Property was very clean, nice layout, quiet, and only 10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Beautiful walking area and neighborhood. Nice lighting and plenty of clothing storage space. It is as pictured on website. Kitchen is small and clean, but not designed for those who want to cook...as minimal counter space. It would have been helpful to have a toaster, a couple of new pans/pots (non-stick coating on both pans chipped), and a shelf or two for non-perishable food items. Worth noting - it is not an easy place to find and found directions a bit confusing. This rental space is in the back yard of owner's home - so you have to access through an alley that runs between two streets. Once we did it a few times - no problem. If renting a vehicle on your trip to Seattle - suggest something smaller than an SUV as garage is quite small and angle to enter/exit garage is very tight due to narrow width of alley. All in all ... a very nice place to stay.

The cottage is great, modern, clean, airy, comfortable, elegant, and simple in all the good ways. Love it. Great location. BUT..... the exterior of the property and access to the door to the living space is not awesome. We were asked to use the a specific garage bay and a specific path up to the entry way leaving the others for the owner, which would normally be fine, but the pathway designated for us had steps on it WAY out of code and WAY too steep for my elderly dear friend to navigate, and those steps did not have railings. It is simply unsafe for anyone with even a mild impairment to their walking -- even someone who can handle a flight of normal stairs to code. THE GOOD NEWS is that the local VACASA manager stepped right up when I called, and we determined that there was a way we could continue to use the side of the garage we had been using, but use the pathway on the other side which had proper steps to get access to the building. I'm grateful to both VACASA and to the owner for that flexibility. It was a bit inconvenient, but at least it was workable. And according to the local manager, the owner has acknowledged the shortcomings on the initially designated pathway and has some intention to remedy that situation. I would be remiss, however, not to mention also that the property including flagstones on the pathway and on spaces between the flagstones has quite a bit of dog excrement on it, which is also unappealing and needs to be dodged, and it would be great if that was kept a little tidier.

Very bright and clean. Perfect size for 2 people. Convenient to Magnolia Village.

Magnolia Cottage is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It's walking distance to a bakery, restaurants, coffee places. But above all, Magnolia Cottage is a perfect place to stay. Impeccably clean and bright, it is very modern with a chic Scandinavian vibe. Comfortable bed and tasteful comfy furniture, great lighting and a kitchen made for cooking. The bathroom is really nice and hot water is plentiful. Mini-split heating make the cottage cozy in cold or rainy weather. A dedicated parking spot in a garage is a real plus for those with a car. This is great for a short stay or for longer stays. Super nice!

This house was perfect in so many ways! Perfect location, great amenities, close to shopping, great views and so much more. I will be back!

Had to work through Vacasa as a middleman.

The place is newly remodeled. We were able to meet with the owner. She was very nice and helped us checked in. There was no key in the outside lockbox from the garage. We could get in the yard because we couldn’t reach the yard entrance/gate. We had to knock on the owner’s doors. The first two hours of our stay did not have water running, it turned out the plumbers broke some pipes. I couldn’t reach any customer service so we had to talk to the owner. This caused some delays for our itinerary but the owner was very accommodating and called the plumbers right away. Everything else is great. The cottage was clean, cute design, and the neighborhood was quiet.

This was a great little place. Didn’t even hear or see the owners which was so nice! It truly felt private and secluded. Very short walk to a great little downtown area. Everything was new and clean. Downtown Seattle is only 5-6 min away. Just a heads up- they do have a coffee maker but no coffee. Might be my only complaint. Overall we enjoyed it!

The apartment had everything we were looking for and the beautiful magnolia neighbourhood was a bonus. I tried to reach the property owner several times via the Vrbo site, but didn't get a response. I had issues with internet going out because of a power outage in the neighborhood and wanted to notify them and to let them know I checked out a day early. I never heard back from either message. Other than communication with property owner, the place was great and would highly recommend.
