Awesome place for family with young kids. Ease of access to pool and beach was great. Short drives to all attractions. iTrip was responsive and helpful with any questions.

Our family had such a wonderful time at Heron's Rest. The location was perfect. Such a short, easy walk to both the beach and pool, and a short drive to so many restaurants and attractions. The condo was perfect for our family of 6. Beds were comfortable, with many extra pillows and blankets. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio space, as well as the hang out area in the garage. The beach supplies (chairs, wagon, beach toys) made our time at the beach so much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

This is our 4th stay at Heron's Rest on Oak Island!! It is such a clean and comfortable condo close to EVERYTHING you need for a weeks stay at the beach! Well equipped kitchen, comfy living and dining area, deck facing the golf course! Best of all, quick walk to the beautiful beach!!! We will DEFINITELY BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!! The property was clean and well organized. Little touches, like usb hubs and storage baskets, helped the place feel functional. Decor was homey and uncluttered.
I would recommend blackout curtains here, as every room is sunny and bright.

Condo is wonderfully located very very close to the beach (2 min walk) and adjacent to the very nice, quiet community pool. Condo complex is older, but the unit has some updates - very nice kitchen. Beds were not tremendously comfortable, but were okay.
Beach is beautiful and not at all crowded. Would definitely consider staying here again.

My two granddaughters loved the beach and pool. We were surprised at how quiet it was there. Wonderful!
We visited Oak Island and Southport… enjoyed the restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, miniature golf.
There was only one pitcher which I used for ice tea, but needed another for lemonade. I bought one and left in cabinet for other guests to use. That was the only thing I needed, but didn’t have. The kitchen was well equipped.
One question, how will my security deposit be refunded?

Heron’s Rest always feels like a home away from home. Always clean and the unit is in an ideal location. Easy to get in contact with property management if needed and so quick to respond. There is nothing negative to share here. Working with Janet and James is always a pleasure. We’re looking forward to our July summer vacation.

A piece of paradise
A beautiful place to stay with family. The updated 3 bedroom floor plan is the perfect size! Plenty of activities for everyone! Close to the beach, pool and golf! Janet was so easy to contact and answered all questions that we had!

Relaxing!
Heron's Rest is an incredibly relaxing space to spend your time away from life! The interior is inviting from the time you walk in the door! Ample space for 6, great cooking area plus a deck overlooking the golf course!!Communication with Janet is superb!! We'll be back for sure!!

Wonderful condo for extended rentals
My family and I stayed at Herons Rest for 7 weeks after a job transfer until our house was ready. Janet was very responsive to questions, and the condo is very well equipped for an extended stay. Thank you for making this a smooth transition for us!

Fantastic location and very comfortable setup
4 of us stayed for an entire month. The location is very comfortable and peaceful, technology setup was great with smartTV and fast internet, appliances were all updated with great cookware. Spot is a couple minute walk to beautiful beach; one of the nicest beaches we've ever been to in terms of sand and space to spread out. Because of the location of the beach facing south, you get to see the sunrise and sunset. In terms of location, you have a dozen or so incredible restaurants (we did mainly take-out) within a couple minute drive and a couple brand new grocery stores (Publix & Lowe's Foods) within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely be returning!

The condo was wonderful. Very clean and comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. I loved the location, easy walk through to beach. We were pleasantly surprised with the large pool. Thanks for letting us stay in your condo.

Great place!
We so enjoyed this property- it is equipped with all of the linens, kitchen supplies, and even beach toys and a wagon! The walk to the beach is short, and both pools are clean and not crowded. We even got to see loggerhead turtles hatch right near the private walkway - we will definitely return to Oak Island and stay here again! Thank you for such a great experience!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quick and easy walk to the beach, where we had lots of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. Janet was quick to respond to every message before and during our trip!

Family getaway
My parents, in-laws, husband and I stayed at this awesome Condo at Caswell Beach. It has a great layout and is close to the pool and not far from the beach. It was very clean and quiet. It has two bedrooms in the front, one with 2 twin beds and one with a double bed. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed and is at the back off the living room and has access to the balcony overlooking the golf course. We had a great time!

Condo was clean, well appointed kitchen. Caswell Dunes is a nice older complex. Tv’s didn’t work, and had to deal with cable company.. Beautiful, quiet beach location

More than we could have ever asked for!
Heron’s rest is exactly what you’re looking for when shopping for beach rentals on Oak Island. Conveniently located to local restaurants and the beach as well as having access to the pool made this a no-brainer for me and my party. As a local to the area I can attest that this location is perfect for a quiet beach getaway! I 100% recommend booking this rental for your next OKI trip!

Everything we needed was there. The beds were very comfortable. Having linen included was nice and having soap, paper towels and toilet paper was very nice.
