The house is in a perfect location with beautiful views and access to the sound. Very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay; kitchen, bathroom supplies, etc. Close to the beaches and restaurants. We rented kayaks and enjoying taking them out on the sound. The hot tub was great! Nice, quiet neighborhood.

Great house on beautiful sound and dock was amazing for fantastic sound access.
Issues with VACASA sending us the wrong codes to get in for 20 hours. Communication was poor and luckily we found a broken sliding glass door to get in!! VACASA did refund some of our money for this ridiculous inconvience but needs to update their customer service lines and send lockout emergency numbers immediately!
House was clean but lacked bath towels until we called and texted many times. Kitchen needs to be updated. We did not have enough dishes/silverware or cookware for a house of 7. Decks and fishing gear were wonderful!

This place has everything you need for a lovely week on the sound in Buxton. We loved that it was so close to everything (apple uglies daily) and yet feels secluded and removed. Everything was in working order and despite some minor check in delays with codes etc from Vacasa it was a wonderful stay! The dock is just everything and the views are breathtaking all day long. If you have to be inside the kitchen is where we spent our time cooking, doing puzzles at the table, playing cards etc. the owners have supplied everything you could need so well. The elevator worked great for my husband and my dog and I would race it to meet him at the dock! We hope to come back here again! the only feedback we have is we like a softer bed so if you are like us bring your mattress topper if you can! And we didn’t find the couches comfy but we weren’t there to watch TV so it didn’t impact our stay at all. Lovely wonderful magical outerbanks home!

Washer & dryer don't work, house is filthy, floor sinking in, refrigerator doesn't shut, mold in many areas in home, no ceiling in bathroom, & much more! DO NOT RENT!

Nice private, quiet location. The sound view and pier/deck are amazing. The bathrooms need updating. The outside shower is useless. Home desperately needs a clothesline or somewhere to hang wet towels, swimsuits etc securely.

The view from Lazy Daze is the best! The very, very long dock makes for lovely evening strolls andthe new updates bring a freshness to the home. It was a joy to spend two weeks here.

The pier and walkway to the sound is wonderful. Great for fishing and taking great sunset photos.

Perfect secluded get-away
If you’re looking for a beautiful home off the beaten path, Lazy Daze is your home! This is our 3rd time staying here and it certainly won’t be the last. The walkway to the sound is perfect for sunbathing, swimming in the sound, fishing, etc. The home itself has been updated recently and is perfect for a few small families! We highly recommend!

Loved the view of the sound and the private dock was enjoyed everyday. Along with the steps down to the sound were such a nice addition. Inside the home was one of the cleanest of all our stays and we’ve been visiting OBX for over 16 years. Thank you for an enjoyable week!!

Overall the home up this point in our beach vacations at The OuterBanks, has been the best home we have rented. We loved this house so much I booked it again for next year! The master bed was bit hard but for a week it was fine. We had everything we needed in the kitchen! I was hoping for more outdoor furniture, maybe some chairs for the deck. My Husband and kids had a great time fishing off the dock and we rented kayaks for our trip as well. I really liked the downstairs and quick access to getting to the cars when unpacking and packing. The location on the sound/canal was amazing. We rented kayaks and really enjoyed using them.
