If you call Tim Horton's Doughnuts eating but all good! The Edward is amazing it is the second time I have stayed here. It is quiet clean and unlike any hotel I have ever stayed in and will definitely be back!
The only complaint I have is in the Puritan room the large windows over the bed made it hard to sleep in!!

Really comfortable bed in eccentrically decorated room. Helpful communication via WhatsApp from staff. Parking available in a small car park on the property - they provide a parking pass.

Room was updated and clean. Check in was a breeze. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Great value. We loved it.
We were freezing at night and had to sleep with our winter coats over top of us. We didn’t reach out to the hotel for help so it’s very possible they would have been able to rectify it, we were just tired and wanted to sleep.

Everything about this place was pleasant, clean, beautiful.
Zero insulation between first & second floor. It literally sounded like the people upstairs were going to crash through the ceiling. Woke us up even.

Very quaint, absolutely gorgeous room, large fireplace, huge shower with rainfall head, even LED lights around the headboard!
Parking is a little sparse but really wasn’t bad at all.

The Room - Beautiful, comfortable, stylish, elegant, modern, timeless. The suite was a single bedroom with a queen sized bed, a sitting area with two settees, a small bar with sink, and a working gas fireplace - very cozy.
The Bathroom - standing shower, modern design, rainfall shower head (not enough pressure in this style for my taste).
The Parking Lot - with enough space for at least six vehicles, the lot should have been large enough to accommodate a guest in every room. The street parking around the building was all taken for blocks around. Because the staff neglected to shovel the driveway after it had been plowed, the guests that arrived before me had taken up most of the available space in the lot. So before I could even go up to my room, I had to shovel my own parking space next to the garage (which I came to find out was empty and would have bene a perfect spot for my vehicle). Between other guests being thoughtlessly inconsiderate with their parking, and the lack-luster snow removal by staff, I spent nearly two hours shoveling frozen heavy snow and ice from two, not one but two, parking spots as when I returned from running to Wegmans, my spot had been taken by another guest...You're welcome :)
The Flexibility - The staff failed to accommodate even the smallest requests for more towels and pillows. They also were not very considerate about late checkout, even though I had only arrived at 11PM...they would only permit a 30-minute extension before I incurred a charge of $75.00/hour should I need more time.

The bed was comfortable
the shower has no door so water got onto the floor, the toilet didn't flush super well though staff responded quickly when I inquired. I was on the ground floor and garbage trucks were outside my window on the street at 7am

It is beautiful
When asked to confirm our stay it was incorrect. I booked a wrong date, but asked if it was for sat and they refused to respond.
When we arrived we used the code given a day late and surprised the people in the room. They didn’t change the codes.

The building was spacious with large rooms. The room was well stocked with towels and had soap/shampoo/conditioner in the shower. Our room and bathroom were both very clean. It was a short walk to a delightful sushi dinner and morning coffee.

Great hotel. Large rooms. Cool decor. Super location (interesting residential section with a walk to good restaurants). The text interaction was helpful and courteous and questions were answered promptly. The gummy bears and pretzels were a nice touch.
Did not see or hear a soul the entire time. If you are looking for complete privacy this is the place. Maybe something written down in the room about, well, anything would add a welcoming touch.

Beautiful accommodations! Easy to locate in a welcoming neighborhood and lots of good walking options. Rooms were beautiful and clean. A plush night’s sleep!

For the price... it was quite unspectacular. All entries are self-serve. No staff. No check-in. Room was fine.

The ceiling in the room should have renovated to avoid all the noise of walking people consecutively, we were uncomfortable with it when resting on bed.

I really liked that it was all remote. It felt like we had a lot of privacy and it was cozy.
The room was a little bit boring for the price. I think The Alexander was the most plain of all so I was slightly sad to get that one.

beautifully restored property in a lovely neighbourhood. incredibly comfortable beds with a very small bathroom yet plenty of shower room and a tv large enough for me to read subtitles again! close by is an excellent taco restaurant, get there during happy hour and it’s even better , TCB (tacos, community, beer)
it is run much as an Airbnb though I booked as a hotel so you do need to be comfortable with self check in and using keypads for entry points, not a deterrent for me but should be noted while booking

The room called The Madison was spacious with a fireplace and very comfortable. We loved it very much. Hotel close to the town and cafes, definitely recommended

Great location. Easy self check-in system. Parking on-site. Quaint but beautiful room. Comfortable bed.
Temperature control was an issue. Cold and drafty, heater takes a while to warm up the space. No mirror in bathroom. Checkout is an hour earlier than most hotels.

Other than that it was a gorgeous hotel. Comfy bed too.
Bath wouldn’t stop draining. Couldn’t get the stopper to work.
Smoke alarm wouldn’t stop tweeting so we had to take it out.
Both a/c units weren’t working making my night awful and sleep impossible.

The Edward is a wonderful hotel - I stayed there during a recent business trip and was delighted with every aspect of my stay. The hotel is stylish and beautifully designed; the rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable; the location is ideal; and the atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and cozy. The hotel has a self check-in system that is secure, safe, and easy to navigate. And, the owner - Erin - was so helpful and accommodating during my stay. I recommend The Edward unreservedly - it is a lovely place to stay!

This place is great; it's unique. I guess every room is different. The ceilings are like 13 feet high. A Walk-in shower with no tub/glass. Clean. Staff texts you in the morning to see if you need anything. The cost isn't bad. Check-in is done via text.
If you stay downstairs and have people above you, you will hear them walking around, unlikely any riff-raff, though. Parking is a bit challenging but manageable. TV selection is meh.

Everything!!! It offers a perfect “vibe” in a great location, with with beautifully decorated common areas and private rooms. A great repurposing of a lovely old home. The offsite staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly.

Everything was stunning. I absolutely loved the decor and the bathrooms!! I’m not one to leave reviews but this is an amazing spot and I will be returning to try a different room!
Walls were a bit thin. Someone was playing music late the night we stayed and it was kind of loud. Not really a big deal.
