Beautiful property but there was a cabin directly overlooking the one we stayed in. The property manager never communicated or responded to my questions. Roaches in the kitchen and food on the floor. Bedspread was very dirty. I wouldn't have left a review but I don't know if anyone even manages this property since no one ever communicated with us about anything.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Very secluded and quiet, which makes it a bit of a drive to town.
The road to the house is very narrow and very steep.

The cabin is exactly as advertised. Was perfect for our family stay. It’s secluded but easy to get to, everything we needed to cook with was there, beds were extra comfy. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Just perfection. We will book again in the future.

My husband, his daughter and I stayed in this cabin for the weekend to get away for his birthday. It was just as described and we really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was very nice and the hosts were available to answer our questions about heating the hot tub. Thanks for a nice getaway!

This property was great for a couple. Not at all secluded as the ad mentions, though, since a cabin sits directly above you and people can look down on your every move. But the cabin itself was fine. It is small but cozy. Really need to do some road maintenance and some more signage would be helpful.

Absolutely loved this property which it tucked in the middle of the woods and is vary isolated and serene. The property was as listed and the owner does a great job of providing needed items which included wood for the fire pit and even a s’mores package. Messaging was prompt and the check in as easy as possible. The one issue is the drive up which is steep and 1 lane but even without a four wheel drive we had no issues as long as we took our time.
If you want to be in the woods and completely free from other neighbors and cabins pick this cabin. It’s a GEM

I want to give this place five stars but there were three things that really should be changed. First of all the bed (and location of the bed) are absolutely terrible. We have stayed in some cabins with awful beds, but this was by far the worst. This bed needs to be upgraded asap! Both my husband and I were up throughout the night the whole time we were there trying to get comfortable, and I am 8momths pregnant so it was way worse for me. Second, the hot tub that was listed in the ad did not work. The heating element is not functioning (we have a hot tub so we know how they work). I was looking forward to sitting in the hot tub in the middle of the woods! Lastly, the grill doesn't work properly -half of it didn't work and it literally took 40 minutes to cook two Ribeyes on in.
Now let me get on to the positives - the location is amazing! It is literally in the middle of the woods and there is only one other cabin nearby, but you really can't see it or are bothered by it unless you have some loud neighbors. The natural surroundings are amazing and I would stay there again specifically for that if this place updated their issues. It's not that far from Bryson City or Nantahala so that was a plus. It really is a perfect getaway for a few days!

We were looking for a cabin with a hot tub near Nantahala, last minute, on Easter weekend. We were very fortunate to have found the Good Life Cabin 1!! The property is so darn cute and scenic, and the view of the stars from the hot tub was incredible. We also had last minute hopes of checking out late, and communicating/ arranging that with the property owner was made easy. Every question we had was met with a prompt and direct answer. We HIGHLY recommend you check this place out!! 12/10 stars!!

Would highly recommend! Bigger than pictures make it out to be & the views are breathtaking. Definitely a win for a mountain get away!! Will be coming back next time with the kids!!

Very clean and comfortable. Fire pit and hot tub on point after days hiking in the park. Beds were comfy and kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few meals. Avoiding gatlinburg/pigeon forge traffic and still getting to enjoy the smokies within a short drive was amazing.

Easy checkin! Cabin was clean and cozy! Tucked away on a small drive from Bryson City. The only thing that scared me was the road to the cabin but my husband has a big truck and was not worried one bit! Close to sights to see!

I highly recommend this adorable property for a getaway! Very clean, awesome hot tub, great fire pit area, and secluded. Only a short drive to Bryson City. Exceptionally comfy little cabin with all the amenities you will need. Great price and excellent communication with the hosts. Book this cabin and you won’t be disappointed !

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay - the cabin was cozy and the perfect size for the 2 of us. We were looking for a secluded place to relax and enjoy our time in, and near, Bryson City and this cabin did not disappoint.

My wife and vacation a lot in this area. This cabin was the cleanest we have stayed in, in years. Hats off the the cleaning people, they really know what their doing. Also things are well thought out. Like places to hang things, etc. If I could add one thing it would be a nice bright LED light above the kitchen sink area, too dark, can't see what your doing.

Great cozy cabin
Cozy cabin, any from any hustle and bustle. Very cute cabin that everything you need for a relaxing time in the woods. The Rocking chairs on the covered porch were great especially when I was raining. The fire pit was great. Very close to everything you need as far as stores, restaurants and all outdoor activities. We definitely plan to visit again.

Great cozy cabin with just what you need tucked away in the woods. All the basic needs are met and it even has wifi which is not always the case in the woods! Only downfall for us is that tall people have to duck in the loft (but most people aren't above 6'3"- so you should be fine!)

Perfect cabin for two. Secluded. Perfect location for us to get away from everyday life. Great communication and quick responses. Thankful we drove the truck because we were unable to get out of the driveway without 4 wheel drive.

Wonderful secluded cabin
Fantastic cozy little cabin secluded up in the hills. It was an amazing getaway for my wife and I for our anniversary, and the host was fantastic in helping with anything we needed. Truly a wonderful memory made with my wife here. Highly recommend!
