Comfortable and quite spacious

Central location in Ilkley close to everything shops, rail station and countryside but quiet too.
Very little info for the apartment and what to visit in surrounding area. We had a problem with the hot water and no info to help. Made contact with owner but lots of texts back and forth as couldn’t phone as hit and miss signal apparently. Advised to turn emersion heater on at switch in hall but very worried as switch red hot when turned it on but advised not to worry it was fine! We were woken up by a loud bang a couple of nights later and the fuse box had blown the problem being the emersion heater. Can’t help but think electrician should have been called after us notifying of red hot switch!
We travelled up to Ilkley by motorcycle and initially found it difficult to park, as road we were advised to park on was very steep and motorcycles need a flat surface to park on with little camber. Tricky on some Ilkley roads. We did find a road fairly close again after many texts backwards and forwards.

Good location, nice lounge, comfy bed
Had an issue with electrics tripping.We had a period without heating or lighting.. Had to resolve myself as electrician didn't turn up.Circuit to hot water heater was tripping. Access up to 2nd floor apartment via external steel stairs ok for us but would be an issue for less mobile.

Location excellent - very close to train and bus station
Spacious rooms with lovely views from sitting room
well equipped kitchen
electricity was not working properly on arrival - we reported the problem immediately and an electrician did arrive within 2 hours. He was able to quickly identify the problem - a faulty heater in the hallway - and get all other sockets and lights working.
We were not warned in advance that access to the property was up 3 flights of an external staircase - this could have been a real issue for some people.
We never fully understood how to control the heating.

The location is excellent near center of town and shops. Is located on a quite street with very little nose and also in very safe area,

Perfect location right by the station and central ilkley
Sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable if you have more than 2 people staying

Location was ok for the town and being near to our family in Ilkley.
Very nice clean bathroom and comfortable bed.
We didn’t like the fact we had to climb two flights of a metal staircase that wasn’t very well lit.
Builders were working nearby therefore there was some noise.
We had to phone the owners to get directions for the apartment as it was in a back road.

Good central location in Ilkley, right next to the train station. Nice apartment with good views across Ilkley to Middleton. Host responded quickly and was helpful when we enquired about parking options.
There is on road meter parking nearby but this is nearly all time limited during the day to a few hours. Access to the apartment is via a metal staircase that resembles a fire escape so not a very good first impression.

Beautiful accommodation with fantastic elevated view. Very well equipped and decorated with a glorious large sitting room. Brilliant central location. Ideal for a couple.
