We really loved staying here. The property was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The location was perfect and safe- close to Redondo Beach and wonderful views to walk in the neighborhood. We appreciated the extra touches, like the tea and popcorn, provided by the host. The check in process was easy. It was a great place to stay and definitely will book again when back in the area.

Great place! Location was ideal close to shopping and what we needed. The home was well supplied with some thoughtful additions as well. The space was great! The common areas like the living room, kitchen & bathroom were huge spaces. Hottub was a great touch. It was under the covered porch so was an additional living space outside. We had a great time hanging out outside. A few stairs to get to the property, Nothing crazy but they were slightly pitched so if you have elderly guests keep that in mind. Nothing we were bothered with though. There is an upstairs property that is well seperated. No one was there during our stay. But plenty of property so no worries. All in all a great stay if you don't mind upstairs neighbors. This would be a great property to rent both units if you have a large gathering. The neighborhood was great. We always felt safe and secure there.

We liked a few things: the in-law had a nice hot tub; the place was warm, clean, nicely decorated, and had a great view; and the manager was a nice person. HOWEVER, there were eight things that we didn't like at all: 1) It took multiple efforts on our part to get a code for check-in, right up until 45 minutes before we arrived. 2) The fireplace didn't work. 3) Seven light bulbs were out and a tv remote had dead batteries. 4) There was a big party upstairs until 3am and it was LOUD - music, dancing, running, shouting, furniture being moved around... The manager called and asked them to stop the party. The people didn't stop, and the manager said that we should have understood when we agreed to stay there that there would be other people in the home, and that there was no way to control the noise unless it was loud enough to disturb the people in neighboring houses. In other words, the guests downstairs have no right to expect quiet at any time. But we had to sign a contract that said no parties and that quiet time started at 10:30, so that seemed like a horrible and inappropriate response. 5) There is no railing for the long, outdoor stairway down to the in-law apartment. That is dangerous - especially carrying luggage. 6) There was no blanket on the main bed - just a sheet and a thin summer weight coverlet. In late December! 7) When we arrived, the driveway and stairs were fully encased in ice from a storm that had come through the night before. No one had warned us of this - even when they sent us the entry code less than an hour before we arrived. My husband, after sliding down the entire driveway with luggage, salted the whole thing with chemicals with his bare hands. ***To be fair, the manager did buy us a pizza and breadsticks, since the road was so steep and icy that we couldn't leave to get food for ourselves - even with our four wheel drive SUV. We were very grateful and tipped the delivery man quite a lot. 8) Even though we tried to reach the owner and manager MANY times during the party that lasted til 3am, no one ever offered us a single dime off our stay!!!!! We've stayed at dozens of VRBO homes over more than a decade, and most are great - I've never written a bad review before. But this was definitely the worst stay we've ever had. This rental ruined our Christmas. I waited 10 days to write this so I could see if the owner or manager ever did anything to make any of this right with us. They did NOT.

Very Pleasant Place

You will not be disappointed renting this place. Everything went as well as it possibly could. My friends and their children were all really impressed and so was I. If we ever need a place back up in the WA area we will rent again.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Apartment is lovely and beautifully decorated. Kitchen and baths were amazing!

Super fantastic spot to stay. Easy to find and such thoughtful touches on property. Great communication with host. Would come back to stay again!
