believe this property is better than advertised. Had a great time over the weekend with the proximity yo the course. Wished I had golfed better but the two bull elks hanging around the 17th green the morn we checked out made up for whatever poor drives I had the day before. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. Our party of 8 truly had plenty of room to really spread out. The home was very clean, and beautifully decorated with stunning views in every direction including Long’s peak in the distance and closer peaks and mountains all around. Inside the home has 3 levels, each with living room/hang out areas, which was great for the kids and adults to all spread out and do their thing. The kitchen is large and well designed with two dining tables. The main living area has many large windows to enjoy the view. The backyard is small but has a nice view and a table and a great hot tub. This house feels like it is on just on the edge of town near the mountains but is only 7 minutes from downtown Estes Park’s fun activities and dining etc and just a couple minute drive down to Estes Lake for an easy hike or fishing. Overall a great house we hope to stay at again, at a great location. This house is perfect for large group like ours.

We had 8 people in our party and the layout of the rooms was perfect. It was 80°+ in Estes Park during our stay and the house got pretty warm. Once we realized there was a whole house fan that helped somewhat…but it was frustrating not being able to turn on the upstairs fan or the fan in the dining room off the kitchen. It would have been helpful to have a more in-depth description of the house (like there is no air conditioning, use whole house fan, etc) but we made it work. Overall the house was wonderful and we had a really nice time in the area. We would definitely recommend the house to others.

Our extended family had a fantastic time in Estes Park. This property was a great fit for us, with plenty of dining space and group seating for hanging out together. It seems like the owners are in the midst of upgrading the home—there was new flooring in a closet, and a brand new hot tub, but it wasn’t hooked up for use. Might be an even nicer place to stay later. Only downside was the property manager expected us to give access to an electrician and accept delivery of a new refrigerator in the midst of our stay, even asking us to clean out our items from the existing fridge as we were walking out the door to our timed entry in RMNP. The property manager was also not very responsive on our first day, and took until the next day to respond to our call. Overall, a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this house and would definitely come again! Spacious and comfortable with beautiful views overlooking the golf course. We saw lots of elk which was fun and we also loved the proximity to town. The house was very well stocked and looked after. One of the best ones we've stayed in for sure.

will try again next year for same home!

The name says it all, we had many amazing Elk visitors right out the back door to keep us entertained. House was great for our group of 4 couples. Lots of space to gather. Some minor maintenance items needed and some issues getting in touch with management company or getting prompt responses. But all in all, would recommend the property.

However, there were quite a few things that showed the neglect of the "professional" property management company. Most of the remote controls had dead batteries so we could not operate many of the overhead fans and some lights. The coffee pot worked well but needs to be descaled (per it’s warning), and the refrigerator was missing it’s water filter. There are also no instructions on how to operate anything (fireplace, lights, TVs, etc.). Some of the lights were burnt out and the whole house fan did not work properly. We called the management company when we could not get the gas fireplace to light, and the management company obviously did not know this property at all. They offered to “Google it” for us if we could find the model number. When we asked about batteries for the remotes, they suggested that we check all the drawers in the house. We had already done that, so their suggestion was that we could buy our own batteries, which they would not reimburse us for (but they said we could bring home with us…). We had trouble trying to get the TV in the basement to play anything and they promised to send someone out that day, but they never arrived. Similarly, when we asked about snow removal, they simply did not return our call at all. Also, check in is not until 4 PM, and they want $100 to get in just two hours early (even if the house had been vacant the night before). All in all, the house was great, but the management company left a lot to be desired (house 5 stars, management company 1 star = 3 stars overall). We were able to figure out most of these things ourselves, but it is disappointing how much money goes to a management company that provides little to no value.

We came to Estes for a Wedding with another couple and this house was nothing short of amazing. The views from inside and outside of the house are astonishing. It was well stocked with anything you could need. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and two living areas to spread out. I would highly recommend this place for your next stay.

This was a phenomenal property- the pictures are top notch but we found the property even better in person. We arrived on the day of a snowstorm and the driveway was plowed for us within a few hours of the snow stopping. Great spaces all throughout the house. We enjoyed a movie night with surround sound on the ground floor and our favorite spot was all of the seating by the enormous windows. We have traveled to Estes for many years and this is by far our favorite home we’ve stayed at. Can’t wait to book again!

This trip was all about Time and this house was perfect getaway from 4 bedrooms, to the fabulous dining room table, comfortable living areas & the kitchen had everything we needed and it was so close to town! Perfect stay for a family!

Elk View Lodge is a great place in a very convenient location; easy to find, easy to get to. We had more than enough space and the view through the the gargantuan windows had my undivided attention. The neighbors are friendly too. The kitchen is well supplied, nothing was lacking. The house looked like the photos! No surprises, yey!

My family rented this gorgeous home for just after Christmas. It was a perfect place for us: tons of great seating and hangout areas (with fantastic views!) and it was so spacious that we never felt on top of each other (had 8 guests). The huge dining table and large kitchen was also helpful! Really, this home has everything we could have needed (except for maybe some throw blankets to use on the couches/chairs). Thank you for a wonderful stay!
