All Ceiling fans have about 1/2 inch of dust on them. In one of the bedrooms the drawers would not fit properly into the dresser and on the night stand there was smears of peanut butter and jelly. There are some mystery stains on the coffee table. The outside windows we know are hard to keep clean but looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile. When we arrived after 4:00 in the hall bathroom there was evidence that work was in progress on toilet. I called downstairs and they said that yes a workman was still there because he had not turned in the key. About 5 he should up and finished project. We did not want to leave condo until this was finished. The reason I tell all this is for the $$ for cleaning afterwards the job was done very poorly. The overall condo fit our needs perfectly but I was disappointed in cleanliness of unit. My husband and I have stayed in other condos at DB and have never seen such a mess.

We had a great stay, however we did run into a few issues. The balcony door, did NOT have a latch lock and the bar lock was broken off laying on the door track upon arrival. Maintenance came and installed a latch lock, that didn’t even align with the locking mechanism inside the door so it still didn’t lock, called again about issue and it was never fixed with two days left in our stay. This made our stay very nerve racking as we have 2 little ones under the age of three being on the fifth floor balcony. Also, upon arriving all lights/outlets in master bedroom did not work, the breaker box tripped, this happened twice on our stay and my husband had to fix it. Even after he turned the breaker box back on the ceiling fan lights still did not work. Beds could be upgraded. However, the amenities in the condominium complex itself was phenomenal! Amazing pool, game room, kid play room and more. The path to the beach could definitely be better but still was nice compared to most on Galveston island where crossing the road was not necessary for this place.

For those coming in late - there are no coffee filters for the standard coffee machine, no coffee provided. The Keurig also had zero coffee pods provided. Be sure to bring your own. In fact the fridge and pantry were completely empty, no salt, pepper or sugar. The floors were so dirty we wore socks for safety. The socks had to be thrown away. All three beds (one king, two queens) were literally so hard that our backs hurt and sleep was difficult. The most difficult part was the glass sliding door to the balcony. It was almost frozen in place, extremely difficult to open so the balcony was pretty much off limits. All these things are an easy fix - the furnishings were nice - so if cleaned, memory foam toppers for beds, sliding door repaired, and pods for the Keurig added, it could be 5 star. Maybe a new management company added by owner?

The property is nice and plenty of room for 6. The refrigerator was broke so they stuck another one in front of it which took up kitchen space. The patio was dirty and needs to be updated. Kids enjoyed the game room & heated pool.
