Very relaxing weekend, no problems with the rental the complete weekend.

Beautiful house. Very spacious house.

The inside of the property was impeccable and there was a ton of room. The upkeep of the outdoor property was a little lacking, but didn't affect our stay.

The house is very nice & as pictured in the listing. Great touches like leaving us wine & breakfast food. It’s winter so we didn’t get to use the pool, but the pool/deck area is nice. The property was perfect for what we were looking for, which was an event venue for a small wedding. Other than that, you’d have to have a reason to be in Kyle TX to take advantage of the area, which is nothing special from a recreation, etc. standpoint.

We were hosting family for our daughter's TXST graduation and this home accommodated our entire family perfectly. The location allowed us to avoid I-35 and sneak into San Marcos the back way, only a 15 minute commute. The field beyond the backyard has a beautiful hill country view that allowed us to capture gorgeous cap and gown photos of our girl. The home was absolutely perfect for entertaining! The spacious kitchen made it easy to set up a fajita buffet, along with appetizers, drink station, and dessert bar. The split layout and second living space allowed everyone to spread out. It was nothing less than perfection! All guests had positive things to say about their comfortable mattresses, pillows, and fresh linens. A unique feature that isn't shown on the listing is a dressing table located next to a window in the master bathroom, which made make-up application ideal for our special event. The photos on the VRBO website don't do this home justice! The decor and furnishings are so unique, warm and inviting. We all had the same expressions when we walked in and the decorated Christmas tree was an unexpected surprise. The host was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised that many of the departing duties that are usually required at vacation rentals were not requested. The only con was the backyard could use some maintenance (tall grass in some areas, overgrown shrubs, and tree debris), but the interior and view made up for it. Overall, it was a great stay and look forward to booking again! Eat 'Em Up, Cats!

This was a perfect spot for us to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. The kitchen was perfect for cooking/entertaining. Spacious sleeping arrangements. Beautiful expansive property. Perfect for star gazing!!! Highly recommend this location for bringing people together!

We had a few minor issues upon arrival but they replied promptly and sent owner to resolve. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. We sat on the porch and watched deer. The pool looked great but it was cold and rained. We can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer. Great place for family to come and enjoy. It was a few blocks from the wedding venue we attended. Loved the place and highly recommend. We will be back.

Plenty to do within miles of property. Property was spacious enough for all our family to stay together and enjoy. We told stories, caught up on life…was such FUN!

The home is very spacious and has a beautiful kitchen. The pool really came in handy with temperatures over 105 degrees. Lots of room outside for the dogs to run. Some of the neighboring dogs like to come and visit as well. All issues and concerns were immediately responded to by the owner and fixed.

This was our second time to stay here. We love this home. Lots of space and big bedrooms. It’s so quiet on the property. Very nice to get away from all the noise and bustle of the city. We called the owner with some questions and she answered right away. She was very available the whole time we were there if we needed anything.

The house was wonderful and clean. The host added several nice things like wine and cheese plus some breakfast items. There were plenty of pool towels as well as bath towels. The rooms were large and comfortable. We loved having several areas of living space for games and quite conversation. It was a perfect house for our family!! I highly recommend this home.

This was a great property. Close to the wedding we were attending. It had plenty of space and the backyard is great. The added touches of wine and cheese and breakfast were especially nice.

The property was very accommodating for our family. Bedrooms were a good size and living spaces were comfortable. There was a day of inconvenience due to a heating system not working during a cold weekend. I had to stay at the house to let in multiple HVAC workers throughout my he day. This kept me from completing wedding prep. The solution was multiple space heaters in living area and bedrooms.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

We had a nice family Christmas get away for all family to gather at a central local. Accommodations at the Kyle house were big enough for all. They were lovely and more than adequate. They even had a Christmas tree up. Furnishings were extraordinarily nice. Everything we needed was provided and thoughtfully addressed. We needed for nothing!

Large bedrooms and lots of space to spread out and enjoy the home. Well stocked kitchen, except a few more pot holders would be nice. Some dirty dishes in cabinets. Porches and large outdoor area for kids to run around.

My wife and I rented out this property for the weekend to have our wedding ceremony and it was absolutely everything that we could of ever wanted. The property met all of our needs in every way. It was an outdoor wedding and the property itself outside was fabulous. This property was amazing and Sheri the owner was absolutely fantastic and so easy to work with. I would recommend anyone staying here.

Four couples stayed at the house while our daughters were playing volleyball in San Marcos and we all had a great time. The house was perfect for relaxing and cooking for a larger group. The porch and back patio as well as the area around the pool were great for hanging around. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We had no issues whatsoever and enjoyed the hospitality a great deal!

Unfortunately, our vacation experience was disappointing. Outdoor trashcan was full from previous renters therefore we had to put our trashbags outside the can. The smell from that side of the house was not pleasant. Full disclosure of pool should be stated as it is an above ground pool and would have been nice to know. The water was murky and worsened everyday. Reached out to owner and he said his pool company was closed on Tuesday, then later said there was a shortage on pool chemicals. Pool guy finally came the day before we were leaving. Wasp nest on back patio with lots of wasps. Our guys took down the nest. Ownership of property changed hands the month before our stay. We found out as we met the owner when we arrived. Hopefully, he will fix the issues so other guests have the same experience as other reviews. Property manager offered to send a gift card after bringing the issues to her attention. Nice gesture but never received anything.

This property is everything the pictures say it is. The house was very clean. The pool was spotless. Everything worked perfectly. Sheri is easy to communicate with, and such a gracious host. 10/10 recommend.
