This was our first year staying at the Coconut Beach House after staying in the duplex next door the past two times we have visited North Topsail Island. Both properties are wonderful, but the Coconut Beach House went the extra mile with having an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, including all the basic supplies, from cooking oil to dish detergent to paper towels. Totally unexpected, but also quite nice, was to find hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner in all of the bathrooms, as well as a hair dryer. The closets had ample hangers and there was plenty of storage space in each bedroom. The nightstands in each bedroom included a multi-port charging station. And there was laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided in the utility room. Bottom line is that this house included many things that are not standard in other vacation rentals which made it extra special and extremely convenient. The house itself sits right on the beach so the waves are literally right outside your window/door. And every balcony has chairs, and the middle balcony even has a dining table with chairs. There is also a wall of hooks on the ground floor with a beach towel on each hook for the guests to use. I think this house is perfect for anyone who is having to fly into the area given that one can pack much lighter since so many amenities are provided by the hosts. I definitely would stay here again and our family would need to bring one less suitcase because everything is already here!

My family and I have stayed at this property 4 times now and loved it each time. It sits on a beautiful part of the beach with plenty of room, especially on the side that has no homes built. It fits our needs and has plenty of parking. The interior has been well taken care of with new decor and paint. The owners, Bill & Amy Crawley are fantastic! Always communicated immediately.

It was awesome, my wife loved it. They responded swiftly on short notice.

We loved our stay at The Coconut!! The home is beautiful! Stocked with everything we needed (and then some). Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The new owners have done a fabulous job making it feel like home away from home. I really liked that each bedroom had access to a separate bathroom and each bedroom had large beds (not twin beds). The views are breathtaking!! The house is literally right on the beach. Each floor has a balcony facing the ocean with unobstructed views. We saw several dolphins swimming and a beautiful variety of sea shells on the beach. The beaches and the area were so private, clean and quiet. We felt very safe staying there. There is also easy access to other parts of the island. A mile away is Splash by the Sea, great food, beverages, and super friendly staff. We highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again. Thanks, Bill!

We came to Top Sail to visit my son at Camp Lejeune. The house was perfect! About a 25 minute drive to base. It's a beautiful home! Being from the Midwest, staying on the beach and falling asleep to the sound of they waves was heaven. Beds are super comfortable! The house has everything you need. I was able to cook my son his favorite meals. We would love to stay here again if we visit!!

This clean, spacious, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated oceanfront home made for a perfect vacation. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, and right on the water. We had a wonderful family vacation and will return again!

The location of this property in proximity to the ocean is literally steps away with gorgeous views. Although a duplex, this unit doesn't have neighbors on one side with lots of open beach and dunes. The house was fully stocked with all of the toiletries and paper products that one might need as well as a variety of washing detergents. Quite a bit of attention has been given to the decor in the house making it feel very much like home.

Very pleased. The accommodations were perfect for our family and as advertised. The beach access was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Coconut! The house was exactly as advertised, we really loved it. The beach in front of the house was never crowded, it was perfect. And I should add that we found the biggest shark tooth we've ever found in four years of TI vacations!

We cannot say enough about the new owners of The Coconut. Nice upgrades, excellent communication a very relaxing stay and we will be back.

Such a great place to be. The house was perfect and the beach was so peaceful. It's close enough to all the necessities and activities without being on top of everything. Shark teeth were everywhere right in front of our beach access! We loved every minute of our time there.

The Coconut was the perfect place for my husband and I to reconnect with our adult children who came in from different locations. The townhouse is nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need for the perfect beach vacation right down to boogie boards! We have rented many oceanfront properties from the Outerbanks down to Tybee and this unit, BY FAR, has been the best! No detail has been overlooked; from the outdoor deck furniture to the spigot and shower on the walkway from the beach, to the comfortable interior accommodations, it's obvious much thought was given to making The Coconut a haven at the beach. The views were spectacular from every level! It's a place where great memories are made. I hope we're able to go back soon!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Coconut. The description of the listing was accurate. We got everything it offered and more. We found close to 200 shark teeth right on our beach! The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. We enjoyed walks along the beach, riding the waves and relaxing in the sun. The owners responded to my questions promptly and were wonderful to deal with. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Our family of four stayed at the Coconut for a week of sun, surf and sand. Everything was perfect for our down-time as a family. The location can’t be beat. We appreciated the very comfortable accommodations and all the attention to details to make this place functional for beach fun. The views can’t be beat! We want to thank the new owners of the coconut for allowing us to stay once again. We have been staying at the coconut since 2018 and this was our 3rd time there. We were concerned at 1st when we learned there were new owners. However Bill was very easy to work with and was very responsive. The views are spectacular, literally walk 20 feet off the property and your in the ocean. Everything in the description is spot on. If your looking for a spot to stay on Topsail Island, this is the place. Thanks again, and can’t wait to book again next year.

Perfect location near the rest of my family. Super clean, well stocked. Decor was lovely. This was our 3rd year and have already booked for next year. The best part is the stupendous beach. There were very few people around so was like our own private beach. And as everyone knows the ocean is just perfect there. Kids ran in and out with no shimmies or life vests. Great for the little ones

We also loved the location, as it was very private with no houses directly to the north for quite a while. And it was a short 3/4 mile walk to the pier. We would definitely stay here again.

North Topsail was an excellent location for our family vacation. It was not crowded and very relaxing. It was close enough to restaurants and grocery stores, but not in the midst of "party-goers". The house was as advertised. We loved being right on the ocean and seeing the ocean from the bedrooms and living room. The outside shower/foot wash was very nice for our trips to the beach. The waves were perfect (not too big, but big enough to play in with boogie boards). We also found many, many sharks teeth. We really enjoyed our vacation at this property.

For 6 adults it was the perfect amount of space. Had all the amenities you would want in a beachfront property and isn’t far from shops and restaurants (10-20 min).

Location, Location, Location. Property was on the beach almost in the ocean. 10 steps off deck at high tide and your in the Atlantic. Property has been renovated and is quite nice. ONLY drawn back is you must walk thru downstairs bedroom to go to beach. Sleepers there must be early risers. Overall very relaxing !

Fantastic home!! Been vacationing atleast once a year for past 18 years. This home was THE closest to the water we have ever rented. Clean. Welcoming. Met all of our expectations. The only thing we would add is a SMART TV.

The Coconut deserves a 1000 starts in our opinion! We love to stay at the Coconut because of the location, beauty, peace and the warmth of the home. The home shows the love and pride that Mike and Dawn has put into it to make it a beautiful and welcoming place. Even though we have never met Mike and Dawn we feel like we have known them forever. My husband suffered a life changing accident in January this year, and he goes to therapy every week , spending the week at the Coconut showed him and all of us that God is great and he is always with us. My husband was able to fish and cast without our help and his excitement meant the world to all of us. The Coconut is a little piece of heaven that Mike and Dawn shared with all of us.
