Great home for a family vacation! It's about 10-15 minutes from the SD School of Mines Campus, 15-20 minutes from Mt. Rushmore. Quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were very kind. Great location to stay at when you're looking to be near the tourist attractions and yet not in the middle of any crazy hustle and bustle. The beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean, kitchen was well stocked with essentials. They even had a couple of air mattresses in the laundry room and a playpen. If you're traveling as a family, this place has you all set! :)

House was very spacious, clean, modern, and centrally located for us to reach all of our Black Hills tourist spots

Enjoyed the quiet neighbor hood, the walking to Chapel in the Hills, the great location to parks and points of interest.

Clean house with a few quirks. The basement is very cool if you have the upstairs at a normal temperature. It's a great sleeping temperature, but really cold to hang out down there which is a shame because it's a nice big TV area. Also if the upstairs people get up before the downstairs people, it's very very loud. You can hear every step. If you only need the two upstairs bedrooms, I'd say this is the perfect place to stay! I had a maintenance issue, which the owner/manager took care of promptly. Overall 5 stars, a great stay.

Great place to stay. Clean and good location.

We came to S. Dakota for spring vacation, and this was within driving range of all of the places we wanted to visit. Having the deer come see us every morning added to the charm of this wonderful house. We would definitely recommend and come back.

This house was the perfect place for our family to spend the weekend. We needed a place that had a little more space and common living areas than a hotel and it was nice that everyone got their own room. The beds seemed to have all different types of matresses so there's something for everyone. The couches are really comfortable and we spent both nights of our short stay downstairs watching movies together. Bathrooms were nice and showers had plenty of hot water. The only thing we couldn't find that we could have used was a box of tissues. The location was out of town enough that it felt secluded. We even watched some deer stroll through the neighborhood. Our vehicle's navigation was able to get us right to the driveway. Getting into town and to the attractions and shopping we needed was still easy. It only took about 10 minutes to get most places. Also worth noting that we got there just after a decent snow storm. The roads were in good condition and the driveway and sidewalk were shoveled. Though we did find that the outdoor light by the front door didn't work so it was hard to read the house number when we got there in the dark. We visit Rapid City a few times a year and my teenagers are already asking if we can stay here again instead of a hotel.
