This property was in a great location. Close to shopping and close to the local beaches. The extra amenities added to the house (snacks, shampoos/conditioners, items you may have forgotten) was just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Very close to downtown area and beach area accessible by walking, biking or driving. Many thoughtful amenities provided by hosts. The only thing I would change is the bedding was too firm for our taste as we prefer a more comfort level.

Stayed for a work trip for the week and I can’t say enough. Beautiful property, plentiful stock of cooking utensils and more than enough games and television entertainment access. It was a pleasure to stay even though most time was spent at work but when in the home it felt like home. Highly recommend for a stay in Tawas for any occasion.

This property has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay in the Tawas Bay Area! This lovely home away from home is FULL of amenities to relax and enjoy your family complete with a stocked kitchen, comfortable spaces for everyone to hang out, and comfortable bedrooms to retire to when you’ve maybe had TOO much family time and just need a little down time. It is super close to downtown, yet it in a quiet neighborhood. Our property manager let us enjoy the space without being at all intrusive but was super easy to get in contact with if we had questions. I HIGHLY recommend this property!

House was immaculate clean. We’ll equipped. Very comfortable. It is a “manufactured “ house and typical inexpensive construction and fixtures. Neighborhood is close to the lake and the village, but quite modest in character. Overall very good if you need to be in East Tawas which is a small friendly tourist town.

The couple weeks we spent in the house were two amazing weeks. They house was tidy and had everything you could possibly need. Best House I have ever rented and can’t wait to rent it again in the future!

Very clean, well stocked home. We were up for a weekend wedding and the location was perfect, walking distance to beach, town and wedding venue! Would book again.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was just as described and included many extras that many rentals do not provide. They provided snacks, water and some other food at check-in. It was clean and nicely decorated. We were close to town and could walk to dinner and ice cream in about 7-8 minutes. We were close to the boat launch and beaches. We would definitely stay again.

The location was close to the down town area. The house was well stocked for a family on vacation. The owner gave clear directions and was easy to contact! We had a great time!

One suggestion. If I had known the door timer did not work until 4 PM Check in process would have been good

This was the perfect getaway! The amenities were outstanding, location was perfect and the hosts were so kind and the house was amazing! Plenty of room for our family! We will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful host. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the property and the thoughtfulness of the host. We arrived late at night and had a full breakfast made of the items already stocked including a dozen eggs, new milk, and loaf of bread. We were easily able to walk back and forth to town with our small children.

Highly recommend this large, spotless, comfortable house. The house doesn't look big from the outside, but you will be so surprised on how large it actually is. Having a large 2 car attached garage was the cats meow. Never had a garage included in a rental. It was found to be extremely useful to unload, store the coolers, beach chairs and such.... This house had all the amenities you may need for a week or to just move in. Owners had made sure you would want to cook in this kitchen for a nice big breakfast or a nice cooked in meal. The kitchen had it all: nice amount of counter space, all sorts of utensils, huge assortment of pots and pans, 2 different kinds of coffee makers, waffle iron, hand mixer, air fryer, and all the cooking and baking needs one would use for a "summer or winter" vacation. From BBQ dinners to a large snowed -in kind of day. How does a slow cooker bowl of chili in front of a fireplace sound? Thanksgiving? Roaster pan including the meat thermometer was there! House away from home, loaded spice rack, including sprinkles and food colouring. ( we celebrated my birthday while there) breakfast and dinner stuff in the pantry, games, puzzles and books for all ages, fast internet and good tv's. BONUS: excellent air conditioning! Now to the amenities in the other rooms, large comfortable seating, 2 huge rooms (1 living room, the other a family room with a gas fireplace) 5 tv's, 3 bedrooms with large amount of dresser space and all with YES walk-in VERY large closet space. Bedrooms set up with easy to use, modern clock radios, with charging stations. Owners were attentive, and responded quickly to our questions before renting and during our stay. We would highly recommend this rental. Neighborhood was so quiet but still close to town and the bay. We saw rabbits and even deer in the neighbors yard! You won't be disappointed.

Literally just got home from vacation, and could not wait to leave a review! This home is a must stay at! The home has brand new flooring, freshly painted. Clean and nice appliances. Now, when I say they have thought of everything a guest could need, I’m not exaggerating! The kitchen is stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need to cook or bake. Tons of pots and pans, food storage containers, dishes and utensils. They even surprised us with some starter snacks, eggs, bread, milk, water bottles and K-cups. They supplied toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, baggies, trash bags, aluminum foil, Saran Wrap, paper plates, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, new tooth brushes, toothpaste, and disposable razors. Above and beyond. This is huge in my book. All these extras add up. The air conditioning was set at 70 degrees, and was very comfortable. It cranks! We actually got a chill a couple times. Nice to have a cool house in the summer. You can adjust it. They do not have it locked. The home is very clean. Tons of towels, extra blankets, Box fans, ironing board and iron, and hair dryers in both bathrooms. Games and coloring fun. Walking distance to the beach and to downtown for eating and shopping. Perfect location. Extremely quiet neighborhood. To say we had a wonderful stay is an understatement. Do not hesitate to book! Owner is very friendly and responsive.
