Can’t say enough good things about our experience here! Most places look great in pics but the reality falls short. This is one of those very unusual properties where the lived experience actually surpassed the high expectations. Spectacular views from everywhere in the house, wonderful deck with hot tub and a gas fire pit to keep warm at night. A nice (but strenuous) hike to the beach. The kids and the adults all had a great time, and Patricia was a highly professional and responsive host. Could not have been better in any way. 5 stars is barely enough!!!

Two couples, both in our early 60s, were looking for a relaxing holiday weekend getaway, and we very much enjoyed ourselves at Sea-renity! Communications from the owners were clear and prompt. We especially appreciated the online guide they provided, and went to several of the suggested restaurants and activities. Every recommendation was spot on. The view from the home was wonderful, and we enjoyed good weather. The home was well-appointed with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, a nice kitchen with a coffee pot and accoutrements, dishes/glassware, a nice TV, a hot-tub (started each morning in the hot tub, enjoying the ocean view from the deck) and even a packet of local salt water taffy upon arrival. We would recommend this vacation home.

For Thanksgiving week in 2022, we had our entire immediate families fly in from all over the country to visit us. With a total of 17 people, including ourselves, our parents, siblings, and their children, we split everyone across three houses in Bodega Harbour South, including our own and two rental properties. What makes this review particularly noteworthy is that my Greek immigrant mother, known for her discerning eye and relentless criticism, surprised us all with her enthusiastic praise for our stay at Sea-renity Bodega. Her approval speaks volumes about the owners, who have truly created an unforgettable and delightful experience. From the moment we arrived at the rental property, it was clear that the owners went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay for their guests. We were astounded by the abundance of amenities. The availability of extra towels, pillows, blankets, as well as fine soaps, shampoo, lotions, and a variety of spices in the cabinet, showcased their thoughtful attention to detail. It was the small touches that set Sea-renity Bodega apart. Neatly folded napkins added a touch of elegance and reflected the care put into every aspect of our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful sleep for everyone. Outside, the manicured gardens and shrubbery offered stunning views of the Pacific Ocean from hot tub or not, creating such a serene atmosphere that will make you not want to leave. What truly surprised us was witnessing my mother’s transformation during her stay. Her overwhelmingly positive response to Sea-renity Bodega was a departure from her usual critical nature. This property was delightful. Our family had 2 rentals, and we won the lottery. This truly was a home-away-from-home experience for us. Every detail was designed for guest comfort and convenience. Both the house and setting were gorgeous. The wildlife show outside the sliding glass doors was true entertainment. Hosts even had food to feed them! We will be back.

We had amazing time. The house is very well equipped with board games, plenty of chairs, pantry was fully stocked. Overall perfect!

5 of us stayed at Sea-Renity in March 2023 and it was a beautiful vacation! The home is immaculate with the most comfortable bedding, towels, and other furnishings. We have stayed in numerous VRBOs and I have never seen such a well stocked kitchen! We enjoyed cooking in the home every day, relaxing in the hot tub, and watching the sunset every night. We will definitely be back in the future and look forward to many happy family memories at this beautiful home!

First of all - location, location, location! The expanse of the pacific ocean is mesmerizing and views abound. There are trails leading down to the beach and lots of wildlife ready to pay a visit. The house is super comfy, everything was clean and in condition. If you like to cook, you are in for a real treat - the kitchen has everything! It's well laid out and makes the most of the footprint with lots of storage and good organization. We kind of obsessed over the fridge ... I can't say enough good things about this house.

Stunning house! The best vocational house we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful view, exceptional hosts! Beach chairs, night lights, the amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms are 5-star hotel quality, perfect beds with high quality sheets. There are toothbrushes and toothpaste, sunscreen, makeup remover and the body wash is so good. There were beautiful fresh flowers on the dining table. the house is spotless. Great appliances in the kitchen, even coffee grinder. The view is breathtaking. There was just not enough time to enjoy all of it! Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.

Beautiful property, wonderful location, but finicky association, and you really have to be quiet and its hard to be outside after 10 pm. Even normal conversation or laughing disturbs the neighbors.

Just spent four wonderful days at Sea-renity for a much needed vacation. The house was stocked with just about anything anyone would need. First class accommodations, amenities, and view. There is not enough room to write down all the positives of staying here. The opportunity to sprinkle the area outside area with wildlife feed and then watch the results was special. We will be back!

This was just what we needed. The Ocean View was just as pictured and even better in person. The home was beyond accommodating. Perfect for a double date get away with friends. The home was spacious, very clean and all the little details to make our stay convenient in every way!

