We went to celebrate my grandmother's 93rd birthday(she lives nearby), and had the added bonus of having many different family members that are disbursed throughout the east coast come together here. The kitchen size was great for many people to be in helping cook a meal, lots of seating inside and outside for our bunch, and the amenities are a fantastic bonus. Swimming and fishing off the dock, kayak and paddle boat trips, taking pictures on the water at susnset. Its close to lots of things including Margaritaville which was a fun day trip. The main bedroom bed was very comfortable, as was the day beds in the den. The water pressure was great, which is important for me at the end of the day. The laundry room was spacious, and the coffee bar was nice to have. Host was very responsive and great to communicate with. Lots of nice decor/plants, it definitely felt homey. All of my family loved the house and property and made several comments about how great it was that I found it for our occasion. 10/10 would stay again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is well decorated, and has everything you need. I appreciated the ceiling fans in each room and the easy to operate central air that kept the house cool in the Georgia heat. The kids enjoyed the foosball table. It was so nice to have everything we needed provided to enjoy the lake. The paddle boats, canoe, kayaks, noodles and floaties made it easy to get out and have fun. I was thankful to not have to pack those things or rent them. The host Michelle was very nice, responsive and attentive. I would stay here next time I come to Lake Lanier.

House was in a great location; a quiet waterfront home just minutes from shopping and dining. The house was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. There were deer roaming everywhere which the kids loved. We would gladly come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lake Lanier! Michelle was the best host! she was sweet enough to accommodated our flight schedule, beautiful house and view off the dock! Super nice porch sitting. The Lake house everything we needed to make our stay completely comfortable! Will definitely stay again!!

We loved sitting on the dock in the evenings. Kids swam, used the paddle boats to explore, deer would come and eat every morning and evening! Great location and kids loved the Foosball table.

We have stayed in several lake houses on lake Lanier and this was by far our best experience. The house is in a great location close to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed swimming and using the paddle boat and 2 Kayaks. One of the best things that separates this house from others is the very easy walk down to the dock. This was the first lake house where my In-Laws (in their 80’s) have been able to walk to the dock and enjoy the view. I highly recommend this property.

This property was very comfortable and was a unique getaway. Plenty of seating for my family of six plus 5 more visitors. Well stocked with supplies and a great location! Michelle was a great host and we hope to stay again soon.

This was a fantastic stay. Excellent property and communication. The house is perfect for a relaxing weekend. Located in a safe area. Although we did not use, there are alot of amenities on site. The house was clean, comfortable and simply perfect for our needs. We will return when in the area.

Michelle’s place is a quiet cove that opens to a body of water perfect for water sports before getting to “big water.” We waterskied, wake boarded, tubed, canoed, paddle boarded, and floated in the lovely warm water! Jet skied up to Gainesville! Ate, drank at Pirates Pete, fish tales, pig tales, twisted oar. Went to dueling pianos in Buford. And we went to Margaritaville!
Every morning, I sat up on the dock with Cup of coffee on her comfortable chaise lounges. No biting bugs up there and best view!Most of the time it was like our own private lake! Her house was nicely air conditioned, spacious for 8 to play games in her living room. The fosse ball was fun! The kitchen was plenty big and well equipped. The blender rocked for great drinks! The washer dryer were really big. The extra fridge was great!
Beds were really comfortable.
We tubed the chatahoche, biked the beltline, did the trolley tour of Atlanta, got the city pass ( coca come museum, civil rights museum and Aquarium. Golfed x3! I recommend it all! We had our 3 adult 20 something year old kids snd few friends. We made great memories and really maximized our stay! The location for all the things were great. Plus we had hardly any rain. Any store you might need is 20 minutes. Thanks Michelle!!!!

Fantastic Weekend Getaway
Michelle is an amazing host and the house met all of our needs! She has lots of little touches that makes you feel at home. The property is in a quiet little cove and the deer will come out daily to say hi! My friends and I will be visiting again!

A Home away from Home

The home was very clean and comfortable and we felt safe and had every accommodation there that we wanted and needed. My kids want to live there hahaa! Anytime one travels there is always a question of the unknown/unexpected before arrival...and trust is a two way street where the host opens up his or her home to others to respect while staying, while the guests hope for the accurate fulfillment of what they sought out for lodging and accommodations. We had an unfortunate event where we had to move out of our house for a month. Being local to Buford, we needed to find somewhere close that could accommodate all of us - we somehow stumbled on this amazing property!! Nestled in the woods is this amazing retro-fitted cabin of sorts - deceptively large - right on the water!! The property includes a canoe and a paddle boat in case you want to get out. It's also in a quiet cove. The beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable, too!! So much so we're actually considering buying new ones of our own!!! Michelle, the owner, was simply fantastic! Very easy to connect with. Made sure we had everything we needed. And was always just a phone call away. The only downside is that it can get a little warm in the summer. We brought an extra fan with us so that was no problem :-)
If we ever have a need for a weekend getaway or a stay at the lake in the future, we will definitely be back!!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your property!

We enjoyed our last minute getaway to this cozy lake house! The kitchen is much larger than it appears in the photo and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner! Our family enjoyed using the canoe and paddleboard - with plenty of life vests of all sizes available! We also enjoyed the chimera which we used to make smores! There were also a plethora of games available for our kids to stay entertained! Commutations with Michelle were a breeze - she provided great tips and was always prompt to respond, both before we arrived and after we were there. It is a peaceful and quiet area

We enjoyed our last minute getaway to this cozy lake house! The kitchen is much larger than it appears in the photo and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner! Our family enjoyed using the canoe and paddleboard - with plenty of life vests of all sizes available! We also enjoyed the chimera which we used to make smores! There were also a plethora of games available for our kids to stay entertained! Michelle also followed up with me during our stay to check on how everything was and see if we needed anything.
We had a nice fishing vacation with family from out of town.
It was nice to be able to put my boat in the covered dock.
My father is 87 years old and the walk to the dock was a nice gentle slope which he could handle with no issues. We also were able to drive down to the dock if we needed to. It was in a nice quiet cove.
The home is older but in good shape. It was clean and there were plenty of linens and kitchen stuff. The common areas, ie living room, kitchen, dining space, are larger than the pictures show. The home had everything we needed for our stay.
The location is close to downtime Buford, within a 5-10 minute drive which was nice for a few restaurants.
I would definitely look to book this place again.

We will definitely come back, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing home to stay in at the lake.