My family and I booked this place because we really needed a place to relax. We are so glad we did! The peace and quiet was so welcoming. The home was comfy, and well stocked, we literally wanted for nothing. The guides that were set out were a Godsend, and Patricia checked in every morning to see if we needed anything. We saw a mama deer and her babies every morning. The Shorttail Gulch trail right near the house was beautiful. The beach down there is basically private. We saw starfish, and sea urchins, plenty of clams and mussels. One of the afternoons some jelly like creatures washed up, and then away by the next morning. Very cool. We went into 'town', it's a very tiny place, for food, and did some shopping. Thanks to the guides set out we had some good suggestions to go off of. Also, went down to Bodega to see the schoolhouse from the movie The Birds, and did some shopping there at an antique shop. We did the Bodega Head Trail hike, a short 15 minute drive up, so worth it. Amazing views! We didn't get to Doran Beach but it's 5 minutes up the road. All in all I would say we got to experience so many things in the home and around. We only spent a few hours each day out of the house. We loved being inside with the cool breeze coming in, reading, watching movies, and playing games together. The hot tub and the ping pong table were family faves! It was a fun, peaceful trip, and we were sad to go. We will definitely be coming back!

I stayed here with my husband, 2 year old daughter, parents, brother, and his partner. The 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is incredibly open concept which we found very nice, as the point of the trip was to be able to spend time together as a family. We made good use of the hot tub on the deck in the evenings, had a lovely backyard lunch overlooking the whole bay, and were absolutely mesmerized by the jackrabbits, deer, quail, and other birds we saw running through the property. (My brother even came across a bobcat one day!) The views of the bay and the ocean were amazing from this house; everyone agreed the view was even better than what we expected from the pictures. It was a beautiful scene to wake up to every morning. Everyone on the trip raved at how well stocked the house was with beach towels, toys, games, and a FULLY stocked kitchen (we cooked several meals at home, also made use of the grill, and were so happy to find not only were there tons of pots, pans, serving dishes, kitchen gadgets, etc, but more than enough plates, glasses, and silverware to accommodate our large group). The grill was great, the rooms were comfortable, and the short walk to the beach from a nearby public trail was perfect. This house made for an ideal weekend escape for the whole family! Patricia was also super helpful and stayed in touch the whole time via text with any questions or concerns we had. Additionally, a binder prepared with helpful tips about the house, recommendations for local things to do and eat, and fun facts about the area and nearby towns was a very nice touch. One thing to note: the loft bedroom is completely open to the rest of the house so anyone sleeping up there should either be a very deep sleeper or prepared to be last to bed and first to rise! Or you might want to bring earplugs. :)

I *would* say this house was exactly what we were looking for, but it actually FAR surpassed all our expectations. We brought some good friends for a few days of relaxing, some golf, wine tasting, cooking, and cards. The first day was typical Bodega: good seafood and foggy. The trail to the beach was very close which was nice. The second day we were treated to a sunny day and an expansive view of the ocean from the house and back deck. We could see all the way down to Pt. Reyes. We found the kitchen to be stocked better than our own (!) and a pleasure to make a large dinner in. Wine by the firepit with that view was breathtaking and afterwards we moved inside and started a fire and talked for *hours*. Experiences like this are priceless to us, and feel even closer to our friends. We've stayed at plenty of short term rentals but this house was well above and beyond, it is clearly someone's personal home and is beautiful. It is very well decorated, it seems like they have thought of everything to make our stay wonderful, with personal touches everywhere. Owners clearly care a lot about the home, and giving guests a great experience. This is the opposite of the typical "get as many beds in as possible" - it's beautiful, well equipped, and super comfortable. I was proud to enjoy it with my friends. We are already talking about when we can get back to Sea-renity (aptly named!) and making it a regular trip at least twice a year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our visit to Sea-renity was peaceful and relaxing, exactly the escape we needed. The house was fabulous, and what a view of the ocean! We were impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was, which allowed us to save money by cooking full meals at home instead of dining out with every meal. We enjoyed the trail down to the beach and wine tasting just a few miles down the road. We used the spa and fire pit every night and loved having a real wood fireplace inside. The Bose sound bar in the living room was a nice touch. Everything was top-notch and very comfortable! Nice place to recharge; we're already figuring out when we can return.

We came to Bodega Bay for little family getaway and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well stocked the place was. They really thought of everything (kitchen utensils, spices, games, toiletries, etc)! The bed was ridiculously comfy as well.. normally I hate sleeping outside of my own home because it is clear they cut corners on the more expensive items like beds, but again..I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It was a short walk down to the beach and our son loved the tide pools and wildlife in the backyard. Even on the rainy days it was so nice being able to relax with a view. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond with restaurant recommendations. Our neighbors are inquiring about dates for next month already!

We finally got a chance to go back to Searenity. We thought it was so lovely the first time. But Patricia and Mitch have added even more amenities for addressing every guest comfort. It's clear they love this home and want us to capture it's magic too. Other reviewers have spelled out the particulars and we agree whole-heartedly. We'll just say that the FEEL of Searenity was so welcoming, so comfy and classy, we just fell under it's spell. It was exactly what we needed to escape for a while. We'll be back!
